A fabulous hotel. Fantastic breakfast. Very good communication about a flight delay that was out of the control of the company. Great flight times. A superb guide for the Northern Lights tour. Very smooth transfers. A lovely, lovely long weekend. Thank you.

Amazing hotel/super yatch, the weather was atrocious and we arrived 5 hours late after having to divert to Malaga.
Our return journey was even worse and took an extra 12 hours due to the communication tower having no power!

Easy to book and see the Itinerary for the trip on the portal. All documents for flights, hotel, transfers and excursions were there ready within a few days. Easyjet changed the flight time so had to rearrange an excursion which was easy to do on the phone. Staff on the phone always friendly and helpful

We visited for Akureyri 4 nights/ 5 days. It's a lovely town, small and picturesque. Probably 3 nights is adequate, hotel was fine, relaxed atmosphere in the bar area. Late flight home wasn't ideal.

We booked through Travelzoo and chose Great Value Holidays for a trip to Iceland! It was amazing! Easy to navigate the processes, fantastic hotel and trips and all at an amazing price! Would def use Great Value Holidays again! Thoroughly impressed!

Couldn’t fault a single thing!! Everything was great from start to finish. Transport excellent both ways and hotel was lovely. Staff were friendly there and helpful, loved our room they’d thought have everything in this hotel. Food choices were good as well at breakfast and dinner.

Lake Bled in Slovenia is beautiful and can imagine in other seasons is even more beautiful.

Overall experience was fantastic and will be using this company again.

Weather wasn’t so good but the Hotel Akureyri was great!! Loads for breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.
Visited huskies and went whale watching and Akureyri is a fab town.
The views are spectacular

What a fabulous holiday! The service from Great Valie Holidays was outstanding, from the initial booking, right through. Every arrangement was perfect, i had a query that was answered promtly and effectively. Every tour went like clockwork. Every transfer or arrangement made was brilliant and efficient. The hotel was stunning. The trips and transfers were great. I really couldn't praise your company more. I have already started looking at what you have for my next holiday. Booking the holiday was easy and fuss free. Hotel Akureyri couldn’t be bettered. Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble, great breakfast and a great location for walking around.
Only be aware even Iceland has an off season. Most museums closed and trips affected. Great value though and we saw The Lights !

We’ve just come back from northern Iceland and I must say it will remain one of our favour holidays. Brilliant accommodation, room with a beautiful view of the fjord. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. Northern lights experience was just wow!! Akureyri we loved. Great value holidays are what they are called, great value or in my mind fantastic value!!
