Fantastic bike and service

I went to Green-mopeds.com to buy my son his first bike. Jeremy was fantastic. He knew I was a very nervous buying a bike online. He called me and spoke to me about all my options and put me at ease. He kept me well informed throughout the whole process. The bike was delivered very quickly and I am over the moon with my purchase.
I highly recommend this company, 5 out of 5 stars for the bike and the service.
Thank you

Yaeda G5 to Scotland

I chose my Yaeda scooter after seeing one of their useful video reviews. Was going to get a 2nd hand one through their site, but got a new one because they then offer half price delivery to Scotland. They sorted DVLA reg and bike was delivered to my door, all made up and ready to go. I love the scooter and am grateful to Green Mopeds for their help.

Simply the best ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

They were the first company i contacted and the ones i went with. I have a Carrera Zelos in black and a Colorway BK29 which is now in black originally blue, and now since getting intouch with Green mopeds, dealt with Jeremy Boorer am the proud owner of Super Soco TC in black.Everything run smoothly with them from the word go whatever information i asked from them they provided and vice versa and they were extremely helpful throughout the whole process. No matter what time i emailed i got a reply same day. Did my CBT on June 26th 2025 after keeping the bike covered up for a month but now am starting to enjoy the beautiful bike. They helped me sort out every single thing ie insurance, registration, bike security.I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to go green for the first time or to go further green

I booked a test ride there prior to 3 days and they cancelled it by emailing me 3 hours before the booked time. Furthermore, they did not give me any reason for the cancellation. A chat agent was not friendly enough to explain why it has happened. He claimed that the cancellation before 3 hours is not a issue at all. What a great customer support!

Hi

Thanks for your request of a test ride.

Currently you can see the Naxeon at the MCN motorcycle show at the London Excel this weekend but it's not available to test-ride just yet unfortunately.

Adam can talk you through it if you are to go
Regards

=============

The above email did not bounce back and as can been seen, was sent after we were officially closed which seems to be good customer service not the opposite. At the time we did not know when we were to get the bike so hence we did not provide an alternative booking option.

On the Saturday, as we had provided an email that the bike wasnt available, we removed the booking from our calender system which triggered an automated email cancelling it again too. It is this one and not the first one that did not contain any reason which is correct because it is automated.

Having read the transcript of the chat session yesterday, it was never said it was not an issue so not sure where that has come from. We stated, that the test-ride was not possible and the reason for it.

The above email was re-sent yesterday too but that has been ignored as an explanation but it did not bounce back and we used the email in the Booking so maybe it ended in the junk or spam folder.

It is every persons right for them to feel as agreieved or affronted as they wish when things do not go as they expect but it is seems that not accepting our side of what actually happened has been ignored for whatever reason. Therefore we do not feel 1* is a fair or accurate relection of what actually happened but do note that nearly all the reviews left on Trust Pilot of others have been 1* so that might go some way to explain it.

We are the only dealer in the country that now has the Naxeon available for a test-ride which we would argue is a reflection of who the importer trusts to take this bike to market and we are open to anyone who wants to try it in London from today

I bought a Horwin EK3 about 6 weeks ago…

I bought a Horwin EK3 about 6 weeks ago from Green Mopeds and so far it has been great. Before purchasing, I stopped by the garage and saw Jeremy. He is very knowledgable and answered all of my questions about each bike so that I could make an informed decision about which one would suit my commuting. His communication has been excellent and is willing to be messaged on whatsapp which was very convenient. A few unintentional mistakes, such as the bike being delivered without the charger and the battery power not being the one I ordered, were quickly rectified, with the charger being posted out the next day, and the battery being delivered by his mechanic on an agreed date where he also performed the first service for free at my home to make up for the aforementioned, bearing in mind I live on the other side of London! The port on the charger also became loose, to which Jeremy had it replaced by the manufacture under warranty and delivered. I feel confident that I can contact him if I face any issues, but otherwise, I am very happy commuting to and from work with my new Horwin EK3!

My tc max button got water damaged

My tc max button got water damaged. I was unable to find a local company to fix it in a decent time frame. Jeremy was brilliant. Introduced me to a delivery company and fixed the bike inside a couple of days. Highly regret not purchasing my TC Max from them as urban ebikes was unhelpful. Would highly recommend green mopeds for any purchase.

Incompetent

In January 2023 I contacted Green Mopeds to arrange for my S01 Plus to have its first service: I chose Green Mopeds because I’d purchased the scooter via them and because they were the only Silence UK agent within a reasonable distance from me, a 50-minute ride away.

However, despite having arranged with the owner, Jeremy, to arrive at Green Mopeds for the service on the specified day at 10am, when I arrived Green Mopeds was closed and Jeremy said his mechanic had a medical appointment. Despite the fact that I'd left home at 9am that morning to travel to Green Mopeds, Jeremy had taken no action to contact me to let me know that my visit would have been in vain.

On that occasion, and despite the inconvenience Jeremy’s lack of communication had caused, I decided to give him the benefit of any doubt and agreed to reschedule for a later date to allow my scooter to be serviced, which was completed.

Two weeks ago I contacted Green Mopeds again to arrange another service for my S01 Plus. On this occasion I discussed with Jeremy the issues that I wanted addressed, and we agreed that I would bring my scooter to his premises at 10am on Tuesday 17 September.

However, upon arriving in Brentford at 10am that morning, I again found Green Mopeds closed, so I contacted Jeremy on his mobile number. When Jeremy eventually answered (sounding as if he’d just woken up) he greeted me by name and told me that his mechanic had had to go for a “medical assessment” and was unavailable. Once again, despite me travelling 50 minutes for my appointment at 10am, at no point had Jeremy bothered to try to contact me to let me know that there was no point in me travelling down to his closed premises.

My experience with Jeremy and Green Mopeds is reflected by other reviews that can be found here and elsewhere: as a business Green Mopeds are lazy and incompetent. Jeremy is obviously happy to take his commission for scooter sales, but he and his business have repeatedly proved to be woefully unable to provide even the most basic customer service, and instead chooses to create inconvenience for his returning customers.

I think it’s highly unlikely that any of the positive reviews for Green Mopeds are truthful (very few review sites can be trusted in this respect), yet a clear pattern emerges from the negative reviews that Jeremy’s business has received.

What will follow is a lengthy response from Jeremy denying all of this, as he has done with other negative reviews. If Jeremy spent as much effort providing customer service as he does responding to negative reviews in an attempt to shut them down, then maybe he would have a viable business.

Avoid at all costs.

Thank you for your review and sorry we couldnt serve you better this time.

Clearly I need to respond especially to some of the poiints that are either untrue or unfounded and there will be no denial as suggested there will be when things are true.

It is true that unfortunately we had to close at short notice on this occasion when you came for your service and we apologise for it. It is also true that purely coincidentally, both myself and my mechanic were at seperate medical appointments neither of which i have to go into or justify.

It is untrue that I answered the phone by name. I deduced your name from what you said. I dont need to justify why i sounded like i did but being in a hospital environment might have something to do with it; some people might not have answered the phone at all. That could also explain the "eventually" comment you made. Again no-one has to justify after how many rings a phone is answered especially when it would go to voicemail after too long.

It is also untrue that I hadnt tried to contact you. In fact when my mechanic told me he had to go to an Medical Assement which he couldnt re-arrange, the first thing i said to him was about your Service and then I did try and contact you. He said he would back as soon as he could.

It is interesting that we have provided a service on your bike previously and and helped you with warranty claims yet you state we are "lazy and incompetent". Clearly you were happy with the help we gave you at the time else you would not have come back and if those previous occassions had not have resolved things you would have returned to get them resolved.

As for suggesting that the positives reviews of which over 90% are good or better are fake and only negative ones like yours are genuine, i will leave others to judge. However it seems interesting that you state that Trust Pilot cant be trusted but then use it to post a review that should be trusted. In any event, it will take little effort if someone cared to look to prove that the reviews which rate us as a Great company on here are genuine.

It is a sign of the times that people would rather leave reviews like this than actually get a resolution. As you had hung up, we didnt have the opportunity to tell you what time our mechanic would be back and if you would mind waiting, suggest an alternative date, even offer us to come to you to save you coming back (which we can do) etc etc.

The bottom line is that we strive to do our best in a challenging retail environment. We have over 700 customers of which 90% who have left reviews state we are a good or great company to deal with. No business is perfect but we aim and do help customers make the right purchase decision and help them with issues that arise.

Avoid this trader

On the 11th of May 2024, I bought a bike. On the 21st of May 2024, the cover of the back wall broke, and it was replaced by the vendor on the 8th of June 2024.
After this, on the 18th of May, 2024, the bike stopped working while stopped at a traffic light. I informed the vendor, and they advised me to lubricate the side stand, which I did without effect. Eventually, on the 22nd of June, I sent the bike back to the vendor to try and fix it under the warranty. They tried the side stand, which did not resolve the problem and then the throat, which again did not resolve the problem. At this point, on the 8th of July, I rejected the bike as having an inherited fault under the Consumer Act. The vendor refused to let me exercise this right and insisted they still had the right to fix it after two attempts.
Today, 16/08/2024, they returned the bike to me without telling me anything. They just left the bike outside the property without anybody being in the property and without anybody signing for it. Meanwhile, the credit card company reversed some money as the bike was bought on a part exchange.

*** UPDATE 10/10/24 ***

Please feel free to read the rest of the reply. However, although we take no pleasure in this, the two seperate Credit Card Companies this customer went to about getting a refund under the Consumer Rights Act found in our favour. We feel this highlights that Consumers sometimes need to have a greater understanding of their Rights but also the Retailers Rights too especially with regards to Vehicles. We will be happy to work with this and every customer of ours when issues occur to help them with their purchase.

***

To explain what actually happened, please consider this analogy.

A customer buys an ex-demo TV. Because it is ex-demo, by definition it has been used to show others the functionality of it working. It includes a solid 1 to 2kg TV stand & like the rest of the TV has been made to European Standards.

One month after purchasing, the customer calls to say that somehow the solid cast alloy stand has broken while being used. The customer says "I hope this is covered by the warantee otherwise I will have to reject the goods & return it. "

The Retailer goes to the customers house & even though its pretty clear that a solid piece of metal would not just break, a new stand is provided as a gesture of good will.

A month later the customer calls to say the TV has gone off. After the first 30 days of ownership the retailer is entitled to fix it as under Consumer Law, they have ONE opportunity to resolve EACH NEW ISSUE that occurs.

AS IS ENTIRELY NORMAL, the obvious solutions are tried first. First they try the remote, that doesnt work, then the batteries are replaced, that doesnt work either, then the fuse in the Plug is replaced etc. At this stage, the customer says, you have had 3 attempts to fix it & under the Consumer Rights Act they want a refund. Obviously when you are trying to fix ANY problem, you try things (eg the batteries, fuses) until you find the solution.

So, concerning the Bike. Firstly, the above timings are incorrect. This was an ex-demo bike that had been ridden by numerous people & ourselves without issues. Vehicles are made to strict EU standards including the solid forged alloy 1 - 2KG mudguard arm which the customer claims "broke" (see here for a picture of the part in question https://postimg.cc/B8NKTSyb).

We have checked with numerous people in the trade & not one person would accept that a solid forged metal 35cm long Mudguard holder would break without some impact on it so for the customer to claim they would reject the bike if it wasnt fixed is unjustified but we did it anyway.

Regarding the second issue that occurred a month later. We tried a couple of obvious things to fix it, in this case the side-stand sensor & then the throttle. We were keeping the customer updated as a matter of courtesy but after we told him we have tried the throttle as our second piece of diagnosis, he then decided that he would be entitled to a refund as we had had 2 attempts to fix it. We eventually did fix it & all IN ONE VISIT just like the TV analogy above which despite us trying to explain, the customer refuses to accept.

This customer seems to want to cherry pick the parts of the Consumer Rights Act that they think suits them. EG, "one attempt to fix" includes the actual fix not just the diagnosis ie you try things to diagnose faults (in this case, the side-stand sensor, the throttle etc) until you find the issue & fix it which we did.

As for returning the vehicle. Customers have left bikes for us on numerous occasions overnight outside our unit & put the keys through our door. Rental companies have this process too & it is in our Ts&Cs that if a customer isnt available when we try & deliver &/or return a vehicle, we will leave it in a safe place. In this case, we left it in the same space as his previous motorbike was when we came to PX it. In addition, we provided £150 of Security devices at no cost as a further gesture of good will.

Happy to discuss further if required

If you want an electric motorcycle or moped this is the place

Green mopeds were great with their advice as buying a bike was completely new to me. They were great in that they had all the main contenders there to try but directed me to the Super Soco CPX based on my size (6'4") as it was the only one I fitted on. 3 weeks on and they delivered to my home in Dorset. I'm really pleased with the bike. It's really easy to ride, speedy, quiet, comfortable. It's got decent acceleration and enough umph to keep up with traffic other than on a dual carriage way. I'm glad I took the option to add the taller windshield.

Buying a classic looking L3 electric scooter

I spent a while choosing an L3 electric scooter wanting something with classic lines, a removable battery, and a decent spec. My choice was heavily influenced by the fact I had been a Vespa rider for the previous 20 years. My first visit to green mopeds was in the summer of 2021 when they were in Teddington, a difficult to get to compared to their current place in Brentford. Jeremy showed me the Artisan EVC, a good-looking bike. The battery weighed a ton, and I was not convinced. By the summer of 2022 the Lexmoto LX06 had been launched. I liked its lines the spec but for some reason was hesitant. By June 2023 I had bought the LX06. It’s such fun to ride and I am totally hooked on electric for urban travel. I would rate green mopeds as follows:
10/10 for patience
10/10 for test rides
10/10 for expertise, see their you tube videos.
10/10 for a well-chosen range of bikes
The best place to buy an electric bike in London.
