Michael and Martin (peterlee) were great. They got on well with the job and worked efficiently throughout. Pleased with the job .

We have recently had a heat pump installed by Green Building Renewables and the service provided was reliant and efficient throughout the project.
All communications were dealt with by return, the contractors were polite and always left the property clean and tidy during the process. Excellent!

Very competent installers. Broke a few tiles on roof.
left a lot of debris in gutters. Am still waiting to have a few tiles replaced and the guttering cleaned, as they have not done this despite my requests.
Scaffolders created a lot of mess but I cleaned up with a jet wash of my driveway.

The lads turned up after a call to say that they were on their way they got straight on with the job and didn't stop until they were finished both very polite and left no mess really really pleased thankyou

I originally rang to say I had purchased an EV charger from Tesla and was told GBR couldn't fit it which was wrong. Having checked with Tesla they confirmed that they could fit the charger. The only other problem I had was not being kept informed when the work was due to be done.
Once the date was fixed, the installers turned up as expected and did a superb job. So the only reason for not awarding 5* was poor initial communication.

We had a 15 year old ICE Energy system that needed taking out and replaced with a Kenza system. The team from Green Building Renewables achieved this with the addition of fitting room by room thermostats so we had control from our phones for the first time ever. What a great experience - everyone involved was professional and friendly with special mention to Tom, Dave and Finn. The work was first class and I could not recommend the company more highly.

What I like about this company is they are on the ball all of the time yet remain very competitive. The staff are always approachable and knowledgeable. The office team knew everything that was going on with our installation and were totally flexible to fit around the issues arising from other areas of our overall project. On top of that the installation teams arrived on time with a smile on their faces and did a fantastic job for us. We are very pleased with the performance of the solar panels and storage batteries and are looking forward to the installation of the air sourced heat pump.
Overall I get the distinct impression that this is a very happy company and filled us with confidence with every contact. We would have no hesitation in recommending Green Building renewables for any size of project as we got the impression they would handle any project big or small as effectively as they have ours.

Despite having a solar installation done by someone else, these guys were kind enough to come and sort out the other installers mess.

It took about 15 minutes for their engineer Dave to solve the problem and get everything working as it should be, he also got everything connected in my app which was a bonus.

I would be very happy to use GBR for any furture issues with my solar installation or to expand the system

Just had our install - what an awesome company to deal with. Our location isn’t shown below as Inspired Renewables have only just joined the Green Buildings renewables team. From initial quote and consultation to install I’ve never felt so informed. I was lucky enough to get booked in early due to a cancellation. And boy did the 3 teams move quickly. From the scaffolding team who worked to get a frame up in a reasonably tight passage. The sparkies that not only worked at an incredible pace but also with a fantastic humour - seriously they should have a show on TV. And I can’t forget the panel installers - they encountered a problem, the scaffolders came back and helped them get the panels safely on the roof. And once the kit was on the roof I couldn’t believe how quick they finished.

The TL:DR - competitive quote, fantastic teams installing a great product in a timely manner. Top work

Very good all round experience from first contact to the completed job. Converted our existing the solar system from pure feed-in to a batteries and replaced our invertor which had broken some months earlier.
Fitters were very helpful and carried out a first class service.

Brilliant all round. We are doing a barn conversion and had solar panels and an underfloor heating system (air source) installed. Everyone we dealt with were great, the office was always helpful and quick to answer questions and the guys that came out were brilliant. Our builders and plumber were very impressed too and our plumber has already been recommending them to others.

We have been very impressed throughout the whole process of having our Solar panels fitted. The after care service from this company is second to none. We needed information for the electric company we are using, so that we will get paid for any surplus energy which goes back into the grid. I contacted Green Building Renewables for this information and everything we needed was sent through by e-mail super quick. Thank you so much for your help.

The product (PV solar panels in my case) is excellent, and the installers were great, as was anyone I spoke to on the phone. Why 4 stars not 5? There were occasional delays and slip-ups with admin. This is presumably due to them being very busy: everybody wants what they are selling at present! I have no hesitation in recommending them.
