All our dealings with the Greenhouse People have been great. Nothing has been too much trouble. They gave us guidance about choosing the installer and put back our order by a month when the base wasn't ready without any problem. The greenhouse is of a superb standard and even the installer loved it. Looking forward to many years of use and enjoyment.

Ordered a Victorian Rugby Greenhouse. Set aside this bank holiday weekend to put it up, having had a dwarf wall build. Quickly realised that there were parts missing, a total of 18, so not just the odd one. There were 5 extra parts that must be for a different size of greenhouse. Took hours and hours to figure all this out as the parts are not labelled so you have to identify them from the profile and by measuring the length. Also 17 of the parts we had received had patchy powder coating with bare metal showing. Staff very pleasant and apologetic over the phone but as they've discontinued this colour, is going to take several weeks to get the parts that we need. Very disappointing for such an expensive greenhouse.

We bought a Hercules Trafalgar from the Greenhouse People in Ditchling. I can honestly say it was one of the most pleasurable buying experiences I have ever had. This was down to Jon. Informative, knowledgeable, helpful and in no way "a pushy salesman". I was uncertain as to which greenhouse to go for and with Jon's help, my focus was narrowed to the one we eventually purchased. The delivery guy, all the way from Stoke I believe, was also brilliant and placed the parts where I wanted them. I had thought of putting it together myself and I'm sure many people do. However, it takes me several hours to put up a shelf so I opted for one of their top fitters, Mark, who also laid the base on one day and a couple of weeks later came back to install the Greenhouse in less than a day. (I would have taken a week). A nice guy. Very diligent, skilled and hardworking.
Altogether, I would recommend Jon and the Ditchling branch of The Greenhouse People and would not hesitate to use them again.

We were helped by Jason at the Staines site who was very informative but not pushy. There were a good variety of greenhouses and sheds to view all of which were in good condition (some places we've been to have very tired looking display models which are past their best). We purchased a shed and the process was very smooth. We are now looking forward to delivery.

We recieved our greenhouse today and although I can't comment on it yet as it hasn't been erected. I want to comment about the delivery man Jack. He was a delight to have at the house, polite and extremely helpful. So far our whole experience with the company has been excellent. I will review the greenhouse once it is fully installed

Was able to give us the best options and prices available for the space we had and also provided us with diagrams showing measurements for us to take home.

We purchased a Hercules greenhouse from Craig mid 2025 at Dobbies in Chesterfield. He recommended installers for both the slab base and installation of the greenhouse, all were brilliant, turned up on time and carried out a great job. We then needed a racking system for inside which turns out the on we wanted was discontinued but Craig found us one. brilliant service all round, highly recommend the Chesterfield store.

Both Jason and Sue where so helpful and informative without being pushy.
Would highly recommend a visit.

We bought our first greenhouse from Greenhouse people at Detling. David was our first port of call to help us choose the right one. We asked lots of questioned and queried various types but nothing was too much trouble for David and we felt confident with what we had learnt to enable us to make the right choice for our budget.
Tony was recommended to us for fitting it and we are so glad that we did ask Tony to put it together as it was too complicated for us. Tony went out of his way to put it together for us in a timely way even when a part had to be changed. He explained the workings to us and helped us put in a water trough for the rainwater. A brilliant service all round and would highly recommend the team at Detling. The greenhouse is now my favourite place to plant seeds, try new plants and even just sit with a coffee.

Having bought a greenhouse from this company last year and having a very positive experience I returned to purchase a summerhouse but the whole thing has been total nightmare. From delivery being 2 months later than agreed on ordering, to feeling very misled by the sales person, I would never return or advise anyone else to. I feel ripped off and very disappointed. It has cost me almost the price I paid for the building again to get it how it should have been in the first place by having to use other trades people who are not from The Greenhouse company. Very disappointed

Sue was very knowledgeable and helpful when buying our greenhouse. She took us through the process seamlessly and gave a great demo of the one we purchased. I am now eagerly awaiting its delivery.

Sue & Jason were excellent at client communication, listening and advising, which resulted in being able to choose the right greenhouse for our garden.

The customer service was excellent and was the decider in ordering my shed from this Business at Notcutts, Ditchling. Jon, in particular, made this a straightforward experience. My needs were considered and I was kept updated at every step of the process. This included follow up contact after the shed was installed. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Excellent job by Euan Denham of Denham Installations installing our Robinsons Regent V-type 6 x 12, and its base. Euan was friendly, professional and hard working and really helpful in customising the installation to our needs. The delivery driver Ian was also really helpful, putting materials were we wanted them and providing lots of useful advice. All in all, a really good experience... excellent work.

Jason at Staines was very helpful both during my telephone enquiry and during the visit. He has extensive product knowledge and an engaging manner. It was a pleasure to deal with him and gain a full understanding of the products on offer and the chosen model.

The sales representative was excellent. Came to the site and measured for our new greenhouse. He was accurate and discussed with me any concerns I had. He was always available to answer questions and completely reliable when asked to return calls and find further information. It was a pleasure dealing with a polite helpful person.
