item has not arrived 8 days later eventually responded to my email to say when it was sent out its looking like the parcel was not tracked and contains a knife which i find absurd said they would check and come back to me that day with an answer and im still waiting for that wishing id never used them as i am with out the money or the items i ordered

Excellent service and products.
This is the second time I've purchased from Greenman Bushcraft and I am delighted with both the products and service.My order required proof of age before dispatch ,which is an excellent safety measure, and came within a couple of days. Bought four Whittling knives for kids
Bought four Whittling knives for kids. Absolutely brilliant service, easy to upload proof of age, product was packaged well and arrived promptly. The knives themselves are exactly as the write up on the website describes them and are right for the recommended age, the kids have been able to use them easily and are really enjoying them. Bramble/Nettle Cutter
The service and delivery was excellent, However the product was light weight, poor quality and over priced. I have not returned it as I have sharpened it in order to make it work. With effort ,it will cut down Nettles now but makes no impression on Brambles. I am sorry to have to makes such comments, but hope this feedback will be useful.

Ordered and paid online on a Sunday evening then realised I’d chosen the wrong option on the type of blade I wanted on a knife. I sent an email asking if I could change it. Got an email early the next day saying if it was possible they would change it. Item arrived on the Wednesday with the corrected blade option. I found the ordering process very efficient and was very happy with the service received and will definitely shop here again.

Good honest trader
Ordered a Ganzo Firebird Machete from these guys. The price was fantastic - cheapest I'd found. Ordering was simple, having uploaded proof of ID/age and delivery very prompt. Couldn't fault.
The description and photo showed the knife with a fire steel and sharpening stone and a sheath with a pocket for the extras. The knife that turned up was just that - the knife and plain sheath (no pocket), and no steel, etc. I dropped a polite email saying that although not a deal breaker, the goods weren't as described, etc and was quite surprised when a couple of days later I received a very apologetic phone call from a lady who explained that the supplier had changed the item, not told them and therefore they hadn't realised. She promised the website would be updated (it has been already) and that as a gesture of goodwill they'd send out a fire steel (i've yet to receive this but i know they're busy and it has only been a few days, so i'll take them at their word).
I like an honest trader, and one who doesn't mind admitting when things have gone wrong. Online trading has removed much of that honesty. It's refreshing to find traders who still see the value in ringing customers for that human element.
Despite the minor hiccough, I would happily deal with Greenman Bushcraft again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for this kind of gear. Aside from which, they plant trees for you - how wonderful is that!!
