Took my 2 youngest kids (6 and 14 year old boys) to the Warrington park on the 1/8/24.
£20 per ticket is an absolute bargain in the summer school holidays and it was a great day out I must say. Took our own snacks and drinks and glad I did because they wanted £6 for a slush! (about 500ml). But honestly, that was our only gripe of the day, large fries £3.50 which I thought was ok, cheesy fries a fiver but cheese was cheap n nasty.
Overall though we had a brill day, lots of rides for my youngest and enough rides to keep my 14 yr old happy. Longest queue was approximately 20 mins for the most popular rides. 40 mins drive from Manchester and NO CHARGE FOR PARKING!!! (looking at YOU Alton Towers). Highly recommend a day out here for kids up to the age of 15.

Incompetent staff no education around children with special needs

This place is lucky to get a 1 star after the way me and my family got treated on Sunday 28th July. My son is Autistic and after being here for 5-10 mins I have never wanted to leave so much after the appalling experience I received. My son is non verbal and he pointed to go on the spinny cups but when we were getting on he was getting a little anxious and needed to just on my knee a minute for him to regulate himself and feel safe. The ride rides operator named Thomas asking for him to sit down so I tried to sit him down again and then I knew he wasn’t going to looked around to ask to get off to find Thomas shaking his head at me and then when I explained my son is autistic takes him a little longer for him to turn around and say “that’s not my problem” I asked to speak to a manager where I had an inexperienced boy named Kieron who has been in role for 1 month talking to someone with 7 years management experience come over saying “what’s the problem” in such a bad tone of voice wouldn’t listen kept talking over me to say “he’s doing his job” so doing his job is job is to discriminate against a child with special needs. These 2 members of staff are incompetent, shouldn’t be in customer facing roles and need some education around children with special needs especially as this is a children’s park! Worst customer service and park ever! Would never return will be taking this complaint to the top as to say what they did is NOT acceptable

Huge disappointment and unsafe

• No WIFI despite when booking the agent advised this was present
• Our room was situated by a really dirty lake which had a foul smell so couldn't use the balcony or had to buy fans from the local supermarket to get a bit of breeze in the room
• On Saturday morning I was stuck in our bathroom for 10-15 mins due to the door being jarred (video attached)
• Constant queueing for drinks and food orders despite the restaurant being very well staffed
• When served across the 3 days, 4 out of 5 times my order was wrong or I was overcharged with no refund given as we were told to queue "like everyone else" whilst looking after 3 children
• Staff on the till seemed to not have been trained, we were polite and understanding towards this but found the manager to be less friendly towards them
• Ordered kids hotdog meals on both evenings and when the order was received for my children it was sausage and chips which we were not told
• They restaurant across 2 days also didn't have any apple juice
• When booking we were told breakfast would include a hot drink, we were told it wasn't in the restaurant and had to purchase from the Costa next door
• Majority of smaller JCB rides out of service on the park
• The lunch we had inside the Gulliver's Land resort restaurant (shaped as a castle) the burger was wrong 3 times and had to keep retuning to change this, we were at table 44
• The breakfast baps were dry and when asking were told we have no brown sauce but then a different member of staff was giving it to another table (Image 0 attached)
• On both evenings my burgers were burnt and hard, again was told to queue to complain! (Images 1 and 5 attached)
• The chips each night were dense like they were from the night before and when asking to change this took up to 20 mins when we had finished our meal when we had to ask a member of staff walking past.
• The DJ at the kids disco at 7.30pm promised my daughter a birthday shoutout, this never happened and when asking if this was going to be happen was told sorry one more song and we are closed, of course for a young girl this had her in tears.
• Our son Cole who is 2 was playing in the area in the photo attached (Image3) with several children in and out of the play area the door was so stiff when a child opened and shut it this smashed him in the face which has now become badly bruised, there was no first aid on hand so had to leave the park early to go to a local supermarket to get pain relief and to bring the swelling down, this is hugely dangerous and could have had his eye out (Image 2 after injury)
• My wife took a bite out of her vegan sausage bap, for only this to be a meat sausage bap and not what was ordered, as a vegetarian this was horrifying and distressing for her on Saturday morning.
• One of the managers on duty on Saturday evening Anna was extremely rude to myself, wife and children when placing our order. We were told that there were no pizzas or burgers which were vegetarian and following the morning breakfast disaster wanted to be clear on our order to avoid any issues. On the menu it does not state a number of included meals in the stay which are included as vegetarian so no clear understanding of the offering. When we asked if there was anything that could be offered to my wife, Anna approached us around the till and said "You don't know what you're talking about, stop trying it on for a free upgrade!" this Infront of all my family in a real in your face manner. She then said "if we don't like what's on offer pay the extra or go somewhere else" this all Infront of my wife and children, poor customer service and most of all an awful attitude to show to my young children. Following this we received glares from her for the rest of our stay making it very uncomfortable.

A few members of staff who did put a smile on our faces and deserve a special mention:

• Joe at the log flume ride for his service and friendliness with our family.
• Gabby on one of the stools was very interactive with our children which gave them a smile, especially our son who could be seen visibly hurt from the previous day injury.

This was our first time to Gulliver's and a real disappointment across the family, for my daughter who was expecting a more magical birthday than what was given.

I would give zero but it will not…

I would give zero but it will not allow.
Matlock gulliver's, disappointed and left feeling ripped off, paid 74 I believe it was for 2 adults and 1 child, the park is massively run down anamatronics and areas that have been there since the 90s when I was a child. All dropping to bits if working at all. Few new "attractions" basically to walk around/look at. It either needs alot of investment to recant and actually take care of what is already there or closing adding a few new climbing frames isnt cutting it. We will not be going to any of the other parks as we intended to after that visit. Shocking avoid matlock

We visited Gullivers in Matlock Bath…

We visited Gullivers in Matlock Bath with our granddaughter today. The place is very dilapidated and run down. I don’t think it’s had any tlc for over 30 years!
I’m disabled and use a mobility scooter, because of the steepness of the site it was impossible to get around. Not one member of staff offered any help.
All the rides are very old and they dont seem to bothered about Health and Safety.
Frankly, it’s a disaster waiting to happen.
We will NEVER go back…..

Very disappointed with my visit today…

Very disappointed with my visit today as we purposely booked this weekend as my 4 year old son loves dinosaurs and it was the Dino unleashed weekend. Online it said dinosaurs would be roaming the park all day for children to see and touch. We were lucky to see 1 dinosaur by chance near the entrance as we had been told to head to safari kingdom which is next to the lost world as this is where the dinosaurs would be and surprise we only saw the dinosaurs that are part of the lost world.
We were also told that there was dinosaur eggs hidden around the lost world for children to find amd again we didn't see any and speaking with other parents neither had they.
I was with my nana who was in a wheelchair and we were had to walk up a ramp which was very bumpy to gain access to the lost world as we were told that was the only way in (it wasn't but we only found this out later)
Several rides had 1 member of staff manning them so you had to wait until they had finished with other rides before you could go on.
Members of staff didn't know where the disabled toilets were so my nana had to use the general toilets and could have had a fall due to them having no rails for her to hold on to.
The rides were OK for young children and my son had a good day but was upset as he didn't get to see the real dinosaurs.

Visited Gulliver's Dinoland & farm

Visited Gulliver's Dinoland & farm. In the cafe I was ahead of a family, I ordered, paid and waited. And waited and waited. The entire family was served before me - why? I went to enquire where my food was. a couple of minutes later someone came out with half of it and I took it to the table. Then the table number spoon was removed but the rest of the meal wasn't brought over. I want a refund of the missing parts of the meal that were paid for.

Very poor accomodation

We came the weekend of 2nd march for our daughters 4th birthday the eat, sleep, play package and tbh we've not been impressed at all, this was previously emailed but heard nothing in return.
Accomodation Princess suite one: when we first got in two bulbs in the kids section were broken (we did ring maintanence and had this fixed), the mini fridge wasn't cold even on colest setting and my son had medicine that requires refridgerating (luckily it was cold enough outside to store outside but this is besides the point). Then when it was time to go to sleep we realised the balcony doors wouldn't lock by this point the children were asleep therefore was unable to ring and get this sorted. As a result of this i was unable to sleep as i have high levels of anxiety.
Entertainment: the craft they had going on was only able to accomodate 1 family at a time due to staff & room. The arcade and disco were so cold we weren't able to stay due to the freezing conditions everytime anyone closed the doors the staff opened them not closing them again everyone had coats on and so many people had to leave. My daughter also has a lung condition that means it wasn't worth the risk of us staying longer. The parks at site were either closed and bits around the site closed & run down with sheets of metal laying around the site ect considering it's just had time to sort all this.
The good parts were our room was amazingly snug and warm and the food in the resturant and staff in their were lovely.
Gullivers land: lots of the rides were closed on both days sometimes for the whole day sometimes for a good chunk of the day a whole part of the park was closed both days (the lost world) and again in general the park was quiet run down considering it's opening weekend and things should have just had a clean down and spruce up. (On the pluss the staff in gullivers land are amazing at making the kids feeling special)
We've been to other gullivers and never been this disappointed we loved every minute of the other parks. There were also other familys complaining about the same things during the stay with one family actually leaving to find better accomodation.

Paid for my 3 year old who is 85 cm tall. The requirement to go on absaloutely anything is 90cm, even the safest of rides. So paid £15 to have my 3 year old cry, whilst his 5 year old brother went on everything.

It's tatty and run down. Shame I can't add photos because there's some shocking ones.
Half the rides not working, or shops closed.

Gave my daughter an allergic reaction, poor customer service and now being ignored

Visited with my family for the Christmas package took my 10 year old and 2 year old. We generally had a good time until the food during the show which completely tainted our experience. On the booking form I highlighted my daughter has allergies and specified which allergies. When we went for the meal I told them again about her allergies, we were then forgotten about so when asked if we had already got our food I explained no but my daughter has allergies. Shortly after this the same member of staff came out with a pen and paper and wrote down those allergies and confirmed they hadn't made our food yet. When the food came out they specified this is the allergy meal, which looked different to my sons so I didn't question anything. My daughter ended up have a bad allergic reaction which resulted in seeking medical help as it slowly got worse. It took 4 days for her to recover. I was shocked considering they were told 4 times about her allergies so I reached out to Gulliver's to ask about their policies and what they would have given her that could have potentially resulted in the reaction. Their customer service has been shocking, after calling them they called back to ask a few questions and assured us we would have a call back, still waiting over 2 weeks later. I followed up with an email which I got mixed information where I was told the chicken nuggets are allergy free (her allergies), so then why did my son and daughter get different chicken nuggets. Along with this I got incorrect information and half responses where they didn't acknowledge my questions. At this stage I asked to escalate the complaint, now 5 days later I am still waiting on a response from the duty manager. I will be taking this much further. I will not be returning we are lucky my daughter wasn't worse.

Never responded to my complaint. Customer service is absolutely shocking …

Do not visit this place you will be deflated.

Hi, ref - W1577928-BK3866083 (2/12/23)

We visited the park today and I was prepared for the fact that some rides wouldn't be running but to get there and realise that we would have completed all the rides within 30 minutes of arrival was beyond a joke and not what I was under the impression of when I booked the tickets especially after paying £96. Going through their website map, there were 12 rides open we counted 6.

The caterpillar broke after queuing for 30 minutes with 2 young children so we couldn’t go on it. The antelope said was opening at 11.30 the only ride my child wanted to go on to them find out it wouldn’t be opening at all.
We then wanted to get a hot drink as it was freezing to then find out all the machines were not working and we couldn’t get a hot chocolate / coffee was disappointing.
We then went to the gully’s cafe and got 2 children’s meals and 2 large hot dog meals and paid £35 . The chips were stone cold and the burger buns rock hard. We took the food back and was refused a refund or a new meal. All this went straight in the bin as was totally inedible.
We then booked into the grotto at 2pm (our booked slot) to be queint for 45 minutes to see Santa even after booking a slot.
We then had a confused child as when we left Santas room another room was wide open and my child seen a different Santa in that room which she then said “why is there 2 santas” just really disappointing day and expect more after paying so much money. We have visited gullivers on numerous occasions and feel totally robbed and let down. I have receipts pictures of the food if you need me to send these over.

Thanks
