Bought Alpha Intec diverter valve, Listed as 100% genuine and shows a photo of the genuine manufacturers part. Unfortunately the 2 valves that were sent out to me are the same pattern part available else where, Hanicks charge a lot more money for them.

Theis company is a complete SCAM. They send out refurbished parts when advertised as new. Then they refuse to refund you when they dont work., claiming you sent back the incorrect part. Avoid....Customer servcie is so terrible that the openly insult their customers within Google reviews.

Spoke to a lady at Hanicks on Monday morning to source me a Baxi Burner ,she later phoned me to say she had found one,ordered that day and arrived Wednesday morning.Very polite lady and excellent service.

Just received a 2 way Zone valve body which Wasent as described on Amazon photo showed a valve body with internal 23mm thread fitting which is what I required this unit was £25 expensive in comparison to the standard 22 mm compression fitting type valve which is available for £16 at any plumbers and on there web site ? .when the valve arrived it’s just a standard £16 valve !!!!! What makes them even worse is the sign stuck on the box which states
HANICKS This is a security seal and must not be Brocken or this item may not be returned for credit ??? How do you know if it’s the correct part without opening the box what a conn company will never use again wast of time and miss leading product photos Be warned ! Will try and add photos of products as advertised and as supplied

I purchased a Baxi diverter valve, via Amazon, it arrived and it was fitted. It was leaking and not working as it should therefore I had to remove, purchase a replacement and fit another. When I returned to Hanicks I was told I had not returned the original part. I absolutely had! I was then asked to provide gas safe report to confirm it was faulty which again I did. I was then advised that it was checked and there was no fault; I have photographic evidence to show that it was leaking. Only 50% of the payment was refunded. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY. They are extremely difficult to engage with and are very untrustworthy. Seem to be trying to find any reason they can to retain my money. Even though they have the item back.
