Truly amazed. I had a lot of odds and ends of silver and a little bit of gold as my mother was a jeweller. Scraps & unwanted pieces. I ordered two of the ‘Gold packs’ which quickly came in the post. I filled out the forms for each. Posted them back. I was really worried whether they would get there safely or not. I would have rather gone in person but they are not open at the weekend. I posted them on Wednesday Lunchtime. By the NEXT day I had the money in my account. I couldn’t believe it. What an incredible service. I also rang them on the phone before I sent the items just to put my mind at ease and understand how to do it. They were lovely on the phone. Recommend 100%. It was worth a lot more than I thought too. Really worth doing!

I asked for the best time to visit the office but got told “anytime”. Upon arrival I found a long queue with not clue on how long it would take to be received.
It turns out it took a long time because staff shortage meanwhile there was no access to the toilet. Staff in general seemed slow and did not acknowledge the queue building up.
All in all, the experience is not great.” For customers.

Excellent and reliable service
I visited HGM in person at their new premises. The security personnel kindly escorted me through the doors into the seated counter reception area. With Just a short wait the service I received was so professional and relaxed. I was informed on arrival that registering an online account with the business would keep future transaction process simple at the counter. All the assistants gave customers an individually pleasant welcome and advice with buying and selling gold in a relaxed manner. Transaction and payments are straightforward during selling or receiving your purchase. Im sure anyone visiting HGM would feel delighted and happy about the good service from this business and wonderful sales team Iike I felt.

What an incredible company to deal with. They gave me a good quote based on what I thought I had. I had however, mistaken some 18ct gold for 9ct, so when they received my parcel they updated their offer, making it even better. Then, they had paid the money into my account within a very short space of time, the same day that they received the parcel. Would definitely use them again, what a trustworthy organisation they are. Tom from Hatton Garden Metals called me promptly this morning to sort the problem of underpayment out. I should have received a note saying one of the items was not of the right description. But I did not. He asked me to forward the emails I received. He called me right back. The difference was indeed due to the single item. Very professional handling. I am satisfied with the explanation given and the handling of my complaint about underpayment.
