I trust Hermes unequivocally

I trust Hermes unequivocally. All my parcels have made it to me and the drivers have been delightful. If you've had a bad driver complain directly to the company so they can find out why they never made it there or if they're actually a bad worker. It will help both of you

Worst in the UK

Hermes is the worst delivery service I have ever had to deal with in the UK. Some online retailers use Hermes and not a single time the delivery was smooth. I have had parcels marked as delivered while they were not, and others simply delayed (or "held") for no reason. There is no way to contact them, one always has to go through the retailer. This is unacceptable for today's standards, when others offer real-time GPS tracking, possibility to contact the driver on mobile, and most importantly professionalism.
I recommend retailers to refrain from using Hermes for their deliveries, because customers will eventually avoid it and go elsewhere.

Hermes strike again

Hermes strike again. This has got to be the worst courier company ever.
I had 3 messages to say my parcel was on its way on Saturday, Then another to say that my parcel couldn't be delivered on Saturday but they would bring it another day. Then I had an email (on Saturday) saying they tried delivery but no one was in. I was in all day and we left instructions where is it was to be left, should we not be in.
I have contacted the company that I bought the item from and Hermes have now informed them that they don't know where my parcel is and they will have to do a sweep of the warehouse to try and locate it, which will take 24 hours. This is the third time that these jesters at Hermes have done this to me.
I will no longer buy from any outlet that uses Hermes. I just wish that I could give minus stars!!!

Don't trust hermes to deliver next day

Don't trust hermes to deliver next day. Customer service is totally crap. Was told it would be delivered before 5pm by customer service. But couldn't where my in their system was. Their will lie to you until it becomes obvious that they are lying to you. then will tell that your parcel will be with you in 24-48 hours. If I was unhappy with that, then I should contact the company/seller with my problem. Unreal. Someone buys a service and when that service goes wrong, their responsible. That's a new one on me.
So not only are you unlikely to get your next day delivery the next day you will also waste a day waiting because you have been lied to.
If your considering using hermes/myhermes/hermesworld. Don't their trustpilot rating says all you will ever need to know

I require an immediate response.

On Wednesday the 14th February 2018 at approx. 9.45am a man knocked at my door with two parcels, appearing to be my trainers that I ordered from sweatshop online. The man was driving what appeared to be his own vehicle he was not in a branded courier van. I answered the door and politely explained I am only accepting one parcel as advised to by the company I bought them from. The man scanned one parcel and handed over to me and then scanned the 2nd parcel and said “I don’t know how to reject a parcel, you will have to take both”. I again said I have been told to reject one of the parcels and that this wouldn’t be a problem. The man then started being very rude and changed to speaking in Pakistani, I could not understand what he was saying but it sounded offensive. The man then grabbed the parcel in my hand and started pulling at it very roughly. I did not let go, he continued to pull at the parcel shouting at me and then bent my fingers back to try and get me to let go. I asked the man to leave my property immediately or I would call the police – he did not leave and he carried on pulling at the parcel, shouting at me and being very intimidating. My mum heard all this and came to the door, she too tried to pull back the parcel. I didn’t want to let go due to him scanning it which meant he had handed over the parcel to me. If I had let it go I would have had no proof of ever receiving the parcel or the man taking it back etc. I then grabbed the other bag, and told him I would take both parcels (he had already scanned the other barcode, even though I asked him not to) meaning I had received both parcels. The man let go of the parcel and ran off to his car, I quickly ran out after and took a picture of his car and took his registration.
Yesterday I finally managed to get hold of someone at sweatshop Castleford, after trying the customer services number 03442 459 665 for 4 hours and got no answer. I spoke with Chris Wong Assistant Manager, explained everything that had gone on, he advised me to return one of the parcels, and said the money for the trainers would be refunded however I would have to front the postage myself, and then try and claim this back with sweatshop online for my charge but also the charge my friend incurred on the trainers that were ordered in error by the website. Chris also advised me to make a complaint via Hermes. I had already been trying yesterday to get hold of someone at Hermes but it is impossible to get through, nor can I find an email. I am absolutely disgusted with how I was treat by the man delivering on behalf of Hermes and I will be taking this further.
I am also very disappointed with the customer service of sweatshop and I will deal with them seperately. If there was an opportunity to have cancelled the order made in error by sweatshop, the ordeal yesterday would never have happened. It really shook me up, and I’m not sure what would have happened if my mum hadn’t been with me as a witness. I would like an immediate response by a manager please.
I have posted trainers back today, an am also emailing this letter.
I would like reimbursing for the postage I have paid with my friend receiving full refund for the trainers plus the postage. I would also like a written apology regarding this matter and some sort of compensation to myself and friend for this terrible experience I had yesterday. I would like to know what you are going to do about the man who was verbally and physically abusive to me.

Thank You
Katy Atkinson

Terrible

Terrible. Being polite, I can just say whoever attempted to deliver my parcel
is a complete j*ckass and full of b*llshit.

My parcel was supposed to be arriving today. Fun thing is, they had all fricking day to deliver it but, they decided to come just as I was leaving the office. I want to point out that I got the message stating that Hermes wasn't able to deliver the parcel at 16:31, when I was leaving the office at 16:30. Funnier thing is there is a recepcionist to take in the parcels that arrive and make sure they reach their correspondant. NOT EVEN.

Screw Hermes, for real. If they do the same thing tomorrow I'm gonna be really p*ssed.

Another bad experience

My parcel was showing as delivered to Reception at my work, last Friday when the office was closed. I queried this today on an online chat and the adviser said that it had been delivered. She added that I would need to speak to the retailer whom I placed the order with. Mid afternoon today, the parcel was delivered. I would never use Hermes if there was an option

Horrific experience - do not use this company

Horrific experience. Have spent all afternoon waiting for my delivery (due 1-5pm). At 5.20 tried to call to find out where my package was. That isn't an option, you have to go through their online "help" desk - and finding that on the website is an achievement in itself. I was told to wait until 5pm, erm, its 5.20 already. Oh ok, wait until 8pm. But my package was due by 5 - no justification, response basically tough luck. At 6.30 contacted them again, can you tell me when my package is arriving - equally unhelpful answer - it is on its way. But where is it? "it on its way". At 7.30 got an email to tell me that I hadn't be in so they will try and redeliver in 24 hours - by this time I haven't left my house for six and a half hours. Completely unacceptable - if you are a retailer do not use this company, it will only reflect badly on you.

Unreliable Liars

I get a lot of parcels delivered to a business address... I'd say 90% of the time a package is being delivered by Hermes it doesn't arrive when expected. My favorite thing though is if it's after 5 in the evening (so the business is closed) - They just outright lie about trying to deliver the package. I've been here plenty of times after hours to find no package delivered - however on their tracking site they "attempted delivery" at a time I was still around.

Useless

Knew nothing about a parcel they had …

What a bunch of cowboys.
They just do not care about your parcels.
Knew nothing about a parcel they had delivered until I checked my email. Parcel in paper packaging left out in the open in the rain. No card and only a single email saying "Left securely in outbuilding". That's a lie. We have no out building. Left in open in pooring rain. Why no delivery card? If I had not checked email item will have either been damaged or stolen.

They must pay big commissions

Only god knows why some companies use them, but it can only be because they pay big commissions to those who sign the contract. Otherwise, why would companies destroy their reputations by using these guys.

DO NOT USE!

This is the worst delivery company I have ever known. I first had the terrible experience of using them when I ordered something from Matalan and paid for the next day delivery. The delivery never came and the 'track your parcel' was never updated. At the time I did not take it further because I know something's can't be helped and it was delivered the following day which wasn't an issue. This time I had ordered something from BooHoo and as soon as I got an email saying that Hermes would be delivering the parcel my heart sank. I really needed the item I had brought delivering the next day as paid for and with my last experience I didn't know if this would happen. I kept an eye on the tacking and it was actually updated as it was supposed to be...great!!! I waited in all day checking it regularly to see if there where anymore updates since it was with the driver then to my shock I see that the tried to deliver it 5 minutes ago. Straight away I tried to contact Hermes as I had been in waiting for it all day and no one had tried to deliver the parcel. The customer service I received was by far the worst I think I have ever come across and because there was no contact number on the website so I had to use the live chat. The lady that dealt with my query was no help at all and unable to provide me with any contact number for the company so I could take my complaint further. I clearly explained all of my concerns and how a driver had not even attempted to deliver the parcel and all she did was tell me to take it up with the retailer!?!? This is by far the worst delivery service out there and something needs to be done about it, I have passed my complaint onto BooHoo now and am awaiting a response.
