Difficult to reach but nor worse then other isp's. I had the same experience with almost ALL isp's in belgium.
They do offer the cheapest coax internet available. So once everything is up & running its all good :-).
Be vigilant
Hey! offers some of the best deals on the market, sometimes even “unlimited”. But a few months later (barely!), the offer you subscribed to changes without you even knowing about it.
I strongly advise against this, or at least urge you to be vigilant.
Is it honest to change a subscription from 40gb in Belgium and Europe to only 40gb in Belgium? With 0gb for other European countries, the subscription becomes completely useless...
Is it respectful of consumers' rights to change subscriptions without notifying customers of the change? No mention was made of the situation. I discovered by myself that my data would only be valid in Belgium.
In other respects, I'm not talking about the insidious method of offering no means of limiting consumption. In other words, you can blow your budget if you're not careful. And yet, this is an option offered by many operators.
Hey!, disingenuous and insidious
Ok 18-24, bad for a family. Orange did not inform us about new offers for families.
Good for young 18-24. BUT nothing for families (students inside their family). We are on Orange and "BAD Orange" did not tell us that better prices of summer 2024. We saw ads for Hey and switched; but we were informed about new prices for families with Orange starting at summer 2024.

Worst ISP experience so far
Honestly, disastrous service — wait for technician 3 weeks, comes, changes modem, although it's already noted that modem is not a problem. Trying to explain that traceroute is having 100% packet loss on 3rd hop is something they hear first time in their life. How can this ISP even function is something I cannot understand. Worst service ever, waiting to switch ASAP.
I have now 3 SIM cards with Heytelecom.
In February 6th, 2024 I had to replace my daughter sim card which was not having GSM a contract, just a Orange prepaid. After having filled the new contract request to Heytelecom.be I got a mail a couple of days later, and this was done. Keeping the previous SIM card in the phone and it was working perfect with new contract. Now paying 9 EUR/month since March 2024 and no issue.
In April 2024 I replaced the Orange contrat of my wife with a Heytelecom contract. Paying 23 eur before, and now paying 15 eur with Heytelecom. Change was fast and easy. Running since last year like a charm.
In December 2024 I ordered a new SIM card and new contract (9 eur/month) with Heytelecom to put in a box, providing Wifi in the house. Now installed since a Month and running 24x24x7 with no problem.
Tried to have a contract
I have made my first demand for a contract, got a message saying that my demand would be handled within the first 24h, as 48h later nothing had happened I called them (took a long time before I got someone on the phone) - seems they can't handle eSIM's from Orange - had to call 3 times to have the number accepted - 3 days later it seemed the eSIM number wasn't registered in their system. I cancelled everything.
I went to an Orange shop to transfer to a SIM card which I entered online for a new demand. I got an email stating that my demand would automatically be handled within the 24h. After 48h contacted them via chat (took them 16h to respond!!!) - I got the message that there has been a mistake (no idea which mistake...) and that my demand would be handled within 48h (though that would be on Jan 1st.... so I guess it may be 72h at the very best).
Their customer service is absolutely crap and their website is full of false promises.
I need a subscription just for a few months at the most - that's the only reason I'd go with them. I liked Orange so hoped it would be a similar service, def isn't!
The worst phone provider in the world
Hey! Mobil is hands down the worst telecom company I’ve ever dealt with—and I’ve been to 53 countries. Their customer service is atrocious: it takes at least an hour to get a response, and even then, they avoid answering direct questions. Instead, they bombard you with generic, pre-written messages that have nothing to do with your issue. If you ask for clarification or raise a simple concern, they’ll often stop responding altogether because their priority is meeting response quotas, not actually helping customers.
They lack basic knowledge about their own products and can’t even explain a simple receipt. The service itself is unreliable, particularly outside major towns.
To make matters worse, international calls are not clearly marked as extra charges, so you’ll end up with surprise fees. For example, calls to France and Luxembourg are treated as international, even though their plans claim to offer “illimité” (unlimited) calls and texts. It’s deceptive advertising at its finest.
Their app and website are barely functional—try them yourself, and you’ll see what I mean.
I could list countless other issues, but the bottom line is this: if you want a reliable phone provider, avoid Hey! Mobil at all costs. They’ve scammed me and many others, as you can see from the reviews here on Trustpilot.
No customer service
No customer service ! 2 times I tried to contact them with different issues and they left me waiting for hours without any answer. If I could give 0 stars I would!

Ordered two sim cards in Belgium for…
Ordered two sim cards in Belgium for our family of which only one arrived. It's been two weeks and have not received the other sim card. Their web chat is the only way to contact them but it is unresponsive.
They have no customer support so you don't have a way to fix issues.
'promo for life' is an utter LIE !

suddenly it's gone.
and although it's just 5 euro, it's not about the money.
it's about respecting your customers, and not handle them as a bunch of fools.
we will move away, with all family accounts! (3)
