I find using the internet can be tricky and there were one or two moments I thought I might have got something wrong. I therefore phoned them and spoke to a charming lady who checked everything for me , all was ok. I have been dealing wih another broker for years who has gone to AI, it was horrendous, so I was delighted that Hiscox was still using human beings, full marks ! Highly recommended .

No better than the thieves that steal your kit.
Hiscox refused to payout my business claim after all my equipment was stolen, stating that I had left it unattended, as I was loading my vehicle and it was 20 metres away.
They are no better than the thieves who took it, in fact they are worse, as they pretend to be on your side whilst your paying them.
Utter scum.
Save your money, there's absolutely no point giving it yo Hiscox.

Typical Money-Grubbing
Thought they were fine until it came to cancelling. Forgot I had 2 policies so only requested one to be cancelled.
Rather than understanding my mistake and acknowledging that I'd been with Hiscox for years and years, they wanted me to call in to pay a final ~£10 amount to cover the contracted cancellation period.
Technically correct of course and it's not a lot, but it left a bit of a sour taste after nearly 14 years.
Ah well, should've known that loyalty only ever goes one way...
