I purchased premium nightstands from Homary specifically for the convenience of their built-in wireless charging feature. Unfortunately, the chargers are practically useless and completely defective.
First, the chargers will not work through a standard phone case. You have to pry your case off every single night just to get a connection. Second, even with the case completely removed, the charging speed is laughably bad. I recorded my phone sitting on the charger from 12:05 AM to 6:00 AM, and the battery only went from 15% to 56% in nearly six hours.
When I contacted Homary customer support to return the defective items, the real nightmare began. Instead of processing a straightforward return, their support team utilizes exhausting stalling tactics to make you give up:
The Runaround: They made me wait weeks between emails, only to ask the exact same troubleshooting questions I had already explicitly answered in my previous messages.
Insulting Offers: Instead of providing a return label, they offered me a ridiculous 10% refund to keep the broken items. I had local furniture repair companies look at the nightstands, and I was quoted $280 just to replace the cheap wireless chargers Homary installed! One repairman explicitly told me to return them without hesitation.
Endless Hurdles: after demanding a return, they continue to stall by demanding specific photos of the repacked boxes before they will issue the labels.
If you are considering buying furniture with integrated tech from Homary, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. The products do not work as advertised, and their customer service is designed to exhaust you into keeping defective merchandise. I am now having to escalate this to my credit card company as a chargeback dispute just to get my money back. Avoid this company at all costs!

I have been a Homary customer for a while, but this experience has been very disappointing. I reported an issue with my product several months ago and followed all the required steps, including sending photos and confirming the replacement request.
Although the customer service team was polite and responsive in the beginning, the actual resolution has been extremely slow. I was repeatedly told that the replacement part was “in process,” but despite following up multiple times over the past 5–6 months, I still have not received the replacement.
I appreciate the courteous communication from the support team, but the long delay and lack of progress have caused a lot of inconvenience. I hope Homary improves their after‑sales service and ensures that customers receive timely resolutions, especially when the issue is acknowledged and approved for replacement.
At this point, I am still waiting for the replacement to arrive.
