Dress Arrived Weeks Late

I ordered a gold dress from Homrain and paid $37.99 for expedited 3–8 day shipping because I needed it for a specific event. Unfortunately, the dress didn’t arrive in time — it took several weeks to arrive, long after the event had passed. I reached out to Homrain and explained the situation, including proof that the shipping was delayed, but they refused to refund either the dress or the expedited shipping fee.

The dress itself is low quality, which I expected for the price, but my main concern is that I paid extra for a service (expedited shipping) that wasn’t honored. I eventually had to file a dispute with my credit card company for “service not rendered in time,” which was resolved in my favor. I would not recommend ordering from Homrain if you need your item by a specific date.

Response to homrain: No, it did NOT arrive on time. I paid $35 for it to come within a certain time . It took 3 weeks to arrive. In fact, I got an email saying the shipping was late after my event already happened.

They don't abide by their own return policy

My daughter purchased a few dresses and the sizes were not correct. When she attempted to return the items, this company refused to abide by their own return policy. They offered partial returns and credit, but no refund. Don't trust them.

Horrible customer servixe

Ordered a dress and paid the extra $37.99 for expedited 3-5 day shipping. Ordered online september 18 for an October 4th event. Dress came October 3rd and was very poor quality and was too small for my daughter. Asked to return the dress for a refund (I paid $132.99 for the dress) and they offered me $19 to keep the dress. I declined and then they offered me $39 to keep the dress. Declined again. Finally they said they would escalate my concern to the "escalation department" for a refund. Its been a week and I still don't have any emails nor a return address for sending the dress back

Beautiful dress, terrible return experience

We ordered two dresses for my daughter for homecoming knowing we would need to return one of them. The website states you can make returns but must pay shipping costs. The dresses took weeks longer to arrive than the shipping time stated. They did not arrive in time for her dance. We had to find another option. Homrain has a strange return process. You have to email them and then go through a series of emails where they offer to give you a minimal review or coupons for their website. Terrible return experience that is on going.
The dress quality was very nice and we actually decided to keep one to use next year because it was so beautiful and fully lined.

Your service is horrible

Your service is horrible! It is false advertising to have expedited shipping and not send out as promised and then keep the shipping and insurance from the refund. Do not have an expedited shipping charges if you can't expedite the product! $37.99 shipping +$8.95 for shipping insurance should have guaranteed receiving the dress in time!

Do NOT order from here

What I ordered and what I received were 2 different things. The quality is poor. The beaded skirt is all different lengths, the feathers on the dress in the advertisement are full the dress I received looks like someone plucked a chicken. The outfit cannot be worn.
They say they offer 100% satisfaction and have a full refund policy but getting them to refund is awful. The have tried to offer a 1/4 of what I paid. I have been back and forth on multiple emails. This is not acceptable and I would never order from them again or refer some to order from them.

The dress I bought for my daughter’s…

The dress I bought for my daughter’s formal took weeks to arrive after paying a $26 shipping fee for which said it would arrive in 6-10 days. Once it finally arrived, it was the wrong color and not enough timing for her dance date by this point to return for the right color. One positive thing was that the “wrong” dress we got was very pretty so we settled for it and it did fit perfectly like a glove. When I inquired about it being the wrong color, They said it was a factory error…On top of that, when time to actually get ready for the dance, the zipper kept getting snagging right where the zipper meets at the fabric change at the waist. It would NOT zip up! Finally we had to take the dress off and got it to zip that way and step into it and pull it up by having her shimmy and pull to the death of us to get it on! Of course this caused a tear at the very bottom of the zipper area and luckily we could sew it together while she was wearing it. Going through all of this and panicking by that point late to the dance! We did get a refund but it was nearly $50 less than what we paid for. Do not use this site! Big headache ! Edit: once they read my review, they offered an extra $10 or a $15 coupon and actually asked me to take my review down! What kind of company would ask that of an unhappy customer?! That shows the sort of company we’re dealing with… I ignored this and will never correspond with them again…

They promised a refund of 20%

They promised a refund of 20%. Never received it and it‘s been a year now. During that time, i Write emails to them and they always told me that they forwarded the mail to the escalation team. Never heard anything. OH and before that, funny thing, they told me that they refunded me and it should be on my bank soon. Almost forgot that part of the story. Promising and even stating that a refund was proceeded, then lying and now ignoring.
I asked for a refund because of the shipping. I paid for express which would have taken 7-15days. Express costed me extra. Well, it arrived after more than a month.
Never again! Never got to wear that dress and I think it‘s better off buying somewhere else.

Update: they offered a coupon instead of the refund which was apparently already processed months ago.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware! Pictures of product are not accurate representation of what is received. Contact their customer service, and they will not refund your money with a return and instead try to get you to accept a meager portion of the cost or a coupon code.
