The dress was for our granddaughter's…

The dress was for our granddaughter's Homecoming dance we paid the extra to get it here in plenty of time, but it didn't of course and when it did it was ugly and wouldn't zip easily it would get snagged in the middle. The school did however have to change the date because of Helene coming. But we emailed Homrain several times back in forth trying to get a full refund except for the dang shipping which it wouldn't had been here in time anyways. It has been 3 weeks and still no refund. Please don't order from them

They do not respond to refund requests

They do not respond to refund requests! Funny that they are fast to respond to other questions and then offered me 10% of what I paid for the dress. It was $150! No way. The dress was cheap, no tags
On it, not what the pictures looked like at all.

Complete scam. Dress didn't even have tags and was not as described.

The dress was not as described, no tags, unacceptable to wear. Dress was never used after receipt. Upon request for refund, various tiny amounts were offered. When finally offered a full refund, the dress was sent, postage paid by me, with photos of the dress, a tracking number, and pictures of receipts. I was refunded $10 of ~ $161 and now there is no response about the remainder of the refund weeks later.

do not trust- they will not respond to your refund requests

I ordered a dress that was supposed to arrive quickly but it took too long and did not arrive in time so I could not use it. I immediately contacted the company two weeks before the dress was intended to arrive to let them know and received a reply that they would gladly refund me upon shipping the dress back. I did everything they asked including sending a picture of the dress in perfect condition (unopened) with the receipt, tracking number, and never received a reply. I have emailed the support email address that they provided three times since they had received the dress and still haven't received a response.

Horrible

First, shipping was NOT 6-10 days but took 3 weeks. Then the dress was absolutley terrible quality. Then, after reading the return policy, I had 7 days to return from delivery. I contacted them on day 4, 5, and 6 with zero response. Please do NOT order from them

If you want to be scammed

Not only was one of the dresses I purchased cheap shiny plastic, when I tried to return and get a refund they came back three different times with other options that were unacceptable. The fourth time they finally said they would give me a full refund. I paid $25 to ship the dresses back. They got the dresses almost three weeks ago now and they refuse to answer any of my emails and I have not been refunded and now out over $200. Suspiciously my debit card had a $500 fraud charge afterwards as well. Horrible customer service, and a scam.

DO NOT ORDER!!

DO NOT ORDER!!! I ordered my daughters HOCO dress on Sept.13th...paid 17.99 plus shipping insurance to receive it within 6-10 business days. What a JOKE! It is now October 1st and chances are the dress will not arrive in time for the dance. Now we will be stuck paying for another dress and probably won't get any of our money back. I hVe written several times, but honestly I have no faith in the responses I have received. We will never buy from this company again...shady shipping shenanigans, and unfulfilled promises. Thanks so much to Homrain for absolutely nothing! Fingers crossed it will arrive by This Thursday...14 days after ordering and paying extra for shipping. SO FRUSTRATING!!!

Do not buy from this site…

My daughter received her hoco dress and it is not at all like the picture. The fabric is seriously cheap, very poor quality. Do not believe the dresses are “made to order” as they indicate elsewhere. It is clearly mass-produced in a factory. I emailed to return but probably will not be able to based on the returns I read on-line. We missed our 7 day window due to hurricane Helene here in FL. I’m not optimistic about getting any money back. I wish my daughter read the reviews before purchasing. Awful.

Don't order from this company

Don't order from this company. We received our item & were not satisfied. We requested a return for a full refund within the seven day timeline as stated in their refund policy. They offered a 10% refund and to keep the item. I saw others complain of this, so when I requested the refund I specifically ask they not do this and just send the return info. They still did. I'm sure it will be weeks before we can return if they ever do it. They will not provide a phone number either. Save your time and money.

Do NOT order from Homrain

Do NOT order from Homrain. I ordered my daughter’s HOCO dress and received it in the time frame I needed. However, the dress fits horribly - the top is way too big and falls off her shoulders, the bottom is super tight and rolls up. This dress would become a belt if we kept it - embarrassing for a 15 year old!
I never received an email confirming order or anything but what PayPal recorded.
I emailed for a refund. They responded offering 10% off (what a joke).
I emailed again asking for a full refund. They responded with how about either 30% off or store credit?
I responded again with NO I WANT MY MONEY BACK PLEASE.
Now I have to get my credit card company involved to get my money back.
Don’t waste your time or money with this shady, untrustworthy company. I wish I would’ve read these reviews before ordering!

Misleading Policies

DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER WITH THIS ONLINE STORE!!!!
My granddaughter placed an order for a homecoming dress on 09/12/24 with express shipping which was 2-3 days for an additional $17.99. When my daughter inquired about the shipping information she was informed that the it talked 7-10 days for the the order to be processed and then the express shipping would be available.
This information was not clearly stated when the order was placed. Due to the dress not being shipped in time for Homecoming the order had to be cancelled and a different dress had to be purchased. When my daughter cancelled the order and inquired about a refund they stated they would only refund 50% and the express shipping.
This is INSANE when a company fails to be transparent on their policies. Taking advantage of our young adults during a time in their lives when they should not be targeted as easy prey for financial gain.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This was a terrible experience with terrible customer service. We ordered a dress in 2 sizes for my daughter. The dresses did not fit her as they were too short. They offered us a discount to keep the dresses. After numerous emails back and forth about discounts for keeping the dresses we didn’t want, they understood we wanted to get a refund and said to send the items back and they would issue a refund. We paid to ship the dresses back with tracking as they instructed and they have since ghosted us with no response or email updates when asked. We can see the item was returned and we they have still not refunded our $250. And of course there is no number to call only email!

AWFUL

If I could give 0 stars I would! The dress we ordered was too big. I tried to get information to send it back and they don't have a return policy (shame on me for not checking this out). I had to contact them multiple times before they said that I could send the one I had back and they would give me 100% off coupon. I had to jump through a lot of hoops to meet their return requirements. They have had the dress back now for over a week and I have sent 2 emails and NO RESPONSE. They stole $130. My daughter doesn't have a homecoming dress for her Senior year and I have never been so sad at how rotten people/company's can be! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!

I gave them a 2 because the dress we…

I gave them a 2 because the dress we received was gorgeous. We contacted them a couple days after receiving due to the dress being too small. All I wanted was a refund and to send dress back so I could order correct size. They emailed me twice with offers of keeping the dress and receiving a partial refund. The dress is too small so it does me no good. They have since stopped communication. I'm so sad because the dress really is wonderful, just needed it bigger.

Received completely wrong item!

I was sent the completely worng dress- wromg size, color and style - then what I ordered. I was out of town when package arrived so as missed the 7 day cut off, Homrain said I could not return.

Scam. No customer care!!!

I bought a dress, which didn’t fit right and want to send it back. They never respond on email and there’s no customer care. It’s a scam!!!! I’m pretty stressed out to get in contact with them! Bought in may, no response in may June July

Most interesting detail is that everybody got a reaction on their review by Homrain. Not even one did change their review by…’ after having contact, we found a solution. ‘ On my review they even forgot to react. No reaction so far. But if,… I definitely let you know. Terrible!

Terrible!! Do not order anything from this company. They do not give refunds and try to bargain with you on the amount they are willing to refund (10% of purchase amount) . They do not honor their refund policy whatsoever. I ordered a dress for my daughter that was not at all as pictured and POOR quality. I did not get my money back despite being within the 7 day returns window

Beware, scam  alert

horrible customer service, I did not receive the jacket that was supposed to be part of the three-piece suit for the prom. This was their mistake and it ruined my son's prom. We were forced to look for a backup at the last minute, which cost me more money. They tried offering me 20% discount or a partial refund. PayPal has already resolved the issue by giving me a full refund, but that's not what I wanted. I just wanted the jacket to complete the full set. It took them almost two months to respond to me, which is unacceptable. I tired leaving a review on their website and they blocked my email some how but it sending me a code that never appeared in my email. Such a horrible experience. All they needed to do was send me the jacket, and everything would have been resolved. Instead, they took several weeks to respond and wasted my time by asking for proof, and even after I provided it, they still did not resolve the issue. Beware of this scam
