I booked a self-catering cottage for me and a bunch of friends, but I made a mistake and I accidentally reserved the wrong week. A quick call with the customer service sorted it out. No extra charge. Helpful rectification. Thank you very much

Hot tub was great
Nice place ,very friendly couple who run the place

The site had many abandoned caravans.
The bed linen and towels were well below Hoseasons normal standards and as we are regular customers expect better.
We had to ask for towels.The quilts were not clean and the covers were clean but very old.
The bin store is a haven for vermin with overflowing bins and loose bags dumped.
The caravan was new with decent decking and new paving for parking and you can see the owner is trying to improve the site but a bit of weeding and a power wash of some of the old vans wouldn’t go wrong until they can be replaced.
The site is very remote and enough provisions for you stay is essential as the shop has very little in stock. Its a 45 min journey on single track roads to a decent supermarket.
The surrounding area is a haven for fishing and wildlife, if that is your priority then you may find it more suitable than we did.
We booked at short notice,were attracted by the price and reasonable distance from the central belt of Scotland.
We expected better from Hoseasons.

Stayed in one of the garden lodges, very nice layout and all mod cons, raised decking area complete with hot tub which was so nice (and we used it every day) with a fantastic view of the countryside and sea, nice and quiet, the bar and restaurant fairly standard food very nice, staff very friendly and helpful.

Had a great freshly made pizza from the mobile pizza van on Wednesday loverly couple who run it

Only problem was with the double bed mattress so hard found it difficult to sleep and had to use the single beds which were much better my suggestion would be to either fit bed toppers as standard or have them available when asked for

The site was wonderful and the Lodge was spotless, I would certainly recommend choosing a Hoseasons holiday.

Lodge immaculate but poor or no phone signal & lack of proper instructions to use heating, oven or microwave.

Handler confirmed my booking with no delays. She was professional, polite but very pleasant to deal with

Good company. We’ve been holidaying with Hoseasons for over 20 years. Lodges are always furnished to a high standard. Comfortable and you always know what to expect. Hot tubs are amazing

Relaxing during weekdays bit noisier at weekend. Safari Lodge a little tired but still worth the money.
