SUPPORT HAS UNIQUE SKILL
If you want support that answers you once every 5-12 hours, even for high-priority tickets, then you're in the right place!!. Most hosting or server companies respond way too fast—competitors typically reply within 30 minutes!! This is unacceptable!! Only this server company has the special, unique skill to make you wait 5-12 hours for a "VERY CLEVER" response!!. This is an incredibly amazing skill.
Luckily, there is another unique skill, that their technical support is just panel operators, not real experienced SysOps. They don't even know how to fix SSH problems. When the "Terminal" feature in your cPanel can't be accessed, the team just says things like "it works on my machine." WOW! Very amazing support!! I can't believe the level of uniqueness is BEAST!! Highly recommended if you want madness!!
I VERY VERY RECOMMEND this server company to your rival, enemy, competitors, or even your stupid ex!! That way, they can go to the psychiatric hospital or rehabilitation center soon!

HostMantis support is excellent and fast! I have used HostMantis for 2.5 years and have needed support only 10 times. Each time they have been fast and accurate. At their low prices, I was prepared for slower response time. I have been pleasantly surprised.
Having used HostGator and, early on, GoDaddy, I looked for and found this inexpensive hosting service. I've been pleased with their stability and customer service.
Possibly the worst hosting company today
I help my customers with basic website maintenance and marketing. Hostmantis has become a pile of buggy, unmanageable servers ( I am being polite). Websites are down for days. Support struggles with everything. Do not use Hostmantis if you value your website.

The option to create new accounts doesn't appear
The problem is that I can't access the reseller because the option to create new accounts doesn't appear.
After waiting several weeks for the answer, today the only thing they answered me was:

I can't believe it, I waited patiently for several weeks and today there is no solution and they answer this.

Lousy service and offline for days
Unfortunately, after the sale of HostMantis, the support became unsustainable, a long response time and always with answers without technical content and very simple.
I've been a long time customer, I've always loved Host Mantis, the speed, support and especially the loading time of sites with litespeed servers.
The crucial reason for cancellation was the server crash, offline for more than 30 hours, this is unacceptable for a hosting service like Host Mantis

Our websites have been down now for 2 days with no access to C - panel. All our tickets raised have come back with a generic response, nothing to address the issue or give an incline as to what is actually happening with the servers so there is a huge possibility that our client websites are gone with all the data. This is absolutely ridiculous !!!!!!

Too many outages in period, and it takes long time to react/work on the trouble.
Not worth the hassle
If you're looking for a host with good customer support, then best to look somewhere else. We signed up with the migration request which is advertised as a service on their website, but after 3 days of being passed to a separate support agent on each ticket and very little progress made have given up.
We were also ignored when requesting the plan be cancelled which says all you need to know!

To be honest ..I am surprised to see so many bad reviews.
I ve been with HostMantis for over a year, tried 1 Entry and 2 Advanced shared hosting plans till now with servers in EU/London and Direct Admin cause it is a lot cheaper than cPanel ..and I have to say my experience has been great so far.
The servers are super fast.
The resources are generous and stable.
The support is limited to emails ..but it is fast nonetheless - still not the friendliest or most helpful around.
Truth is that some years back I started off with a really good experience on another hosting company ..but on the way it all changed, servers got bloated and it all became eventually a nightmare.
Hope this will not repeat.

Continuously increasing service prices
Arbitrarily increasing the service price by 25% without any improvement in service quality. They also removed customer discount codes being applied on the service. Customer support is very bad. Stay away from this provider!
Price Increase
Price Increase. Everyone knows cPanel has raised prices, so hosting companies have to pass it on. But, HostMantis raised prices by almost 100%. As the cPanel price increase is nothing close to 100% and effects mostly reseller accounts, which my hosting isn't, this is just a huge price increase for no reason.

UPDATE: Read this before order from them:
As a speed, maybe they are good (attention, not the best, and still have a lot to implement and configure), but the support and the way you are treated, leaves something to be desired. It treats you badly and it's hard to answer your tickets. I find it crazy that we had a 25% PERMANENT, but every year all the products are still refreshed. It's trivial. Look for another more serious host, for example, RackNerd.

Good hosting
I found hostmantis on some forum related to hosting when they posted some offer around 2 or 3 years ago. i signed up just because it was super cheap and i didn't have any expectations. But i got a reliable hosting with good speeds. I didn't face any down time or issues.
However, as promised they didn't continue the life time promotion offer. In offer i got for $10 USD per year for life, now i it got increased to around $70 USD. Still it is worthy and i am happy to continue.

We've used Hostmantis for many years SLOW websites
We've used Hostmantis for many years, we orginally started with a promotion. Slowly they cancelled our promotion packages, now they have started throttling SSD packages down to SLOW the speed of website the entire I/O is very very slow.
If you have more than 5 or 10 visitors looking at your website at the same time, it will take forever to load. The service is impolite and can be arrogant at times.
No use of SSD if they choke the I/O down and pile on everybody on the same server. I hope they truly improve their service.
Update:
The point is that the NVME claims SSD are useless if the IOPS are throttled heavily.
We barely have 10 to 30 visitors a DAY, and if those visitors complain about the load speeds then its a poor experience. My IT person has doublechecked and found it to be slower than the previous packages.

Unprofessional Hostmantis employees profile customers as Fraud (Non-Existent CRM)
Yesterday the 18th of March 2021 I decided to sign up for the entry hosting with Hostmantis and I got the error message that my card was declined twice (although my card had no issues).I tried to pay by paypal, and even that did not work.But I got an email from them that my account was created.So I logged in with the link provided but my order was flagged as "Fraud" which was shocking. It said explicitly "This hosting package is currently Fraud" So I opened a ticket and "Ticket ID: 830026] Card Declined-Labeled my domain name as Fraud"
The point of this review is that Hostmantis has discriminated me as a fraud without giving any reason before I even had a chance to purchase their product.Who do they think they are to label decent people as fraud?Who are you to profile us?Are you the FBI?Show me what evidence you have that I'm a fraud and how I have defrauded your company?There was nothing wrong with my bank card when I called the bank.Please let the readers here know what made you reach your twisted decision?
