Houzz UK Reviews 

This company is a big scam. My wife agreed to pay pro subscription for a year. We were promised a review after a year to analyse effectiveness and whether it was worth resubscribing. Needless to say it was not worth resubscribing and a big waste of over £3000. However, we weren’t informed the year was up and we weren’t offered the review. We contacted them after a year but they ignored us. They then auto subscribed us for a further year, and now refuse any cancellation. UK consumer act 2015 states they must inform users of auto renewal in good time and offer opportunity to cancel but they did not and now insist we have a further year to pay. We’ve taken legal advice but we warned, this company is a complete scam, they offer zero genuine leads, the majority are bots that don’t reply, then the fix you in for a further year. Use you ad budget on a proper lead generator or Facebook adds. Please don’t make the same mistake we did, this company is a massive scam. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

EDIT: thanks for the stock reply you send to all the people you have scammed. I’ve been trying to speak to someone in your team for weeks now but no one cares to respond, needless to say once I post this reply you won’t bother following up. The majority of leads you provide are bots that don’t reply (obviously, they’re bots). You also auto renew for 12 months with no reminders and make it impossible to cancel. We tried to cancel and you ignored us until the cooling off period had expired. How convenient. I implore anyone reading this and considering signing up to Houzz Pro to please avoid. Don’t make the same mistake we did, it has cost us a fortune for absolutely nothing and they still won’t cancel our subscription!!

I had a very negative experience with a builder which Houzz has failed to publish.
It seems a platform to only support positive reviews on the tradespeople that pay them which in the long run with harm Houzz reputation. I have tried contacting them and following their standard response but they fail to support or give further details. I also showed my response to a lawyer in case it was of nature that shouldn’t be posted online but it was fine and a genuine experience. If houzz respond they should provide a genuine e-mail

As expected, Houzz took payment from our account, even after we asked to cancel the subscription. There is no communication about auto-renewal before Houzz ties customers to another 12-month contract. Is this an acceptable practice?  
After the first renewal payment, we contacted our Relationship Manager at Houzz. She sent us the auto-renewal terms. Since then, there have been no further communications. They have taken a further two monthly payments.

We have reported this practice to Trading Standards. In response, we have now filed a case with Resolver.co.uk to support our complaint. Can't believe a company can offer this disgraceful service.

I'm glad I signed up to Houzz Pro. It provides me with the systems and processes that I need to run my studio in a slick and professional way.
My representative, Grant Clark, has been friendly, efficient and supportive as he and his colleagues onboarded me and got me set up with Houzz Pro. He has also found and organised a photoshoot for my latest project, which was a real help.
Definitely the right decision to sign up!

Houzz deleting or not publishing poor reviews and then blaming customers who have a bad experience with their suppliers, should have done more research is a cop out.
Houzz should state clearly on their website that they don’t publish poor reviews or remove all the reviews as they do not reflect the integrity and quality of services the company’s they represent and favour.

Lizzie is friendly and very easy to talk to and has suggested helpful tips that I have implemented, I look forward to working with her more.

Houzz has been extremely useful in taking my practice further, securing new business and managing projects.
Made easy by my account manager Stephanie Hayes who is always available to discuss any issues and provide tips on moving things forward. Highly recommend.

They will run over your request of cancelling the subscription- to which you never agreed on renewing in the first place, with the promise of a call from the account manager, which never calls. Management is simply a mess. They will also remove your job pictures the business is entitled to use for marketing purposes simply because the client, that had agreed to the pictures and the photoshoot, then decides he no longer want to pay for the services you have provided and no longer wants his pictures published. My company has provided all necessary evidences to Houzz support and they still refuse to return my photographs. In the meantime, other Pro’s are happily using the photos from the same photoshoot I paid for! Completely biased and do not listen to any evidences paying Pro’s have (My company pays over £300 for this mess!)

We hired an architect firm using Houzz who were publishing a 5 star. But the experience we had was awful from BCA in Cumbria
I trusted the reviews to be honest and informative so my wife and I could have our retirement home extended with confidence. Instead BCA made mistakes and excuses and with higher costs. Passing building work that was incomplete, even the JST was poorly put together. How can Houzz do this, why are they not reflecting a true picture of their client's mmm think I just answered my own question.. I wasn’t a paying client of Houzz BCA are…… to houzz reply: thank for your reply .. but if your not publishing the negative reviews then it gives a false reality and reflection of a service through your great concept model. I understand I should look at more references but is this to say “ don’t trust Houzz reviews and awards as they never publish bad ones ? Houzz is t to blame … but it doesn’t help when only publishing 5 star reviews … this really should be stated at the beginning so customers are aware not to trust the reviews

Houzz delete negative reviews, they do not verify FAKE reviews left on their traders accounts. I have attempted to leave a review of a rogue trader 3 times,for a trader who gives false qualifications and copies photos from the internet and posts them on his website as his own work, who posts fake reviews for himself, and every time, Houzz remove them. The people who paying them are protected by Houzz, allowing the general public to be ripped off by cowboys. Houzz are unprincipled and very unreliable. Do not believe a word they say.
As you can see from the response from Houzz, they have just spat out the usual line about Houzz policy. Therefore, I can confirm that Houzz are happy to post FAKE reviews as part of their 'policy'... genuine reviews are not allowed. So as long as that's clear to everyone! Houzz are crooks and allow crooks to use their site, as long as they are paying.

Do not do business with them, months later I'm still trying to get free of them; I've had to resort to cancelling the business bank card the account is linked too!

I signed up for Houzz Pro for a year with it not be to renewed after, so I could decide IF I wanted to continue, communication with my 'client success manager' is a joke, emails go unanswered, and they can't seem to actually make or schedule calls, or call on the platform agree to use (Like an actual phone)
Then I find my subscription has been renewed without my agreement, I've tried cancelling by emailing my success manager, emailing the address hidden in the terms and conditions, contacting there help department. Nothing, now being threatened with their collection department.

Lucie has been fantastic help, teaching me the items available to use on Houzz and providing advice about the best things to do for my profile. Her patience has been exemplary and she has been very fast to respond and find out information regarding any queries.

Houzz pro is such a great marketing and project interface concept for architects in the private residential sector. I’ve been a subscriber for over many years now and have seen some exceptional improvements from the original software and service provision.
My main contact, Stephanie Hayes is an exceptional account manager and has helped me without question pretty much all the way through my journey with Houzz. Highly recommend to other architects especially if a sole trader and in need of a professional site with many added bonuses that one would pay for outside of This site.
