As a Garden designer there aren't many platforms out there from which we can reliably advertise our services. Houzz educates and inspires its users to ensure a fairly steady stream of varied projects which are crucial to any garden design business especially fledgling ones.

Fell for the chat and signed up for a year. Was indundated with enquiries outside of our catchment area, which took time and effort to work through. All seemed positive, though. Our 'rep' contacted us before renewal after the first year and offered us a reduced price, which seemed worthwhile, so we went for a second year. After the two years, however, we had no contact from anyone until we realised that money had been taken from our account without notification. We had decided that we no longer needed the paid subscription, and queried this, asking to cancel the subscription, only to find that we are trapped in a contract paying an extortionate monthly fee for little to no quality leads. Of 170 enquiries, thus far, only five have gone past enquiry stage, and at time of writing, only two have resulted in physical work.
Houzz are very clever at the sell, but then it all goes off a cliff. They are unable (whatever the reps claim) to tailor enquiry areas to your designated area, and their tools and leads systems are at best baffling to understand.
We are trapped for a year in an unwanted and unhelpful contract which feels like a scam. Avoid them at all costs, or put reminders on your phone to cancel them 30 days before renewal.

The unprofessional behavior of the staff is regrettable, and unfortunately, it seems that Houzz prioritizes their profits over their clients. Inquiries or requests for assistance may require additional effort to schedule a call with an account manager, and even then, it is not uncommon for the manager to miss scheduled meetings with excuses such as sickness, vacation, or excessive workload.

While it is true that Houzz can provide leads and potential clients, it is worth noting that a significant percentage of these leads may not be responsive or may only offer small, low-budget projects. Only a fraction of these leads may have the potential to be good for one's business. Considering the amount of money one has to pay for Houzz's services, which typically involves an annual contract worth £5,200, it is up to individual business owners to determine whether it is worth the investment.

Based on our experience with Houzz over the past year, we have come to realize that investing in more trustworthy methods, such as Facebook and Instagram advertisements, can yield better results. We have since shifted our focus to these platforms, and the outcomes have been significantly more positive.

Well from marketing site i am really pleased, Houzz build the website for me thats a huge plus, I’m receiving messages nearly every day. Soo far only a month past soo hard to predict how the things will go. I am always thinking positive and i know thats nothing similar to other websites i wont be giving names. But if the lead will come thru that would be a grate opportunity to reach higher class customers. Fingers crossed.Soo far all good i’m happy

We recently joined Houzz Pro to make our projects more visible to Houzz visitors.
As new members of the community, we have received a client onboarding specialist. Lucie is very professional and friendly in helping us understand how the platform works and how we can improve our online presence. She is always available to answer my questions and provide creative ideas.

Finding it very difficult to leave a 1 star review for a building contractor.

Is it rigged???

They were hacked in 2019. My details were stolen. I found out recently via a completely unrelated check of whether my email and associated password was on the dark Web.

I asked them to delete my account. Its now 2 weeks since I made the request and it is not actioned.

Houzz doesn't care about your GDPR rights, so be very wary using this magazine on line.

Using Houzz Pro has really helped my business and me to be more organized. It’s a bit difficult to navigate sometimes but the tutorial videos help. The support team is also quite responsive. They help with any issues I face within few hours sometimes. I’m happy with Houzz pro and I highly recommend!

Glorified con artists. I joined houzz for over £200 a month to increase leads for my business. I have updated regularly, and still never had a job. I have had 3 enquiries. It took me a long time to get through to someone regarding cancelling my contract. Which they said they'll call me back, they then over run into they renewed my 12 month contract without me agreeing. I get bombarded with spam emails from them without anyone actually putting any effort into me increasing leads or improving my profile. Expensive and completely useless. It has cost me over £6k and caused me no end of financial problems. Avoid at all cost!!!

I want to give negative 5 stars. Do not trust this platform because they love to hide negative comments and are happy to promote dishonest and immoral cowboys on their websites. I am too stupid to trust their review and hired a cowboy, M&Ms Construction Ltd, who did my bathroom and kitchen by himself, one person only; charged approximately £15000 (materials were not included) who had not been qualified with electricity and gas at all, damaged my solar system when he changed the fusebox, leaving unfinished doors and walls, damaged boiler, mess around with hot and cold water pipes, suggesting fire alarms which were not necessary......... causing me approximately £3000 extra and over 6 months to fix all the damages that he did.

They filtered my genuine negative review of a designer that didn’t complete the job. The review contained zero profanity or personal insults. They provided no reason why they filtered it and gave no option to appeal. If they operate in this way then you can’t trust the reviews on their site or the designers that use it.

I join in houzz to grow my company
Since almost 4 months now, I haven’t received a call from customers so don’t waste your money with this company because I waste a lot of money That time I was struggling to fit my family
I asked them please give me my money back at least this money I can enjoy that with my family. 😡😡😡

Update: I have spoke to the support team, they made up a lie about the review to get it removed. I am starting to question the legitimacy of this business.

Great platform for property and design professionals. I feel really looked after, my membership success manager, Jessica, is always ready to help. Regular meetings with her are productive and she always comes up with new suggestions and advice how to use the website tools and improve the visibility of my business .

sadly we have not had a great experience with HOUZZ PRO, we signed up under the impression we were going to be targeted to certain areas in the city, this has certainly not been the case, had a meeting set up with someone to help us in terminating our contract due to not getting what we were sold and asking to make a complaint, we missed it and immediately rebooked, no one showed up to this meeting, we immediately asked to reschedule, we had no response, we then got a response asking to reschedule. Before we could reply saying the date and time was not suitable we had already received an email invitation to that meeting, i quickly responded again asking for the complaints procedure and to terminate contract and for full refund, we have yet to receive a reply despite me sending several emails. i cannot find a complaint help section anywhere on the website. really not happy about our experience and will be taking this further.

I was Unsure if the company was safe, so I used a unique email specifically for them only.
I have received a spoof / phishing email asking me to click a link, pretending to be from Currys saying I've won a Makita drill (which Currys dont sell), but the email address it has been sent to is the unique one used for the Houzz registration. So either they are the source of the attack or there's someone working there breaching security.

The support from the team is wonderful. Houzz pro is a great tool especially for a new business, as everything is on hand from client database, cad system and much more, as well as helping to built your website. Highly recommended
