Good products for the value, but poor customer support.
Long-time user and promoter of Hunt. The DTC price was appealing and the customer service used to be great. I had read some quality reviews, but me and my brother has not experienced this.
Recently I needed to contact the company to buy a new part for the wheel and ask a question. The attempt to contact Hunt was a uniquelly bad experience. There is no phone number and you have to schedule a call days ahead of time to get a simple question answered. The website says there is a live chat function during business hours, but it's clearly not staffed. I eventually got my need addressed, but it would have taken a human 2 minutes to answer the question and I had to pay shipping that I could have avoided by simply picking it up at their office close by.
Updated Sept 19. Hunt reached out directly and made the issue right and let me know that will action the feedback with the US team. Upstanding review because this is a gesture or good customer service.

Thank you for placing a review of your recent Livechat spares interaction with us and sorry to hear that you did not have a great experience using our chat bot whilst out of UK business hrs which we cover, we do also have a US Rider Experience agent who is online for set hrs in the US which are indicated on the US website.
In addition we do have a knowledge base section to our site which does have all the information that was being requested.
That said, we completely take your feedback on board and will certainly look to increase the manned hrs that we cover to best serve our ever growing rider population.
All of our Rider Experience team are actual bike riders with real world experience who are here to help serve via email, chat and telephone.

So glad I finally purchased my Hunt Trailwides. Going from a Marin stock wheelset to these is like riding a different bike. Biggest improvement I have found to lighten up my bike and make it faster and climb better.

There was no questions. Hunt just sent me a whole new wheel. I only expected a new rim. That as a very nice surprise so I didn't need to buy new spokes and build a new wheel

The hunt proven enduro carbon wheels are great. Trying to communicate with a Hunt employee through the chat function is difficult. It’s to bad because I like the wheels but I will be going elsewhere for my next set.
