I did think ipvanish worked really well…but beware

I did think ipvanish worked really well I did actually like it very much. But I had a problem when I came to cancel my subscription. I don't like dealing with company that make it very difficult to end a subscription and decide to trap people when they want to cancel.

Didn't work with firestick I have

I've heard it's a good vpn. I don't know that for a fact because it didn't work with the firestick that I have. I cancelled my monthly subscription.

While the service itself is fine

While the service itself is fine, I cannot give it more than 1 star due to shady subscription policy. My subscription period is about to end in a month time and I wanted to avoid the issues others report here. But no way it works.
First, I got an email informing about new period starting soon and I will get invoiced, although I had auto-prolongation setting off long ago. When I saw the price for next period was tripled for me, I wanted to cancel the subscription as I should be able to do anytime. I got a discount offer without numbers but percentage of unknown base. When I took the ping in a bag to see what happens, I didn’t get any update on the web page over new sums. Still old sums, When I tried not to take the offer and still cancel upcoming subsection, I got an error of course, every time. So convenient just give user an error. By the way, it was exactly the same 2 years ago!
Additionally, you cannot cancel your payment data. It’s there for their exposure.
When I contacted support, they didn`t reply to me. I waited over an hour.
Good that they have old card data so they cannot charge actually.

What a shady way to make business -reply to vocal ones and keep rest in prison. Instead of replying me a stamp AI reply, please rather post how you plan to stop this madness for everyone.

Please Read The Fine Print, Buyer Be Aware!

I canceled my subscription before the due date and still charged $109. You have 30 days from original contract to cancel or pay forever! Then they tried to sell me a subscription for $38, if I don't use the service why would I pay? This is ridiculous! I never heard of not being able to cancel a subscription! DO NOT BUY!!

I have had IPVanish for quite a few years now if I ever have any issues they are definitely on top of it and make everything run smoothly really fast. I like that are a caring company and only want the best for you!

Went to cancel my subscription before my renewal and the support denied my request and is stating its their policy to charge a customer even though the client has requested a cancellation.
