I would like to thank Hayley and Meghan at the Guiseley practice for dealing with the purchase and sale of 2 properties.
They were very professional and always answered any questions promptly.
They also would meet us face to face and supply paper copies of documents for those who are not very "techy".
They even let us use a spare office to complete documents.

A very efficient conveyancing service received from from Ison Harrison. I was able to do most things electronically and could get help when required by email and phone. Many thanks to Louise Brear and James Pascoe for helping with all aspects of sale and purchase.

Jolene Briggs from the Skipton office handled our conveyancing expertly and at pace. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. Jolene was knowledgeable and helpful throughout, responding to queries promptly and providing information clearly and in detail. What stood out most was how proactive Jolene was and how we never had to chase for an update. We would highly recommend.

I used the Leeds branch for the sale of my property. Reeva Begum was outstanding and also Natalie Clayton. If I rang them for anything they were fantastic at ringing back within 5/10 minutes. Really great service and everything very efficient. All paperwork dealt with by email so easy to complete everything without a visit to the office.

I used this solicitors to try and purchase an apartment in Selby.

This dragged on for 14 Months before I had no choice to pull out from the purchase.

I would like to say the experience I have had dealing with you has been absolutely terrible.

A constant lack of information and the reply time is shocking. It even took them a week to get back to me regarding the final payment, kind of says it all really.

The fact that they said they would be happy to represent me in any future purchases made me laugh out loud, I'm sure you would you've just earned over a grand to fail at what I hired you to do.

I will not be using your services again, and I would suggest that you think hard before using this companies services.

I cannot recommend Ison Harrison highly enough, especially the exceptional service from Ben Kenworthy and Charlotte Spink in the Garforth branch. Despite a stressful situation with a difficult seller on our onward purchase, they handled our sale with speed and professional excellence.

Throughout this emotional rollercoaster, Ben and Charlotte were fast, efficient, and incredibly communicative. I want to reserve the highest praise for Charlotte Spink. She was more than just a conveyancer; she became a supportive friend and a true champion for our interests, acting as a real advocate for us during a tough time. She was remarkably attentive, answering every call and email promptly, and relentlessly chased every channel to ensure things kept moving.

We had the pleasure of using the legal services of Gaz from the Leeds office. He supported my with a motoring offence where prosecution was a an option. We had great communication from Gaz and he provided clear advice. He attended the police station after business hours to support my son with his interview. We felt reassured by the advice and his presence during the whole process. He was great with my son and this helped. Thankfully no further action was taken by the police.

I made an online enquiry to discuss some legal assistance. I then followed this up by phoning them to check they had received my request. They confirmed they had, that it had been passed to the correct department, and that someone would be in contact. I have heard nothing. Disappointing.

Not really great legal representation if you're unfamiliar with the territory. They don't exactly explain much about the process to you or give you any tangible advice. It's all very cut-and-dry and they don't make any effort to help you understand the process you're paying them to help you with

Ison Harrison provided a smooth and stress-free experience from start to finish. Leashia C was prompt, proactive, and kept everything on track, completing our sale ahead of the expected date. Thanks to her efficiency, we were able to move into our new home just in time for Christmas. We’re really happy with the service and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Charlotte and her team provided an exceptional service. I have used quite a few solicitors for conveyancing in the past and Ison Harrison were by far the best in my experience. I highly recommend them.

The service is non existent. We have called and emailed endless times asking for a completion statement for a property sale that they handled for us. We have no paperwork for our company. Even a formal complaint to customer services has been ignored. How incompetent can you be?

They need to train there family solicitors to tell the truth in court and not lie...

These type of people can ruin live's...

Fortunately the solicitor got found out for being an inept liar...

Hayley and Megan were very caring, considerate and professional. This was very much appreciated because we last moved 42 years ago and had to ask a lot of questions about the process.
Communication by email or phone was very efficient. All the way to completion we were kept updated.

We hired Ison Harrison on about the 8/9 July 2025 to do probate for my wife's deceased brother a few days after the first meeting we handed over the death certificate since July we have had no updates from the solicitors office .We have telephoned them seven times asking, all we get is the assistant saying the solicitor will call you back so far not one call to us it has now been four month I know probate can take a while but not this long. NOT HAPPY to say we are paying £250 per hour plus 1 % of the estate, I would not recommend them

Our experience with Ison Harrison has been extremely stressful and disappointing. We were assigned a solicitor who, in our case, provided information that turned out to be inaccurate on several occasions. As a result, we incurred unexpected additional costs of approximately £6,500 during our house purchase.

Following this, our case was passed to another solicitor. After completion and moving into the property, we were contacted two weeks later and informed that there had been a calculation error and we now owed a further £1,083. We challenged this, as the mistake was not ours. The complaint was escalated to a manager, who advised us to contact the Ombudsman, which we have done and are currently awaiting a response.

While waiting for the Ombudsman’s outcome, we then received an email stating that if we did not pay half of the amount within 7 days, the matter would be passed to an external agency, which could affect our credit rating. We have attempted to contact Ison Harrison multiple times by phone and email following that message, but we have not received a response.

This entire situation has caused significant stress after what should have been a positive milestone. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend ensuring that all costs are clarified in writing and that you request clear confirmations at every stage. We are hopeful the Ombudsman will help resolve this fairly.

We were directed to Jen Bateman at Ison Harrison when selling our business unit. Jen was extremely prompt and very professional while dealing with it all. We used the electronic system to sign and complete all the paperwork. I can’t thank her enough for the speed and attention she gave it which I’m sure completed the sale process speedily.
