Incompetent
I booked a ticket with Itabus from Italy to Grenoble, France. Because it was an international journey, part of the booking was handled by BlaBlaBus. I wanted to cancel my ticket and rebook it for a different date, which should have been my right. However, the customer service experience with Itabus was extremely disappointing. Their representatives were unhelpful and repeatedly told me to contact BlaBlaBus, while BlaBlaBus redirected me back to Itabus.
During one of my calls with Itabus customer service, the agent abruptly hung up on me instead of providing assistance. This lack of professionalism, organization, and responsibility between the two companies resulted in me losing both my ticket and my money. The entire experience was frustrating and unacceptable.

We couldnt pay with credit card so we tried to buy the tickets with cash. They said only online only online. The worst service of my life

ITABUS is the worst bus compay
ITABUS is the worst bus company I have ever encountered in my life.
They kept us waiting for 1.5 hours without giving any information whatsoever. In the end, we had to ask the drivers of other ITABUS buses arriving at the station to call our driver, and that’s when we were told that our bus wouldn’t arrive for another 3 hours.
Do NOT, under any circumstances, choose ITABUS.
Their service is completely unacceptable, irresponsible, and disrespectful to passengers.

Rome is a city with full of pick pocketers. Irresponsible Law & order situation. Lost few valuable things on board Itabus from Zurich to Rome. Paid for Checked in Baggage.On arrival in Rome the bag is not seen in the baggage storage area of the bus. When asked no responsible answers from the crew. Suggest avoiding Rome on any European Tour. Itabus has a 1.5-star average here, with almost 3k reviews stating the same. That alone should tell a story.
But what’s even more revealing is what happens outside of Trustpilot.
On LinkedIn, where the company promotes itself as innovative and customer-focused, they’ve disabled comments on every post.
Apparently, transparency doesn’t travel with them either.
I recently shared my experience on LinkedIn, where I also invited others who faced similar issues to share theirs.
Just search “Rodrigo Lavrador Itabus” and add your voice there.
If they won’t listen here, maybe they’ll notice there, where money talks louder.
As for my case: a bus left from a different location than the ticket showed, in heavy rain, no staff, no signs, and yet, their system marked us as “checked in.” I call it fraud.
When I asked for a refund, I got the same copy-paste answer others mentioned here.
Thousands of people can’t all be wrong.
Maybe openness should be their next stop.
Had a wonderful bus ride from LYON
Had a wonderful bus ride from LYON, France, to TORINO, Italy. The driver was excellent and the ride was pleasant. Will definitely use ITABUS again. It was worth paying the extra few euros for the comfort seats.

Itabus cancelled our trip back to home few hours before without any explanation, from Roma to Ferrara 🙂 No automatic refund, zero information from call worker and no support.
I don’t recommend at all.
Negative experience
Negative experience. My friends and I were on the bus from Rome Tiburtina to Bologna, and the driver was incredibly rude. He spoke to people as if he were talking to animals. On top of that, his driving was quite reckless at times it felt like we were on a roller coaster. The service really needs to be reconsidered. I think that if I have to travel by bus again, I won’t choose Itabus.

Horrible experience, bus didn't show up until more then 40mins after specified pick-up time, after which we were forced to buy another means of transport in order to still make our connection. The ticket from Itabus mentions a bus stop on a different address than the website, even though ticket was bought through their website. Don't travel with them, would rate 0/5 if it were possible. Will never (attempt to) use their services again

I bought tickets through omio, at the day of departure italbus tell me the bus is rescheduled for 2 hours later. I need to get to airport in time. This is scam company, avoid them if you want to make the trip correctly
Poor communication and rude drivers
Our bus from ljubjana was delayed but this company has multiple ways to contact you…via app notification and email and I did not get the email in time….
The drivers were rude and unhelpful…looked as if we asked them to drive us to mars when we asked reasonable questions. Please can itabus remind drivers that customers just need a friendly and helpful service. We felt we were an irritation. Poor customer interaction from drivers.
The company has a poor rating online…and has for some time….get the communication right….be clear with customers about pick up points ….retrain drivers to be customer focused as they are the front of house.
I don't recommend using their services
I don't recommend using their services. I've had another experience where I purchased tickets in advance, and the day before my trip, they canceled my trip and changed it many hours later. I had to buy much more expensive tickets from another carrier. Canceling a purchased ticket is very complicated. They don't simply refund the card used to pay, but send you to forms where you have to find the correct one, after which they send you a voucher. If you want a cash refund, you have to fill out another, very lengthy form. After completing this second form, they haven't refunded your money, and two weeks have passed.
