Continual fobbing off

I ordered a chair at the end of August. here we are in January and despite lots of emails etc NO chair. What was weird was they delivered the WRONG chair at the beginning of December and I had a real hassle getting it taken away! I am about to contact my credit card company. Do not use them.

Dont use this company!! 6 months, no items delivered

I bought a lounge chair and a lamp in june 2014.
After waiting 3 months I contact them again. They reply that there has been a delay in shippment, but I will have it within 3 weeks.

3 Weeks later, I ask again, and their reply is "you will get it in two week".

After many mails, I get a mail saying my item is in customs, and they need my birth ID to get shipped out invoice for VAT. This was 16th december, and I replied the same day.

In my login at their webpage, it states that my order is completed.

Today (5th december) I sendt a new mail, and got the same responce as last time. "-We need your birthdate.. "
I then tried their online help, who said I had to email them.
I said I wanted a tracking number today, or a phonenumber I could call directly, or I would have to go to my bank and report it to get my money back. The customer support closed the conversation...

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with!

Great product - only 1 week late due to Christmas

I ordered two Arne Jacobsen floor lamps on Nov 12th. The delivery was stated to be 2-3 weeks. When three weeks had past, I wrote an email to customer service and got prompt reply, that my lamps had left their warehouse. Two days later my lamps arrived and I'm really statisfied with the quality. Thanks to Jack & Fox Customer Service

No delivery, continual lies about delivery

Ordered a sofa in June , expected to receive it in no more that 3 weeks. It's almost Christmas and I have not received it yet. The customer service kept lying telling that we woul have received the sofa in 15 days.
If there is something that I can suggest is NOT TO BUY FROM JACK & FOX!!!

No delivery, continual lies about when to expect delivery

I waited 6 months for delivery, nothing ever arrived. There was always an excuse whenever I spoke to customer services. For the last few weeks I've been chasing them, and it's always "delivery will be at the beginning of next week" and the "delivery company will get in touch to arrange". Nothing ever came of this, I'm now taking this up with my credit card company.

Absolutey appalling service - scam company - never use

I ordered a chaise longue from Jack & Fox in September with 10-12 week delivery time. I contacted the company a few weeks later to ask if they could replace my order with a sofa (3 times the price) and cancel the previous order. I was told this was not possible as they had begun making the chaise. I pointed out that their terms and conditions stated that I could return any items purchased within 14 days of receiving them so was puzzled as to why I couldn't cancel before delivery. I wrote to the Managing Director of the company (who I don't think exists) and did not receive a response. When I called the number on the website it is a very non customer focused voice on the answering machine. I went ahead with the two orders and was told they would arrive before Christmas! Three weeds ago, after chasing, I received an email saying the goods had arrived and I would receive them "2-3 weeks at the latest". - still not received them! After several 'chats' on the chat line with 'Mary' she told me the goods did not meet quality control and it would be end January/beginning February before I would receive the goods. I asked for a full refund and was told that the goods had been ordered and therefore I would not receive a refund. I am now going to take legal advice to ensure I am given a full refund. Please DO NOT USE this company and I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from them.

Fortsat manglende levering - NON delivery

On july 22nd we ordered a Corona Chair and a Corona Stool. Delivery time 9-12 weeks. After 12 weeks we went on-line and chatted with "[name]". We were told that there was a delay from China and that another 4 weeks would go before delivery.
After 4 weeks we tryed to call customer service: Nobody to answer thE phone!
Then we went on-line again: Now we should receive it "this week".
As of today nothing has been received. We have chased the company several times. We have contacted their transportation Company which did not know about our order even though Jack&Fox claimed they had picked up the goods.
We have NEVER experienced so bad a treatment from ANY Company.

WORST BUYER EXPERIENCE EVER!!

Buyer beware.

I bought a lounge chair from this company in mid-August. They promised it would be delivered in October and then changed it to November. Last week I asked them for a delivery date and they said my chair was stuck at customs and had to be 'ordered again'. The customer service number they have on their website is not working and they seem to operate out of a flat in Feltham not in Covent Garden as it says on their website. I have now contacted my bank and I'm applying for a charge back for non-delivery. I am an unhappy customer and would not recommend this company.

Very bad,Unacceptable Experience.

I placed my order on the 8th of august and I am still waiting for my chair 3 months later. They never answer the phone and customers service is non excistent. Also the pictures posted on their web site of happy customers are not accurate.

I keep getting the same reply when I finally get an answer to my emails. With the same excuse and vague delivery dates that keep changing.

UPDATE:

Contacted my bank today and have asked them to send me the paperwork to begin a chargeback to my credit card.
No reply in the last 10 days to my last email from this company.
Now I will let the bank deal with it. As the last online chat I was able to have have with them left me in shock as to the rude and arrogant experience I received from them. Even to the point of threatening to do a chargeback on me for a chair I do not have.
I advise anyone to think twice before placing an order with them...IMO

"No Fantastic Customer Service" Evasive !!!

28th July I finally found an online retailer (trustworthy in its production and customer service I thought), bought and paid for in full (requirement) on same day, the Le Corbusier 2 seater in premium leather. The website showed delivery dates between 12 - 13 weeks. I.e. delivery mid October 2014. In September I started to seek updates on my delivery date. I was told another 4-6 weeks. I beat on the drums a bit and then told 2 -3 weeks. My requests for a specific date remains unanswered. My telephone calls to the company is greeted by a virtual, maybe a housewife in Daggenham. No company greeting, just: "the person you are calling is not available." I have not receive any call backs, yet they claim they cannot reach me on my number! ?Yesterday I received an email (in response to my email of a week ago) that my couch will be delivered between 24-26 November. I'm furious as I am doing all the chasing and there is no such thing as the "fantastic customer service" which they advertise!!! They don't contact you as promised, when there are delays.
Looking at the Company documents which I have just downloaded, the company was ONLY incorporated only in April 2014 and in May was still seeking feedback and improvements hints for its new website. I am beginning to doubt whether the ONLY THREE CUSTOMER REVIEWS on their website are real customers. When did they buy and receive their goods when the company was registered only in April 2014? With the advance payment requirement, as per website and extremely lengthy delivery time, it's hard to believe these three are actual customers.
I left a message for the Director to call me (even left my land line number) and I am still waiting. All I want is TO COMMUNICATE WITH A REAL PERSON AND MY COUCH.
I sent the Director a letter today, (to all 3 addresses as listed on the Companies House website) requesting him to respond today, otherwise I will instruct my bank to reclaim for non delivery of goods. In addition, I will present the facts to the appropriate UK authorities.

Not having had any response from the director and owner of Jack and Fox, today (10/11/10) I contacted my bank for Reclaim on non delivery of goods. My bank advised that since I made the payment by BACS (only payment method on the website), they cannot guarantee that I will receive my money. I have now made a complaint to the Police, the Action Fraud, and Trading Standards.
Please do not buy from this website!!!

My order had still not been delivered. In November I had sent Jack and Fox letters to all Registered business addresses, in Feltham and Crawley and also the virtual office address as per website, Skelton Gardens,in Covent Gardens. although sent per special delivery, all letters were returned as Unknown or not collected from post office. My letters included, contracts cancellation as per consumer contracts - the immediate response from the virtual assistant was that I cannot cancel my order as its custom made. I believe the judge will decide on that. Custom made? The website gives you the option to choose color and leather quality. Same dimensions as per website. I have also sent letters and same per email to all the email addresses I found on the Director, no response from him but from the virtual assistant immediately after sending my Letter Before Action in going to Small Claims Court. I have also advised that I will not take delivery and was told that the Terms and Conditions apply. Although she told me on November 10th that the container had just arrived and my delivery will follow soon after clearance and quality check, this, to date had not materialized. Please note that the Jack and Fox Ts & Cs does not, in the event you want to return items, indicate where it should be returned to, but that they will let you know. So this kind of Terms and Conditions could actually let you sit with an item for weeks, months and the return charges would probably costs the same as the sofa. I have reported this T&C's to the Advertising Standards agency and also the advertising on the website in Payment Procedures which indicates one can pay by PayPal, Debit Card, Credit Card, not of which was available although advertised, when I purchased the Sofa on July 28th.
On 9th January I have filed a claim for my payment of £549.00 at the Small Claims Court. Although the Small Claims N1 Form had been ent per emails and special delivery, the latter ad been returned from all Registered addresses. I received information from the Virtual Office supplier at Covent Garden, that Jack and Fox is no longer a client of theirs and that they have instruction to forward mail to a yet another virtual office in Glasgow. Today, however, I received a "return to sender" of my letter sent on 13th November to the Covent Garden address. I have resend per special delivery all the letters returned to the Covent Garden address and this was received and signed for. I received confirmation from the virtual office supplier that the letter will be forwarded to the virtual office in Glasgow. I have further informed Companies House of my situation with Jack and Fox Limited and also that all my letters to the Companies House Registered Addresses are returned as unknown and not collected from Post Office.
Today, rather cheekily I received a Sale Notification email from Jack and Fox. What a NERVE!! Please do not buy from this company, they are not a business to be taken seriously!! Their products as per website are most probably made by Aliens on Mars and it will NEVER be delivered!!!! BEWARE!!

06/05/2014

I still have no delivery and no correspondence from Jack and Fox. The matter is now being investigated by the MET/ Action Fraud Police.

Avoid this company!!
