Bad quality shoe rack and customer service

Received a shoe rack with a part that easily broke on assembly. Joseph Joseph passed me off to the retailer rather than taking ownership of the issue. When I found the replacement part on their own website and asked them to simply cover the postage, in my view the least they could do for selling an expensive shoe rack which is of bad quality, they told me the did not have any stock of the part which was listed on the website. I reiterated to them that they had it and that I was happy to pay but I wanted to know if they were agreeable to pay for postage in light of the issue. Two follow-up emails later without any response. Disappointing product quality and customer service experience to match.

Edit: Annalise from Joseph Joseph managed my complaint and went above and beyond to rectify.

Excellent Customer Service

Excellent Customer service from Joseph Joseph. I thought all of the team members were extremely polite and answered my queries so promptly. My emails were responded to helpfully by Ruth, George, Shaquant and Kokila. Ruth successfully resolved my issue and even sent a follow up email to check everything. I felt that I was a valued customer and that my experience mattered. Thank You Very Much.

Enjoyed the best support from JJ!

I enjoyed a full support as soon as I emailed Joseph Joseph team with initial advice from Kokila who was really supportive. Kokila replied back and referred my request to your Product Team, in the meantime, she offered a step by step possible solution. Finally, we received a final solution from JJ Product team. My family and I will remember this level of support and recommend Joseph Joseph products to any new and returning buyers. Special thanks to Kokila and Product Team!

Excellent service when following up a…

Excellent service when following up a delivery with an item missing. Phoned customer service team and spoke to George who quickly and clearly explained what had happened, tracked item and set up tracking code for it - all in a few minutes. Having expected a drawn out process I was very pleasantly surprised and can recommend their service provision.

Great customer service

Just wanted to highlight how good the customer service experience was, as that is not something that happens often! I ordered the AirFrame airer but accidentally ordered the max option, which was too large for my flat. Emailed customer service to ask if it could be picked up rather than me taking it to a DPD drop off as it was a v large box, and Annalise could not have been more helpful. The pick up was organised swiftly - based on my availability rather than just being told when it was happening - and I received a discount code to use when I went on to order the correct size, which was a nice bonus. All very efficient and friendly.

After purchasing a set of the kitchen… disappointed customer

After purchasing a set of the kitchen knives at the beginning of the year 2026 they had gone extremely blunt with the one month I contacted the company as they have a two year guarantee and they reply Worcester sharpen them which is not good enough they should not have gone that blunt that quickly. They’ve also gone rusty they’re not prepared to honour their two year guarantee or to do anything to help. I am extremely disappointed with the purchase as it was not a cheap purchase and extremely disappointed with the customer service and the guarantee which isn’t worth having or not purchase on them ever again very disappointed customer

Broken Chop2Pot

I reported a broken part on a folding chopping board and with the minimum of fuss, just evidence of purchase and a photograph Aida organised a replacement. Really positive experience with Joseph Joseph’s customer support

I contacted them regarding an issue with a Milltop™ salt & pepper mill, and the team was quick to respond and very clear about what information they needed. Shaq in particular was excellent—friendly, responsive, and guided me step by step through the whole process.

Everything was handled smoothly and efficiently, and once I provided the details, a replacement was arranged without any hassle. Communication was great throughout, which made the experience even better.

It’s refreshing to see a company that stands behind its products and delivers such helpful, customer-focused support.

Excellent post-sale customer service

Bought easy-store corner shelves set, but they fell down 3 times within 6 months and broke. Contacted Joseph Joseph's customer service via online chat, Mariela was very helpful and sorted out the issues efficiently and professionally. Since the product has been discontinued, she issued a refund to me. No hassles. Would highly recommend given how good the after-sale customer service is.
