I was referred to Lawcomm Solicitors by a friend, and my conveyancing needs were handled by Sanjib Pathak. I cannot recommend him highly enough! From the start, Sanjib was not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly attentive to my needs.

Annoyingly had a really frustrating experience with Lawcomm and the conveyancer assigned to us, Pavan.

We used Home Legal Direct who assigned us to our move to Lawcomm.

We was first time buyers buying a property that took over 5 months to complete. Issues began after searches where Pavan sat on these for just under two months. Whenever I called I went straight through to Pavans voicemail and all emails went unanswered. After a couple of weeks when Pavan did pick up the phone I was told he had issues with his phone. I asked why he had not responded to my emails which got no answer. I was told he had drafted queries and was awaiting on the technical team to review these. Again,I waited a further two week and experienced the same issues. Couldn’t get through,left numerous voicemails and emails. When I did get through I was met with the same excuse. I was told the technical team would review the drafted queries that week and they would go to the sellers solicitors. Waited a week and heard nothing until the estate agents rang saying the seller was on the verge of pulling out as Pavan was not responding to their emails chasing for updates nor the sellers solicitors. Rang again,no answer so I had to complain to home legal direct. I sent Pavan an email regarding how poor the service had been and received an apology and was told this would improve moving forward. It did not. I had to relentlessly chase,dial through to colleague numbers,every trick possible to get in touch with him. When I expressed concern about how long this was all taking being a first time buyer in no chain I was told how would I know,it’s very complex and so was the queries. They were not. He had failed to forget the two months he had held up the proceedings evidently too being a key factor in the time it was taking. When we did get to the final two weeks of the sale going through I again had to relentlessly chase on one of the queries to be resolved to the point I lost all patience and had to speak with the seller to agree it was fine personally and instruct Pavan. Then,on the day of the sale,Lawcomm had forgot to put a £24 charge on my invoice which was not paid for obvious reasons and said this would hold up the sale that day. After the sale there has been a few issues I have notified Lawcomm on hoping for assistance but received acknowledgement and nothing further so have given up on hoping to get these resolved.
Reading the reviews Lawcomm received perhaps this is isolated to just Pavan as other case handlers seem to be coveted by positive reviews bar Pavan.

Natalie was amazing. Super responsive and professional and always available to support with sensible advice with our sale which was not always straight forward. Would highly recommend her!

The conveyancing service provided by Sanjib Pathak of Lawcomm for the sale and purchase of our properties was excellent with he always seemed available and quick in response to questions. They were also very quick to transfer the outstanding balance from the transactions which was very welcome. We would certainly recommend them on the service provided to us.

We were very fortunate to get Syed assigned as our Solicitor for an Auction sale. He was extremely efficient, proactive, organised, reliable and knowledgable - the key characteristics needed to get the job done. He went over and beyond and was always easily contactable and kept us regularly updated at all steps. Before Syed was assigned our overall experience with Lawcomm was not as good, however he is an absolute credit to the firm and highly recommended.

I can not fault the service that I have received from Carolyn Shakespeare at Lawcomm. I am most grateful to her. I have been kept informed at every stage of the process and have received assistance where I needed it. The flowchart that this company uses let's you know exactly where the process is at and what is happening next. The cost of using Lawcomm was also half that of anything quoted by local solicitors. Great company to deal with. Thank you.

We were recommended Lawcomm by our estate agent and mistakenly thought it would speed up the process. We were initially assigned a solicitor who raised paperwork for a single seller when we are joint sellers, causing a delay. Then we were assigned different solicitor for reasons unknown to us. Our new solicitor was not easy to communicate with, not replying to emails and impossible to get hold of by phone and as this was our 1st time selling a property we had reasonable questions that we would have liked answering. We had to contact the estate agent for them to constantly chase lawcomm and through this discovered that the buyers solicitor had raised questions for our response weeks before they were actually passed to us by our solicitor. The final disappointment was when we eventually completed we were told to expect our money by latest 5pm that day which was unfortunately a Friday. When this didn’t happen we spent a stressful weekend not being able to contact anybody, apart from our bank who confirmed that no payment was pending. When we eventually managed to contact someone on Monday morning, the excuse was that ‘accounts didn’t get round to it on Friday’ Poor show, wouldnt recommend

I can't praise Sanjib highly enough. He always responded quickly to requests and emails and made a stressful sale easier. We were losing hope on to our 3rd buyer through no fault of Lawcomm. Sanjib consistently worked quickly and efficiently throughout. I also found the online Howla system useful for tracking the case.

It was not without issues as I know my solicitor had so many cases on her plate but Vaishnavi managed to get a near impossible task done for which I will forever be grateful. Maintaining comms as the client is key but my appreciation for the effort put in is immense! Thank you!

Natalie Chan was extremely helpful and professional. I have given 4 stars due to some initial struggles with a different individual, but once Natalie took over there was a lot of communication and updates given from Natalie, and a lot of hard work to get through some of the nitty gritty elements. Natalie persevered and got us to our desired outcome.

As first time buyers we needed more guidance and support than usual maybe; and Natalie at Lawcomm was always helpful, kind, and prompt with her updates. Everything didn't go swiftly or smoothly (because it was a new build perhaps) but Natalie Chan was always ready to give us reassurance and great support throughout the process. Thanks so much!

Lawcomm are extremely slow and progress is minimal. Getting hold of someone via the phone is hard and emails are never responded to. We have had to change solicitors due to poor handling of our sale and purchase. Avoid

Excellent service from Bernard at Lawcomm. I found the whole process very smooth with great communication. All my queries were answered swiftly and my parents are now using Lawcomm for their move as a result. Also competitive price. Would highly recommend.
