Very quick delivery, lens was in good condition, but the packaging was the worst I have seen from LCE, particulary as the 35-70 f2.8 Nikon is quite heavy.
The hood been attached in reverse mode and during an impact in transit had been rammed backward, beyond the bayonet mount fittings, and was very difficult to remove and has slight damage. Some rattling inside too, tho maybe normal ?

I ordered both a Think Tank Camera Bag and a pair of Nikon Binoculars whilst on offer online. Both were awaiting stock to arrive at the time but that was not a problem for me. Within a couple of days the sales department from the Bath store phoned me to say that the bag would be delivered to me the next day which duly arrived. Likewise a few days later the same store phoned again with similar news about the binoculars which duly arrived the following day. Many thanks to LCE for their competitive prices and excellent sales service.

I purchased a Sony 24mm f1.4 G Master lens from the Bath branch. I had to delay the order by a couple of days and they were very accommodating. When the lens arrived, which was as on time, it was packaged superbly. I have dealt with LCE since 1990 when I purchased a second hand Pentax K1000 film camera and they have always been professional and helpful. Hopefully more years to go. Keep up the superb work.
