Jordan, Chris and Danny were fantastic packing my 91 year old fathers' 3 bedroom ground floor flat. Cheerful and happy which when we had been sorting and packing until 3am and then awake at 7am, kept me going. Also the concern they had for me driving 6 hrs back home in the evening. Non stop moving and packing. Due to smaller van it was two trips to storage. Very helpful with dad whilst I was still packing and cleaning. Coped with the grumpy upstairs neighbours and intense next owner. Even took our outdoor plants to the depot to store whilst we could arrange separate pick up. Next step in a few weeks from store to new property. Well done lads. Next crew has alot to do to match original crew. Challenge set for the crew from storage to new home. I will update 😊

I had Neil and Matt loading, the pre move was miscalculated and it was definitely a three man job, great communication and they were very good at getting the most difficult (previous moves) furniture out with ease. They've done this before clearly. Very friendly and chatty and very good at removal van jenga! It was a long day and i was able to leave them with the garage key to post through the letter box so i could leave to get to the new house. Contents were delivered the next day which was a lot faster than the load thank goodness. Matt and Brad did a swift job albeit i supplied with espressos for extra energy. Neil in particular was great with giving me tips on unpacking and how to store and contact for removal of all the boxes for collection when i had unpacked. They put carpet protection down and just got on with the job asking questions about what was to be packed or left (some things they can't load for safety reasons). Overall a very smooth process that is a very stressful life event for most people made easier, especially when moving to a different county. Not sure i'd do it myself after a lot of years collecting dust in places I can't reach, yet they did it with ease and a great attitude. Thank you for the service, they deserve a bonus or an extra set of hands for a big job - management team take note!

Excellent efficient and friendly service. Moved us to and from Portugal (4 years apart) and both moves were executed really smoothly. Most recently our move back to the UK was carried out by Steven. A more friendly and helpful mover you couldn’t hope for!

Right from the original quote from Rob, to the admin staff, and then the brilliant team of Jordan, Danny, Chris and Sammy who actually moved us, nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was friendly, had a brilliant sense of humour, and worked so hard to get us into our new home by the end of the day. You were amazing.
Huge thanks to you all.

It was a really good moving experience and we loved that it was over the three days and so we didn't have a mad rush on leaving our home of 31 years. Neil and Chris, our crew for the three days, were fantastic, they were very friendly and had to work through the ridiculous heatwave after a long drive up from Bournemouth, thank you guys for a great job, it was very much appreciated. Excellent service. The sales rep who visited (David I think!) was helpful and continued to check in with me about possible moving dates without being pushy. When the day finally arrived, the removal men were outstanding - I had Chris, Neil, Sammy and Ady. All four were friendly and flexible. The move happened in 28 degree heat and everyone continued to work hard to ensure the move was smooth and every item was placed exactly as requested. The biggest challenge of all was my 280kg piano, which couldn’t fit through the living room door on wheels due to the diagonal corridor in the property. The men provided a solution and worked as a four to carry the piano on its side in the end - it was a nail-biting experience to say the least (due to the piano being such a weighty item to manoeuvre and very precious to me), but there was no other option, and all four worked together to make sure the piano got in safely without causing any damage to the instrument or the property. I would 100% recommend this team.

Britannia moved our belongings from the UK to Spain
18 years ago so no other choice when moving back.
They have proved to be reliable, helpful, friendly. We cannot remember the names from 18 years ago but
Brad & Chris did a stand up job on this occasion.

We used this company when we moved from UK to Canada in 2002 and they were awesome.
Fast forward to 2025 and we had a close family bereavement in UK & had inheritance items we wanted to be moved to Canada again.
We had no hesitation in using Leatherbarrows again because of the experience the 1st time around.
They came to the house in the UK & packed up what we wanted and the items were received in Canada 8 weeks later.
I appreciated the follow up & my questions being answered, and of course the timely delivery.
We thoroughly recommend.

The removal team arrived promptly and laid out all of the carpet protections which was important as we had just redecorated before moving. The team were fast and efficient putting everything in the correct places and they were very pleasant to be working with, a good sense of humour which meant we all got the job done quickly. The team were amazing, thank you

Andy, Chris & Adrian, came to the rescue when our international container was attempted to be delivered to our new home address by mistake of the driver. The men ensured our belongings were off loaded, and placed in the correct rooms as per the information on the boxes. Sadly some of our items were damaged. But they ensured they provided the correct information needed for us to start the process of insurance claim from the original removal company in Australia. Nothing was a problem for them, when an item was taken upstairs when I said.... ummm can I have that taken backdown stairs and the other item brought up stairs... Thankyou team, I hope we never have to use you again.... Now we are in our forever home.

The removal team were all extremely, helpful & happy to assist; making the move run smoothly.
My only criticism is that the move should have been originally planned over three days, rather than two; due to the load & the distance between the two properties.

All six of the men that we had were brilliant, they worked really hard and were cheerful all day long. They had a hard day as we have so much heavy outside item. I would recommend them to anyone and have being telling people how good they all were. unfortunately I only know 5 of their names. Thank you to Rob, Sammy, Ady, Andy, Matt and ?. Once again thank you, they made a very stressful day nearable. Julia Bacon

I could not speak more highly of Britannia Leatherbarrows, who moved us from Dorset to the Channel Islands. Firstly their quotation was good - Lewis Mills, the estimator, certainly knew his stuff.
They told me they would take three days to pack, and that we could choose the days, which did not need to be consecutive. They turned up on time with a container lorry, which they manoeuvred with incredible skill round a very tight right-angled turn in our cul- de-sac, and then packed all our stuff into it with equal skill and delicacy. Rob and his team worked like Trojans. This was repeated with the second container.
On delivery, our experience was just as good. The two containers were unloaded in a very impressive five hours, and almost every box, and every piece of furniture, was put into the rooms we specified, saving us a lot of work down the track. So our compliments to Bones, Tony and the crew in Alderney.
Britannia’s office staff were always helpful throughout.
If you want a good remover in the South of England, don’t look any further than Britannia Leatherbarrows.
