Agree with the steer clear post

The whole affair with LGD started badly with a poor survey and then designs were not what was asked for. Delays were always blamed on everyone but the company, Mr Ross was poor when communicating and the overall customer service was dire. Oh aye, and the "five star review" posted in 2023 was written by Mr Ross himself. Won't be recommending.

Steer well clear

My parents used this company to purchase an awning. The chap agreed a price (hefty if you ask me) and the delivery and installation estimate was approx 6 weeks. The awning arrived around 8 months later and sat outside for a further few months before anyone arrived to install. The installation team quickly determined that they couldn't do the job as the initial assessment was that the awning would be fixed to a wooden beam, and in actual fact the awning needed fitting to a metal beam, which required adjustments / fittings to be made, bespoke to the situation. Several more visits over another few months from various people and the awning was fitted (albeit through covid), however with no electrical hook up, which my parents were then told was at their own cost. Overall the job was shoddy in execution and overpriced (supposed to be an all in price which was then added to significantly) and they are now in a legal exchange based on lack of delivery against the original contract (which their insurance company agrees there is a case to answer). I would steer well clear of them based on parents experience (they are in their 80s and feel they have been taken for a ride by this company).
