The holiday was wonderful, with all connections smooth and hotels and trips excellent. We had the same guides for the time we were in the jungle and all around the sacred valley. They were knowledgable, friendly, helpful and enthusiastic which added significantly to what we got out of the holiday.
The jungle lodge was fantastic and the Amazon trips were amazing, and Machu Picchu was magnificent. All the other incredible Inca structures around the Sacred Valley gave us some insight into their superb engineering and their ability to build in a way that fits into the spectacular natural landscape so beautifully. Lake Titicaca gave us a glimpse of different cultures and how it is possible to live different ways in the modern world. Thank you very much, it was fantastic!

This is the second time we have travelled with Llama Travel and yet again they have provided an excellent service. Costa Rica was absolutely incredible (you all have to go) and the hotels, jungle lodges, itinerary, transfers and expert guides provided by llama travel enhanced our trip further. On our last few days the government closed the small airport down and so the guide and local Llama team quickly reacted, got us into a jeep and took us (through rivers) to another airport where we were able to fly to San Jose. The group of 20ish we travelled with were split into 2 small groups so our experiences always felt bespoke and everyone on the tour was like-minded and interested in exploring a new destination. We wouldn't hesitate to go back to Llama Travel for another holiday package.

Recently had a trip with Llama travel to S.America. Everything was spot on with pickups from the airports and trips all happening seamlessly. We hardly had to think about a thing except when to be in the Hotel reception for... Local Tours were always on time and very friendly/professional/funny.

Even when I was a bit sleepy and left my jacket in Cusco by mistake, the guy's at Condor / Llama Travel ensured it made it safely back to me.

Such great post sales service I had to leave a review for them !! Would definitely recommend and now dreaming at my next trip with them (Colombia) :)

An absolutely wonderful holiday. Llama Travel (Condor Travel in Peru) could not have done more for us including when we had a really early start (5am) to go to the airport the rep took us in a taxi, came into th3 airport and #howed us where to check in and then came with us to the security gate to make sure we did not get lost, we had this treatment everywhere we went.

Llama Travel organised my recent Inca/Conquistidor trip to Peru (1-14 April).

Basically, it was amazing...from start to finish. The Condor travel guys over in Peru were fantastic, so friendly/knowledgable...all the tour reps were so good. Good choice of hotels...all suitably located and great service. The tour itinerary was fantastic and I got to see everything on my list! Organisation of flights, the tickets, the admin behind the scenes, the pickups and transportation were all efficient and on time.

Tour group was great too, met some really interesting people and can't fault an actual thing.

As a single (female) traveller, it's also a really safe place to visit, never felt intimidated or unsafe in Peru.

Just the most amazing trip ever. Have asked Llama to send me their new brochure as i'm now keen on Argentina, Bolivia, Chile etc!

Can't fault this company, would highly recommend! Pretty exceptional all round.

my wife and i would just like to thank you on what was a fantastic holiday and experience of a life time…the holiday from start to finish was absolutely fantastic and just got better from day 1 onwards. The accommodation, the reps, transfers and the excursions were so well organised and exceeded our expectations, everything was wonderful and we could not fault it, it gave us the trip of a lifetime. It is hard to put into words the enjoyment we received from such an experience but it was perfect finishing off with the ultimate which was the inca trail. We have never experienced anything like that before and we are massive trekkers as well, it was the toughest experience we have ever achieved but well worth it especially the arrival at machu picchu which was magical and etched into our memories forever. We would definitely recommend your company to people, friends and family and will fill in the questionnaire you provided and post back to yourselves soon.

Just got back from Costa Rica after another wonderful holiday with Llama Travel. The staff in London are the most helpful we have come across and all the agents made this a holiday to remember for all the right reasons. Can not praise Llama enough, nothing is left to chance and all runs smoothly. A great company and all at the best price.

We recently returned from a memorable trip to South America and would have no hesitation in recommending Llama Travel to anyone. We were able to discuss our itinerary beforehand and the company was more than willing to make changes to suit our needs - nothing was too much trouble.
The trip lasting nearly three weeks went very smoothly - all transfers went without a hitch with someone to help us at every airport (we had 6 fights in total) and all the guides on each excursion were both knowledgeable and friendly, and the hotels were excellent.
Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, the Iguacu Falls and finally Rio de Janeiro all have special memories thanks to Llama Travel

I cannot fault Llama Travel or your guides you use (via Swiss Travel) for this holiday. They were always there when they should have been, very informative and helpful.

Costa Rica is an amazing place with wonderful beaches, an abundance of wildlife and the accommodation was brilliant.

I have no hesitation in recommending Llama Travel to anyone and I will look to book through them for any South America trips in the future.

I have no hesitation in recommending this company. This was our first holiday with them and there is no doubt that I would book again when we go to other parts of South America. The booking procedure was easy....lots of information given to help us choose flights, tours etc. The people we spoke to were very knowledgeable. The tickets etc arrived promptly and the information about the countries we were to visit was useful. The trip itself was fantastic. Everything went like clockwork. We were met at the airport and all the transfers happened efficiently. The guides on the tours were great....interesting and trustworthy. We always felt safe . The Valparaiso tour was just us plus a guide and driver. Sometimes we were in larger groups but never more than 12. It was nice meeting different people from different countries to share our experiences with. The Atacama desert extension was really good. Excellent tours to spectacular areas to see wonderful scenery and wildlife. Great hotels throughout the entire trip.We didn't upgrade and were happy with the hotels we stayed in. The Torres del Paine national park is amazing...we were lucky with the the weather. We saw condors. The Serrano river trip back to Puerto Natales was really worth doing. The Estancia Christina trip also was memorable...the boat sailing amongst icebergs.Buenos Aires is a great city....and the Tango show we went to was so good. All in all, we had a great experience,met lovely people, ate good food and saw fantastic sights. Llama reimbursed us without hesitation for a tour that was unfortunately cancelled in Chile. They are a very good company to deal with in every respect.

From the initial email that I had sent to Llama with an enquiry, I received the most fantastic customer service, even when I had forgotten to make a payment that had lapsed. The staff are courteous, professional and extremely helpful.
We left Manchester airport and flew KLM to Peru via Amsterdam. (TIP - pay for the upgrade if you can - it's well worth it)
We flew to Lima and were met by a representative and taken to our hotel in Lima for 2 nights. Hotel was in a lovely location and central to local attractions. We took the optional colonial Lima excursion, which was well worth it. Fab. The guide was absolutely brilliant, humorous and extremely knowledgeable. We were picked up on day 3 for a flight to Cusco. Flight fantastic and gorgeous views (get a left hand seat if you can, views are to die for). Altitude sickness hit our whole group differently, from nothing at all, to slightly tipsy feeling to absolutely drunken stupors with nose bleeds. Coco tea was given to us on arrival which helped. Hotel great and a 5 minute walk to the main square.
The Sacred Valley excursion was fantastic and is a real must.
The highlight of the trip was the excursion to Machu Picchu, the train was beautiful and glass topped. The hotel in Machu Picchu was amazing, like a yoga retreat and I would have liked to stay there for a few nights opposed to just 1.
A brilliant holiday, well planned, brilliant excursions and fab guides right the way through.
All in all, it was an amazing trip and we will have these memories forever.
Thanks Llama Travel, you exceeded our expectations in all areas.

They delivered on the trip but 2 weeks before flying out they informed us that, the optional excursion which we paid for happened to fall on a bank holiday which means that the excursion wont be available on that day. However they did change the flights to try to accommodate the excursion on a different day. We felt that given they are a professional tour company, they should have been aware that day is a bank holiday when we first book the tour. Otherwise everything else run smoothly and we totally enjoyed our trip in Peru and Rio. Peru is a big country and if you wish to see lots of places there is a lot of flying between places, also the local flights are not very reliable, out of 4 flights there were 2 delays. People in Peru were nice and friendly. It is a place we may go back in the future.

I booked with Llama Travel to visit the Galapagos and Amazon last year. I was so impressed I booked another holiday with them this year!
Accommodation is of a high standard throughout, guides are great and everyone arrives when they should.
As a lone traveller you sometimes get the dreaded 'single' room , which tends to be a poor version of a double. With Llama I've had double rooms on every occasion.
I'm happy to recommend and I look forward to booking with them again.

We had a wonderful time in Costa Rica. All the arrangements worked like clockwork. We added on both extensions offered at the end of the basic tour, which were both very enjoyable. We will definitely use Llama travel again.

We've just returned from a two week Holiday to Peru arranged by Llama Travel and I can honestly say, we will never use anyone else for our South America Holidays. We did the 4D/3NT Inca Trail and then went on to the Amazon Jungle. Everything ran smoothly especially the airport transfers which I was concerned about. There was always a smiling face waiting to collect us at each destination and we were welcomed, offered advice on where to visit and transported in comfortable vans. We had 9 flights in total and having Llama organise the whole thing just made it so easy and relaxed. We mainly dealt with the ever helpful Gary. Now Gary was put through it with my many, many questions, numerous emails and he always responded promptly and put my mind at ease. He was a real gem and a true asset to Llama. Nothing was too much trouble including shuffling our trip details around to suit us. We were always kept up to date with any relevant information that we needed to know about without having to hassle them. Our tickets arrived in plenty of time, only ever were we in small groups (maximum of 7) and the knowledge of our guides whilst on our trip was fantastic! If you are considering booking with Llama Travel and want comfort, attention to detail, cracking customer service & a value for money, all round fantastic Holiday then honestly, don't hesitate. Just do it. We are currently planning on booking our next adventure to Costa Rica with them and cannot wait!

Went to Peru first two weeks in May, from start to finish everything was well planned and organised, the tour guides were very knowledgeable and great company. We were in groups of 8, mini buses were comfortable. All hotels were of good quality and in excellent positions. Staff at the London office were always helpful when I had any queries. Would recommend and book with Llama travel again. We had a fantastic time. 10/10

This was my first holiday with Llama Travel, but it will certainly not be my last. From our very first contact through to the end of the trip everything by Llama Travel was so well organised annd nothing was too much trouble. Our guides (Xenia & Tony) in Costa Rica were excellent and very well informed. Costa Rica is a beautiful country with amazing wildlife and spectacular scenery. Although the sloths are wonderful, the highlight had to be seeing a pair of quetzals which are extremely hard to find.

Costa Rica is not a cheap country for us and the American dollar is strong,which means that many tourists are Americans with greater spending power than us!!
The "ticos" were very friendly and yet there was no hard selling at all.
Manuel Antonio was the icing on the cake and we stayed for eight nights!
A wonderful country and thank you Llama for your excellent organisation of the trip.It is truly memorable.

This was the 3rd holiday I have taken with LLama Travel and each has been a good experience. I have recommended the company to friends who have also had great holidays. This trip was complicated by a last minute change of my original travel date owing to family illness. LLama were really helpful in discussing with me and rearranging at very little extra cost.
Guatemala and Costa Rica are beautiful countries to explore. The Mayan heritage in Guatemala is astounding and the wildlife in Costa Rica, superb.
The local guides were well informed , enthusiastic and professional. Travel arrangements, transfers and internal travel went well, and I felt confident in the drivers.
The only glitch was the return boat ride on Lake Atitlan in Guatemala, which was VERY bumpy. I could not decide if it was the driver or the swell on the Lake, but either way the trip should come with a health warning! However, this did not detract from the holiday overall.
I would certainly travel with LLama again.
