Scam,Scam the same Rae Brown attended to us with false hopes, making my children feel they have secured a contract, all based on deception just to make you purchase the photos for £500.00 pounds Ridiculous!

I'm utterly gutted about how they don't care about putting children through such excitement which never existed

Please don't fall prey for their tricks.

I wish authorities would step in to stop such fraudsters from operating.

I paid 50 pounds to reserve my place with Location London, In the small print it says not turning up to the shoot would cost 150, As my son is ill, which he never (sign) i tried to contact them to let them know we couldnt make it. Only now have i just come across all the reviews and i am so disappointed.

If anyone knows any legit, agencies id love to know, my son is autistic, but he loves to take photos, and was looking forward to this.

PLEASE don’t fall for the scam l nearly did today but after l got myself in a similar experience scam last week with another company thankfully l got my money back from HYPE they tried to sell me a dream for my 6 year old daughter and son 12 years old!
So today l got a call from someone called Angela smith sounded helpful and understanding sad every thing she said was a lie. She said my daughter & son were shortlisted booked in for a job with river island . Paid job, paying between £500 to £1000 . She managed to convince me to pay £35 each for reservations, £71 for both and sent PayPal email to pay it in there. I felt something was unusual, her emails and the link for the payment something didn’t seem right! Her being all pushy and fast you can easily make mistakes as you really don’t have much time to think about it. While l was still waiting for the second link l decided to read about them and that’s when everything made sense l called Angela back and sent an email no answer. I called again after 15mins she answered l told her about the reviews my the hang up the phone woooow!!!

It all makes sense when she first called me she asked where lam originally from and what l do for a living - this was off me!

I was really honest and told her about what my daughter has been through but never mind that’s life l guess.BE CAREFUL DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM PLEASE READ ABOUT IT DIFFERENT NAMES BEING USED TO SCAM PPLE!!!

Worse management company ever
I signed my 4 year old daughter up for modelling representation. She had a test shoot and was selected. I paid 50 deposit which was refundable and then £500 upfront on the day for a contract I never received. The company said the package was £1000 and if I could produce half the amount the company would pay the remaining amount. And I would have to pay them back the remaining £500 on her first job. After signing up and paying I had difficulties getting in contact with the aftercare team. Anytime I would call Lydia the person I was given who would be in charge of our enquiries was Lydia brown she was never avaliable via phone. She emailed me once or twice saying she's only avaliable by telephone appointment. No communication at all. They created my daughter a website , promised to make business cards and had one or 2 jobs lined up for her but never received the details for them. I loss another money taking a risk I thought my daughter would benefit from. I'm heartbroken and frustrated as it has put me into hardship.

I'm have surprisin what people are writing about this Management company. Since I have join them, they have been very attentive in find in my daughter Agencys an contracts jobs.

I agree with everything you guys are describing. This has FRAUD written all over it. Rae Brown (false name) one of the casting directors provided us with a false email address and mobile phone contact details, which didn't work as soon as we left the London Location studio. It is so apparent as to why the company 'SF ticket bookers' advertising under the name of Model Select, require protection by security guards at the entrance. Why else would there be such a rigorous policy not allowing people in to the venue?

Inside the venue, the internal room doors all have security key pads/codes for a reason. This is likely to act as a deterrent from potential aspiring models/ victims of financial fraud accidentally entering a room whilst families are falling prey to the 'hard sell'.

Could this be a company money laundering scam? Be wise folks. Most of the staff speak a limited amount of English except of course the casting directors/ scammers performing the hard sell. I am certain that each and every photo application is accepted, providing false hope to unsuspecting aspiring models and families.

Don't fall for their smoke and mirrors act regarding a point based system which offers non existent modelling jobs displayed via a computer screen by the casting director. They need to be held accountable for their actions! Good luck everyone. Please do your research before you part with a hard earned penny.

My child/teen was verbally promised an offer of two modelling jobs on a point based system. He was apparently one of only two 'successful' applicants that day!

Needless to say the contract did not materialise. There was no paperwork, contract or follow up email from casting consultant Rae Brown as promised. The casting directors are unable to produce a business card, instead writing their contact details on a scrap of paper. All seems highly unusual for a legitimate business operation.

A complete scam. Same routine as previous reviewers, paid an initial £50, went to the appointment in London and had the same brainwashing as others and paid £500. Do not go.

did any of you get the £50 back?
Yesterday I received an email saying that Location London wanted me for a photoshoot. The email was sent by SF ticket bookers, so I thought it was a trustworthy email so I replied and a woman (Tanya Davies) called me. It sounded like a normal phone interview. So I booked the photoshoot in London and payed £50. Location London sent me the pdf of a leaflet that explained what I had to do, who they are etc. This morning though I was curious to know where the place I was supposed to go was, and that is when I found the reviews on this website. I tried telling the bank to cancel the transaction, but they couldn't, so I talked on the phone with Tanya (by the way, the phone number she used yesterday was different from the one I called today) and told them that I wanted my money back and that I was not going to the photoshoot. that I am willing to take legal action if I do not get my money back. now, I was told it will take 3-4 days until I get my money back. I do not have any confirmation that it was a scam as it all happened yesterday, so I was just wondering if any of you got the £50 back. I read that some people lost thousands on this scam and I feel very sorry for them.

These people scammed us out of 6000 and we have not been able to get it all back.

We argued with our credit card companies one of them gave back within the 7 days the other said it was legitimate as they argued the case and we still owe the debt on our credit card.

Totally horrible people and they keep changing their names, models direct, london fashion models, etc etc watch out for these scammers

LOCATION LONDON is a scam! Please don’t attend if you have a booking! It’s all a LIE! They are selling people dreams, that will never come into fruition.

SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

I got a call from someone called Angela Smith from Location London Studios, she said my granddaughter had been approved for a photo shoot. I asked if it could be done in Manchester which is where we live, she told me that all models were located in London and that any other agency was just a photo shoot and would charge me for a portfolio, but wouldn’t be able to offer my granddaughter any work. I was out shopping and she was very pushy, sending me an email with payment details on, which she wanted me to fill in immediately to secure the place. Fortunately, for me, my phone ran out of charge, giving me chance to think about what had been said, she said she had other girls waiting for the same age group as my granddaughter and if I didn’t pay to reserve her place, she would give it to someone else. This was 17.30 in the evening, I didn’t expect to hear off her again, being as the places were so much in demand, but low and behold, she rang me the following morning at 10.30 still trying to push me into paying a deposit, when I told her I spoken to my son who said it was to far for my granddaughter to travel, she became very abrupt and just said well I’ll give it to someone else then. This begged the question, why hadn’t she done that the night before or first thing in the morning. It’s a scam, my granddaughter has another shoot on Saturday with another company in Manchester, an audition as such to see how she is in front of the camera, no fee was asked for in advance, and no fee is payable if she isn’t suitable. I think I had a lucky escape! The emails and calls come through a company called SF Ticket Bookers

Surely lost £50! I am actually so glad I came across this page and has the opportunity to read all of your comments. I have a booking with London Location tomorrow 11:30 which was actually meant to be last Sunday but I couldn’t make it and then this girl called Amber which first booked me, she calls me on Friday to check if I was still coming to the photoshoot, I tell her I probably wouldn’t make it as I couldn’t find anyone to cover my shift, and she books me for Tuesday then, she was all confident and positive, gave me all this conversation about me believing more in myself and being more positive so things would work out to me... and I am telling you she insisted so much on the first time she called that I now which I was more firme and said no. First she said that the deposit was going to be 49.95 and she sent me a link ser straight away on my email while trying to convince me to pay quickly saying that the spaces are limited and when she realised I wasn’t trusting a lot she said Ok I will give you 15min to think and then if you want you call me back but I don’t even know how short after, she calls me back asking if I have divided and all... ok I ended up doing it but one thing made me think, I know £0.05 isn’t nothing but when I was supposed to pay 49.95 and that even was the amount shown on the link she sent me on my email, why was I charged £50 ( I thought that wasn’t honest). So when I realised I wasn’t going to make it to de photoshoot that Sunday, I went in my email and took he phone number that she said I could call at anytime I needed, and guess? It wasn’t recognisable lol. Then I sent her an email but that wasn’t delivered too..
So she called on Friday of course I told her that I tried to reach her but I couldn’t and she tells me that that’s weird but that I write her on the wrong email. Alright, said that, since she called me to check and accepted to change my photoshoot day to a more suitable one I was happy about it... then she said she would call me today( a day before the photoshoot) but I have not got any calls still.
Now I am sure I’m not travelling to London to spend more money on train and stuff and they will surely want to sell me more photos which for me makes no sense because I already have e-cards and books. I was just excited because she said I had this advantage because I already been throughout the process and all they need to see is if I fit the clients requests...
just wondering now if there’s any way I can get my £50 deposit back since I am not showing up.

Vile scammers! I got a call from Amber Dixon at “Location London” saying my 5 year old brother got picked to be a model by one of their most prestigious clients. They then booked for us to come in and do photo shoot In “ 1 Market Court Fritzrovia London W1D 1NT” and told me to pay £50 deposit and I would get it back on the day we went into their studio. I thought it very trust worthy as it is in the middle of oxford street opposite River Island down the ally. When we arrived 27 May 2021 we walked up and down so many times and couldn’t find a “1 Market Court” we then asked a man standing outside a door in a suit.He said it should be somewhere on the road. Still couldn’t find it so called up and was told to come to the “blue door” which was the door the man in the suit was standing outside doing security guard. He told us that it was actually 26 Market Court then checked his clip board and went inside and asked and then came back out. Which was very dodgey and a big red flag from the start. We then went in and it was no place for children, the music was pumping and there was two girls walking around half naked inside that were also going for modelling. Inside we met “Amber Dixon” (Her fake name) a mixed race girl who greeted us and told us what order the shots will be taken, we were also introduced to “Rae Brown” (Her Fake name) who was mixed race tom Boy with green eyes she told us she will be the one assessing my brother. We then started with the photo shoot and took photos inside and outside. Afterward,were told to wait on the sofa as the photos were sent out to all their top clients of big retail stores and we would soon be told if he was successful or not. Meanwhile “Amber and Rae” walked in and out from the side door constantly acting like they were busy doing something. We were then called into a room and “Rae” went on to congratulate us and told us you need 15 points and at least 1 job offer to be successful and told us my brother got 17 points and 2 job offered already lined up for him. The smile on my brothers face warmed my heart he was so proud of himself. We were so happy and explained to “Rae” we had just recently lost our father to coronavirus and our dad was always the one who would call my brother a model and that’s why we were so happy. The disgusting excuse for a human being “Rae” still went on to take advantage of vulnerable people And scam us and that for me is the most disgusting thing. The way she spoke to my little brother getting his hopes up and and him opening up to her after everything we have been though is the most hurtful thing to me. After telling us that my brother was successful they told us that “fisher price” the toy company definitely want my brother for their advert. After giving us this good news she went on to explain to us we need to invest into him so that they can set up all the appointments for him and do all the work. The explained Package (number 1 was a £1000 investment and he can only do modelling shop window advertising) .
(Package number 2 was £2000 and he could model for Shop windows magazines and advertisements.)
(Package number 3 Was £3000 he could model for shop windows, magazines advertisements and TV) she then went on to explain why package number 3 was the best because he can do extras in movies and it is the best investment for him and by looking at how great he was and how successful he was he will do best in package number 3. This looked for legit and so realistic as she was showing us everything on her computer and even showed us an email from fisher price saying how they wanted him for their advert in two weeks time and by then we would have made most of our investment back. She then left the room and we discussed it. All of a sudden this big man walks in with an American accent and tells us he is one of the heads of the company in LA and he only flys in twice a year to London to recruit models and he said He is so impressed with my brothers modelling skills for a 5 year old and if we go for package number 3 which was Willing to invest £500 to him because there was already clients wanting to buy his modelling photos and he doesn’t want anything into return he would just love him to be part of their modelling team. They pushed us and brainwashed us so much by this time we had been there for 3 hours with no food or drink and pumping music so we went for package number 3&paid £2500. They showed us his online page they were setting up for people to pick him for modelling and let us know the name of his own personal website where he will receive lots of publicity . We got a receipt and congratulations paper she said we’d get emails of the upcoming job,Our contract and would get phone+ zoom calls all week to train my brother for modelling. All phone numbers are fake. We never received any of the sort from them Never got deposit back They’re vile animals I don’t know How they sleep at night. How are they getting away with It

This think happen to me as well,I payed deposit £50 and on the shouting day I payed £1000 paund and they offered a job for my 11years daughter for 5/6 June 2021 but I did have any call or email to confirm this,I email them but nobody reply,the name of the guy was Oscar,before I payed he was saying u have the job for ur daughter if not here is the camera who register everything and you can coming back..he was pushing me to pay with this dirty games...I want they to pay for what they did and what they doing everyday to people..

I was booked with SF ticket bookers, paid a £50 deposit then after the photoshoot was told my son was successful, they work for next and gap only, the consultant was Rae brown and read an email from a company that was interested to give my son a job at the end of the month that I shouldn’t purchase the picture but pay a deposit for a year contract between £1000-£3000 I said I didn’t have money called my partner and said it’s maybe a made up thing I went back to say I don’t have money unfortunately but then she proposed to put money for my son and once he goes to the job she can get the money back and asked how much I can put in today and can pay the rest before he gets to the job so I ended up paying £396 and asked to send me the copy of what I have signed by email as the writing was small and reception was bad there so couldn’t go through my mails. She/ he (Rae) gave me the receipt which was attached with a congratulation page a page at the back I did not pay attention to thinking was a copy of the contract and then said you can have the memory stick, I was surprised thinking was a gift of success, as She/He said we don’t get the pictures. when I got home wanted to sit and read it through it was just an A4 sheet receipt then went to my mail and the subject was sales form saying I have purchased the memory stick and once you leave the place you can’t get anything back, and that they don’t offer jobs. I reported them to the bank and the police, the money goes to different place , my £50 deposit of attendance was paid with SF ticket bookers and the other money was with S&G photography, they are actually making you pay for the photos but they are stupid it won’t last forever, there is another consultant call Sophia White, these people use fake names we need to gather and make them regret 07891362393
PS: I hope anyone is reading me before going there or any other studio calling for an assessment; No Modeling agency will ask you for upfront money, by law, you can check on gov.uk so these people are just working in an ordinary studio trying to make more money by telling lies. A modelling agency assess you by telling you couple of things to do via mail then you send it back over to them by mail then will make their decision, no money involve. If you want to do filming then the agency will make you a portfolio that will only cost between £120-150 but no money has to be paid for modelling photography, I hope this helps

A sophisticated scam!!! Exactly what happened to most of you guys happened to me ... After my daughter applied through modelselect.co.uk We ended up paying the £50 deposit through SF ticket bookers ! When our daughter “passed” the audition session she was offered a job with fashion Nova the next two weeks ! Also they mentioned that my daughter needed training and offered zoom training by “Rae Brown” my daughter is so gutted....I am in the process of reporting the scam and trying to retrieve my £500 deposit back.

Hi everyone, I've read your comments and I'm really sorry for all of you guys. I went with my dother aswell we pay the £50 deposit. When we arrived I ask first the deposit and then we can continue. But they said to me the can do like that, I need to wait 4 working days to get my money back. What can we do to stop them now. Before more people are victims. I will come any were for them to report them and stop them.
