Ordered a Cardo and had to pay customs and vat BUT Louis were perfect to their word! Send a photo of the charges to them and received payment in 2 days! Perfect product, quick delivery, and fantastic service! Rarely do we see this standard of customer service in the UK. We’ll done Louis, I will be back!
Louis Motorrad tell us about vat duty
just to let anyone in the u.k ordering from this company you will be charged Despite goods clearly advertised as VAT and duty paid for UK customers, items were retained by parcel force pending payment of VAT and duty!!
Customer services contacted for advice and I was asked to pay since then louis has paid for my customs duty and updated there website I have changed Mt rate from one star 🌟 to 4 .. they refunded my difference and it should have been a 5 star 🌟
Although my first visit wasn't good, the store manager made it up with me and therefore gets a 10/10!!
First visit was a disaster because they sold me a ladies jacket instead of a males jacket. Because I live like 60km away from the store I asked for a compensation because it was clearly their fault and so I had to go back to exchange it and do another 120km.
The store manager, Tim I guess, was very kind and agreed to give me discount on what I purchased. So I went back to the store and Tim himself accompanied me the whole time searching another jacket . He really was very patient and gave me a lot of advice about what I should consider when buying a jacket. I surtenly saw his intentions to make it up with me so he would have, despite what happened, a satisfied and happy customer! He also gave me the discount as promised. Thx Tim you admitted you guys made a mistake and you wanted to make it up with me. I surtenly will come back to your store next time!
returned for the second time
Made an order more than one month ago, when it arrived to Spain it was returned to Germany due to lack of customs document, they sent it again...and today it was returned back due to the same reason for the second time, so I´ve requested a refund
500€ helmet came scratched and customer support is a mess
I bought a 500€ helmet and it came with multiple scratches, customer service has a new person in every new email i send and they all decide on different things.
For example, i was told they sent me a replacement helmet but that was not true, he referred to an order i had placed on a extra visor and told me it was my helmet replacement which it wasnt and he should have checked that.
Another one told me i wont get a replacement for my helmer and only credit to my account instead
Another one told me i could get a 30€, i then asked them if they can garantue the safety of the helmet and they just responded with “if you have any concerns with the safety of your helmet, please return it”.
I think its totally unprofessional of a company to lay that off on me and ask if I think its safe, it should be guaranteed safe when i receive it. Especially when were talking about something so crucial as you helmet.
Good item, quick delivery
Ordered a helmet on the Thursday night, got it delivered to the UK on the following Tuesday. Everything as it should be. No hassle from Parcel Force. If I had a minor quibble, it's that I didn't get an email telling me it had been despatched.
Horrible attitude towards customers
I ordered two pairs of shorts, same size but different colours. Shipping was really fast. When I unpacked them I noticed that there was a significant size difference between them. I contacted the sender, sent photos. Their answer was "we can seen see they are slightly different but there is nothing we can do and you can send them back to us for a refund". Althought the difference is around 2 inches (meaning one pair is one size up). I paid £8 for delivery and it doesn't make much sense to spend another £8 to send them back on my expenses. Usually when it's senders fault, customers are being given free return labels. Obviously those guys have a lot to learn. Very disappointed.
Not owning up to a mistake.
I want to say that I've ordered of Louis.ie before and everything went fine.. wish I could say the same thing this time.
Order for a Dainese suit and gloves was placed, acknowledged and money taken out of the account on the 13/05/2024.
A week later, order was still not shipped which made me send an email asking was there a holdup.
2 days later I got a response saying that my order was under process of being shipped with no specific dates.
14 emails later and 24/05 I get an email saying that the suit is unavailable and refund is on it's way but they sent me the gloves in a seperate package with absolutely no remorse for lost time.
As a last email I just pointed out I won't be needing the gloves without a matching suit to what mr. Valerij responded with: "We will forward your request to the DHL department"
Not even an apology for all this time lost, let alone for a paid track day missed etc.
Update: Even after cancelling the order staff decided to send separately to me, I’ve still received it and had to go through the effort of sending it back.
Too much mess has happened from what should have been a simple order
Awful company to deal with
Awful company to deal with, sent my item wrong address. Ended being held at custom for one month. Did nothing to resolve the situation … emailed about 15 times. They are useless and incompetent, avoid them at all costs !!! Item ended up being shipped back to them. After 1 month of chasing they refunded me but less then what I paid ….
Things went bad!
This company was fine when things were going well. My issue started when my product went wrong, It was an LED headlamp, the LED burned out after about an hour or two of use, I contacted the company for a replacement but they just fobbed me off to the manufacturer, I explained my contract was with them as the retailer as it had only been a matter of days , I also contacted the manufacturer and they quite rightly explained that I needed to take it up with Louis, which I already knew of course. Well here I am a couple months down the line and I’ve heard nothing, just ghosted. I was sold a product that is broken, not fit for purpose and there’s nothing I can do about it short of taking them to court which is frankly pointless. What a bunch of crooks.,, As far as I’m concerned the measure of a good company is how they handle things when they don’t go well and I’m afraid this has been bad, If I ever end up back in Germany I will be sure to take my broken useless headlamp with me where upon I shall deliver it in person to the CEO…
Delivery time not reliable and bad customer service
I am very dissatisfied. Delivery time is 1-3 working days and after 3 working days the order has still not been dispatched. Customer service only gives you standard phrases like "we have a lot to do" or "it takes longer for new customers". What a load of garbage! The first and last time I bought something from Louis.

Ripping off customers
Very low quality helmet, after a few wears helmet had started to fall aparts, I returned helmet but they didn't even refund the whole amount, they refund you without shipping costs. Also you need to pay for return shipping, so you lose quite a lot just for returning defective item. Don't buy from this site!
Ordered a Rev’It jacket at a great…
Ordered a Rev’It jacket at a great price. I was then able to track the package through to delivery. Had to pay UK import duties which Louis refunded, without quibble, promptly. Very happy. Make sure you know the correct size before ordering and then it’s happy days.

Louis sent me the wrong order, then was rude in customer support and now deletes my reviews where I placed my frustration, do not trust this site and the reviews.

They promise to refund your customs fees but they won’t, what they WILL do is keep fobbing you off and ignoring you. It’s been a month since I sent over the customs documents and they’re doing nothing, so a stove that should have been a reasonable cost and was bought as a gift has cost me an extra £50, which is £50 that I didn’t have to spare.
Appalling customer service and they should be ashamed.
