Excellent buying experience

Brilliant company to deal with. Prices are extremely competitive, ordering is easy, communication is fantastic and delivery is very fast. Item purchased was top quality. Packaging was very good and tracking updates were spot on. My 2nd order is on its way and it certainly won't be the last. Highly recommended on all counts.

Import taxes 😞

I live in the UK and I Bought some motorbike boots from this company but when purchasing it wasn't made clear or wasn't obvious that once the boots were in the UK that I had to pay customs tax but after some emails and sending them proof I was able to get a refund on the customs tax. The prices for this company were good just bare in mind the potential customs tax when purchasing. 👍🏻

Terrible terrible terrible
I ordered and haven't receive my order. Called the contact center, no one is replying. They show in their website service till 22pm but the phone says 18pm. Rude service and unprofessional. I am still trying to get my money back

Ordered an AlpineStars hoodie as I…

Ordered an AlpineStars hoodie as I couldn’t get the size and colour I wanted in the UK. I was a bit sceptical about the promise of duty and VAT being refunded but I decided to take the risk as I really wanted the hoodie. After a week I got an invoice for the customs charges which I paid, the clothing arrived the next day, well packaged and in perfect condition. I emailed Louis about the charges and had a response in a couple of days, I sent a picture of the invoice and the delivered box with duty paid sticker on and had a full refund in 3-4 days. Not quite as straightforward as ordering in the UK but the service from Louis was actually very good, I would happily use them again.

Received opened used items instead of new.

I purchased two new high-end mirrors for a motorcycle, and received items that had obviously been opened and returned.

Both items had different protective covers removed and both were damaged.

I have contacted Louis Motorad and expect to have return shipping paid or receive a full refund, used items cannot be sold as new.

BEWARE I ordered a Schuberth helmet C3…

BEWARE I ordered a Schuberth helmet C3 which is still in Post Office waiting payments of VAT and extra fees, after reading another Trustpilot review that’s where it’ll stay and be returned to Louis Motorrad as the previous reviewer didn’t get his money back from them even though they told him to pay and he’d get a refund. I called the Post office who advised me it was the customs and excise that correctly added the VAT and fees, I’ve tried to talk to Louis-Motorrad but they don’t pick up left my number for a call back still waiting, I will not use them again as something is obviously fishy with this company.

Disappointed beyond belief.

Disappointed beyond belief.
Took 20 days to arrive, not to my house, but to a local post office. Had to pay £81 import tax to get the boots!
Never ever again.
Communication was non existent.
Customer care lacking beyond belief.
Not happy.
AVOID AVOID!!

Puig downforce spoilers for zh2

Ordered Puig downforce spoilers for my zh2. When I ordered I was a little apprehensive that they would arrive.
I was given a tracking number and that was updated daily.
Customs did hold the package as they wanted an additional £41import tax. I paid the tax and they arrived the next day. I contacted Louis and they refunded the £41 within 2 days.
Great company and highly recommended as the parts were cheaper to get than from the Uk.

A very good company to use.

Wasnt sure about this company when I ordered a new lid, it arrived very well packaged, unfortunately it wasn't for me but I contacted them about a return, I repacked it and with all the prepaid paperwork etc, sent it back and they refunded, it probably took about 2 weeks from ordering to retuning and getting a full refund. I would definitely recommend these guys.. Also the customer service was second to non.

Superb service Start to Finish

Bought a Nolan Helmet and saved a ton of money. These lids go for up to £300 in the uk but this one from Louis Moto cost be nearly £100 less. I had to pay UK customer charges but the guys at Louis moto refunded these charges. Never ordered from overseas before so my patience wasn't the best but the money saved made it worth it.

Great purchase into UK

Recently ordered a tanklock bag. The promise of NO charges to UK was correct and I saved money over UK purchase.
Friendly CS, good communications, and speedy delivery.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!

3 months ago I bought a Shark Helmet

3 months ago I bought a Shark Helmet, on the order comments I clearly indicate that the items has to be delivered in the days indicated (3 working days) because after that will be too late, I planned a trip and the helmet was for riding. I received an email the day after of buying the item indicating me that the helmet will be delivered 7 days later, so I wrote to Louis indicating that the delivery will not be longer good and I asked to cancel it, they said OK (I have the mails). 2 days later the parcel was sent. I left the country for 3 weeks, the helmet was not received because none was at home. I wrote to Louis again asking about the refund situation, they said we will proceed to refund it as soon as the helmet return to our warehouse, I said OK. Helmet returned 30 days after arriving to France. Now, 3 months after that, the Helmet is not with me, then money neither. They don't answer anymore and then never said when the money will be refunded, except for an automatic answer saying it will be done by PayPal, I check the account every day, nothing yet.

New Helmet - Great price and service

Ordered a helmet with duty and VAT pre-paid. The courier cocked up as usual and charged £70 extra but Louis Moto refunded it straight away and dealt with the issue themselves.
Great helmet and great price as well.
Highly recommended.

Great price. Great service to resolve issues.

Great price. I ticked a box for Louus.de to handle all the customs charges.
Unfortunately UK customs gaueld to read the clear paperwork included in the parcel. Louis.de asked that I pay the repeated customs charge, send them proof of payment, then they refunded me.
Great service and speedy delivery from Louis de. Shame we (in the UK) have to shop abroad to access fairer prices. Why are UK prices so high?
