Smooth experience in Melbourne — easy booking, hassle-free drop-off/pick-up, no issues. A bit odd leaving bags in a shop instead of a dedicated room, but it worked fine. Tried Bologna twice and ran... See more

I liked that the storage point was very near from my hotel and easy access.
The person in charge to receive my luggage was very kind. I highly recommend this service. 😊

Very convenient service when there is no luggage storage facility at the airport.

In North America, where there aren't train stations everywhere with lockers, the ability to find a place to put your stuff somewhere safe and secure is a game changer. As a tourist, on a travel day, it can change the entire trajectory of your day, where you can go, what you can see. Without a place to store your gear, you can be limited. So, this is a great thing!

So easy and the staff was super friendly and helpful!

Price mismatch at location. Then after the booking they bombard you with retention email and questionnaires, I counted them, 8 emails not regarding by booking directly (confirmation, drop of and retrieval of bags). No unsubscribe button in the emails, Also, I got an email just now thanking me for a review i did not write!

I'm not a seasoned traveller by any means, but I've made a few leisure trips this year where I didn't want to carry a backpack on a city break, and I have used the service twice (we'll come to that 🤣). Now that I've had more experience, I understand it's very expensive, compared to other services and options.
Also, beware the SMALL PRINT as they charge you for a "no-show" 🤣
It's sharp practice at its very basic level, which some people know as 'enshittification'. If you ARE a seasoned traveller reading this, you'll already know you've got to have your wits about you when you're travelling. But hey, they're a business trying to get by, I get it. Times are tough out there. I'm just a dolt who's trying to self-organise a trip with a lot to get right 🤣
I've effectively paid 12€ for nothing, so I might as well get some value out of it with this review and I hope I can save someone else some money into the bargain. And LuggageHero have earned this review.
The rental doesn't start until you turn up, and I guess I could have cancelled in advance, so it's on me. Reading other reviews it looks like you're actually paying for the BOOKING whether you use it or not.
My advice now is to shop around as there are better, cheaper alternatives out there. If you're in a hotel, check with reception to see if they offer the service (without naming anyone, there's even a chain of 'first class' budget hotels in the UK that will 'stash' your bags securely and professionally via a rival online service); check with the rail company's website to see if they operate station lockers, etc.
EDIT 19/11/2025: Thanks for the response (in which you pretty much confirm what I said) but I'll leave things as they are and pay the fee, so that I can genuinely leave this review as is and let it serve as a warning/reminder to others not to make the same mistake as I did 🫡

This was such a great relief. I was in Vancouver for an event and didn't want to carry my luggage around. My friend told me about LuggageHero and i went on my phone and booked them in a minute. Everything went very smooth. They are a courier service company who also happens to store your luggage for a fee. I recommend this service.

The 1st location we booked at Hay Street Mall stopped working with LuggageHero and no one informed us of it. I only found out because I happened to ask LuggageHero a question about our booking, a few days before our trip. The person working at the location we ended up using, also at Hay Street Mall, suggested that instead of buying luggage protection insurance, we should give them a tip instead! Not sure how a tip was going to cover our luggage if anything had happened to it!

I’ve used this app twice, in two different cities. Both times have been smooth and the attendings were very friendly. Everything always came back untouched. Would definitely use this service in the future.

I paid for storage, £12 for a day which I did not use. I'm happy to pay for this. Luggage Hero has charged my CC an extra £14 on top. Their explanation is that it "helps cover the partner location’s preparation and reserved space, even if the bags weren’t stored". Preparation that I have already paid for. Absolutely ridiculous. I shall be contesting this charge with my CC provider and will not use Luggage Hero in future.

Deceptive booking practice and insecure "storage".
I thought I was leaving my bags in lockers at Southern Cross Station, because that's what I selected. Not until after I had paid was I given the address of a local cafe near the station, where the bags were on display in front of the counter, in plain view and easy access of everyone who walked in to buy food that day. The only security was the very young (and very pleasant it must be said) teenage girls behind the counter. I would eat there, but I am one and done with Luggage Hero.

Used Howe Street, Vancouver BC luggage hero, walking distance from Cruise ship terminal. Easy to book online, staff were friendly and made sure we stopped the timer on the app to end the payment.

Friendly people, secure site, per-hour pricing. They have it all.

Needed this service as a last minute delay with our rooms happened for 4 adults in downtown Rome. Was the first time using the service anywhere and we were in and out in 10 min, allowing us to make our tour times without dragging around 10 bags :)
Would use anytime with no hesitation.

I’ve used Luggage Hero in different cities in the past couple of years. Albeit being on the pricier side, I’ve never had any issues with the system to date. Shop owners have always been friendly and eager to help, and often open for long hours which gave us more flexibility to enjoy the cities we visited.

Our first time using Luggage Hero and will definitely use them again, friendly and efficient. Only small hiccup was the staff member on the front desk was new and didnt fully understand the concept, however he called his manager and after a very short conversation we were on our way and our luggage was safely stored waiting our return.
