if i can put no stars i would actually. Lyft in windsor takes a long time. They make me wait 10-30 minutes.

Where do I begin? I scheduled a Lyft ride to pick up my partner at SeaTac airport. When I went on the app there was a way to choose the rider, which I did. When I went in to confirm, it showed a completely different person who was NOT on my contact list. I cancelled the ride (it was at least 5 hours before the scheduled ride), and started over again. And AGAIN, it defaulted to someone else. I cancelled and re-booked THREE times and still it showed a stranger. When I tried to reach Lyft on their HELP section, I kept getting a friggin bot. No way to reach Lyft, nor to reach a real person. When I finally was connected to an agent, they could not help at all. In the meantime my partner arrived at the airport and there was no way to reach the driver whom was shown to pick up this stranger. I finally had to cancel and my parter had to book his own ride. And I was charged $26 for cancelling late. In the app, where it says to edit or cancel a ride, when you hit on it it just allows you to cancel, not edit. Then worst experience I've ever had and I'm done with Lyft! I'm sick of bots and sick of trying to navigate a defective app.

I tend to have pretty large fares one time I thought the stars were on my side and I was close to the assignment I had that day. First it was the old "I'm here, where are you-^th time they're usually at the wrong side different street so I average over 25 minutes waiting sometimes. When SEBASTIAN showed up I was now late for work-that led to losing another day at that location and Sebastian claimed I spilled "something " on his already stained seat. I was charged another 75.00 wiping out my account and all I had was a backpack I never took off, and my phone I was on the phone the whole time with my company so a 9.00 ride cost almost 100.00 I had no liquid but water in m backpack and the backpack wasn't wet. They defended this lying thief to the end and I hope I never deal with them again, their Zen desk swore I was the liar and wouldn't consider anything it was"this won't work out for you it will not give you your intended result"Unbelievable the should have at least cut the fee in half because I swear I had nothing but my phone in my hand ggggggrrrrrrr I regret every cent these jerks have had. No Id never tip Sebastian that ride total cost me 75. +40 that day and 120. for the future assignment .

Frustrating trying to put my address in
Everytime I try imputting my full address it only puts in part and tells me to search other option for my address so frustrating.
Kicked Me Out, Then Charged $20 Dollars More. Unethical Behavior
I have been using Lyft for years. I no longer will and I will make sure others in my business do not, either. I was at the airport and made a reservation for a ride which was going to be $54. It was a busy time, so it was giving me a countdown to when I would know who my driver was. After about ten minutes, I looked, and my ride request was totally gone. It had just vanished. When I made a new one, it was over $70...almost 20 more than before! This is extremely unethical behavior and I will NOT be using Lyft again.

⭐ 1 Star – Driver Support System Designed to Avoid Responsibility
I am an active Lyft driver, and this has been one of the worst support experiences I have ever dealt with.
Passengers vomited inside my vehicle, left gum stuck to the seats, and exceeded the allowed passenger capacity for the ride type they requested. I submitted clear photo evidence immediately after the trip.
I contacted support at 2:00 AM.
I did not receive a response until almost 11 hours later.
I replied again around 7:00 PM, and more than 9 hours have passed with no response.
What is even more concerning is this:
Support agents respond after many hours of silence, wait literally 1–2 minutes, and if you do not reply immediately (because you are driving, resting, or simply not holding your phone), they automatically close the chat as if the issue has been resolved.
This is not support.
This is a system designed to close tickets without solving them.
Meanwhile:
My vehicle was left contaminated and out of service.
I lost valuable working hours and income.
The cleaning fee has not been properly handled.
The ride type violation (extra passengers) has not been addressed.
Drivers assume all the risk while the platform avoids accountability.
I will be sharing this experience publicly, along with the photos, so other drivers understand how these situations are handled.
This level of driver support is unacceptable and deeply disappointing.

This company is a greed driven, price gouge machine! Inconsistent GPS system bought from waste management that needs to be trashed, seeing as you took away the option for drivers to use their own app! This is insanely inconsiderate to the driver and rider, so i will continue to bribe and find a work around to your absolutely trash service. Burn in hell!!!

Long time user Notice total deterioration in service in last few months and increasing difficulty in getting satisfactory resolution . Arrival times are almost always misleading . Drivers claim they arrive minutes before they actually arrive Toddy waited ten minutes on street while a car remained flashing it was 4 mins away 9 blocks away Then screen says driver leaving in 12 seconds . It of course never arrived A no show charge was assessed. Challenging it , I am sure purposefully as part of the business mod l , is time capsule nsing and neigh impossible
DON'T USE LYFT
I was waiting on the curb at the exact pickup time, there were others getting into their rideshare...MY driver drove by me, didn't even slow down...it was after 11:15PM in 29' weather...and he never came back. We waiting until 11:55 HOPING he would return but never did. We took a taxi home. There was no way to contact driver. the LYFT app is a joke, A BAD ONE! And he charged me for a NO SHOW!!!!!I will dispute that after I write this review: DON'T USE LYFT!
Incompetent companies
It's another work company hiring people that don't know how to do their jobs and then hiding behind silence and not responding and not curing the problems this is the problems with community college hieraries foreigners being hired and woke people who've been raised on social media for 25 years of being hired they don't know how to solve problems they don't want to solve problems they don't want to go to work they don't even want to get out of bed but somehow they're there giving us all the worst service we've ever had in this country. Lift is another good idea going bad because the owners are idiots. They continue to come to pick me up at my address and the driver's move three to four houses up from where I live to 137 why would they go to 137 when I live at 133? It's absolutely ridiculous and I blame MAPS everyone uses GPS for some reason they're so off TRUE LOCATIONS the systems are never updated, corrected on these websites. Why do people permit information throughout America even on Google searches to be so off and so wrong and not fix the problems?
Bait and switch pricing
I booked a ride with a price listed that seemed reasonable. When I arrived and the driver closed out the ride, the charge was much higher than the price I had clicked on and agreed to. When I tried to dispute the charge, I couldn’t even get a person to deal with. Just an AI chatbot telling me the charge was correct.
LYFT IS TERRIBLE
I will never take LYFT again. I gave them multiple chances to do the right thing, but they would not. I called for a driver and after waiting ten minutes the driver randomly cancelled! I called for another and after the app telling me he was three minutes away….it cancelled. I stupidly called for a third driver and he did arrive. The problem was that with each driver the price rose and rose……it went from $45 to $74 in minutes!!!! I called to explain this to them-good luck getting a real customer service rep- and basically they told me I had no recourse because I confirmed the driver. Yes, but I did not cancel the first two! Terrible!!!!! AVOID LYFT!!!!! Take UBER!!!!!
Not a LIFT To Me
I tried to book a ride with Lyft on the 17th and again on the 20th and couldn’t. Since when does it take two credit cards just to request a ride? And not a single human to speak with. If companies are going to be run by AI, maybe they should be used by AI — not people. Why the fake listed email?
Bad customer service
I have been a 5-star Lyft customer for the past four years, using the platform very frequently and earning multiple top rider badges. Despite my loyalty and history, I feel that customers are not adequately protected when disputes arise.
I respectfully ask Lyft’s shareholders and management to review their terms, customer protection policies, and investigation procedures to ensure fairness and proper support for both riders and drivers.
Over the past two months, I experienced two serious issues that were not properly resolved:
1. February 18 – Cleaning Fee Dispute
My ride took place from 6:04 AM to 6:20 AM. I was later charged a cleaning fee based on photos that were taken between 7:17 AM and 7:20 AM — nearly one hour after my ride ended.
I requested verification and documentation supporting the charge. However:
• There was no verification that the vehicle shown in the photos was the same Audi Q5 Sportback used for my ride.
• There was no documented date, time, GPS stamp, or metadata clearly connecting the photos to my trip between 6:04 AM and 6:20 AM.
• There was no evidence demonstrating that I caused the alleged damage.
I reviewed the photo metadata, which confirms the images were taken approximately one hour after my trip ended. Lyft refused to provide additional documentation or explain their investigation process.
Charging customers without clear proof and transparency is concerning. There should be a fair, documented review process before fees are applied.
2. December 28 – Lost Property Incident
During a ride on December 28, I asked the driver if I could add a stop, and the driver agreed. When I briefly exited the vehicle, the driver left with my bag and money still inside.
Lyft customer service did not assist in recovering my property, and the driver remains active on the platform. This experience was extremely distressing and left me feeling unsupported.

I believe Lyft must strengthen its customer service and investigation procedures to truly protect both riders and drivers. Loyalty and a strong rider history should matter, and disputes should be handled with transparency and documented evidence.
I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves accountability and customer protection standards.
Tried Lyft and won't use it again.
I joined Lyft and was supposed to get $10 off my first 2 rides. They only gave it off my 1st. I tried to contact the company and there is no method to do so. You can only dispute an error on the drivers part.
My second ride was to the airport. It was supposed to take 15 minutes. The driver obviously didn't know the city or the way to the airport and got lost following the GPS. The ride took 50 minutes, 3 times the original quoted rate. The route was ridiculous using the worst backstreets while I could see the highway which had little traffic. Will never use them again.
Cancelled my reservation for 4:30AM
I reserved a lift for 4:30 in the morning to go to the airport, with two minutes remaining before they were to arrive they canceled. I waited for good 5 minutes there was no replacement so I had to go with their competitor Uber.

Really needed Lyft to come thru, they didn't
I'd used Lyft before and they provided good service. This time, however, they really failed. Having had total knee replacement surgery and needing to cancel my prior physical therapy appt because another ride-hailing company canceled my ride at the last minute, I absolutely needed Lyft to come through for this rescheduled appt. Nope. The pick-up time came and went and checking the app revealed they were 'trying to find a driver.' Why does Lyft confirm a ride that isn't confirmed? Why send me an alert 60-minutes before that my ride would be there in an hour? Completely obliterates any chance of trying to find another way to get to the appt on time. I had to cancel my PT appointment again!
Lyft's referral system is broken and they are cheater
Lyft's referral system is broken and their support is nonexistent. After successfully referring a first-time user, the app failed to credit my account. I provided all necessary proof via chat, but was trapped in a 3-hour loop of agents disconnecting and restarting the conversation. It is clear they have no intention of honoring their promotions. Very dishonest business practice.
