I got a voucher for Christmas and chose a lovely flower pressing kit..and then I saw more that I liked, I've just finished an embroidery kit, and Needle felted some Easter eggs, and I'm just finishing off a rather impressive crocheted Berber basket with tassles! The kits are a pleasure to open with everything you need included, and the instructions are clear with pictures of the tricky bits. They are posted out fast as well!

I was given a 3 month subscription as a birthday present and have really enjoyed learning new crafts. The monthly boxes are beautifully packaged and the materials are top quality. The full instructions are easy to follow even for beginners. Their designs and creations are gorgeous. When the subscription ended, I took out another for myself. Customer service is excellent with any queries or questions being answered promptly.

I've been getting MakeBox semi regularly since the first box and I love them. It's a great way to try out a new craft with clear instructions and good quality materials included. I went from buying the odd box to subscribing and when a craft doesn't appeal, it's easy enough on the new website to skip a box - although I regularly end up regretting missing a month when I start to see other people's beautiful finished projects popping up on the facebook community page!
It's worth remembering that this is a fairly new company with a small team so occasionally it might take a day or two to get a reply to an email or (very rarely) a bit missing but I've always had positive responses when I've had to message and extra or replacement items sent out super quickly when I've needed them. Elle is a wonder and the owners Hannah and Brendan are very active on the chat or the community page to respond to questions. Boxes used to take a while to arrive when the company first launched but turnaround is much quicker now.
The new online workshops are really helpful and the ability to buy just the pattern if you want to use your own materials is a great addition to the offering.
Now I must go, my latest box just arrived :)

Been subscribed to Makebox since beginning of 2020 and I find it amazing! Like any business there can sometimes be mistakes (missing parts/spelling errors) but it doesn’t impact their professionalism or fabulous kits they offer. Any troubles are rectified very quickly, I’ve had emails to say a missing item or book has been sent out before even realising it was missing! Love this company and recommended everyone to try 🥰

Started a subscription to these quality craft boxes during lockdown about 2 years ago. It's a great opportunity to try out new crafts I wouldn't have picked up in a shop. If for any reason I have needed to skip a months box this has been easy to do with a simple email to the office. I've always found materials are of a superior quality. Occasional extra zoom 'craft makes' from Hannah an added bonus.

I love Makebox. I’ve been with them since the very beginning and to see this very cute and awesome business grow is amazing. They have been conscientious with products and I love how everything you need comes in this box every month or when you you purchase extra boxes. I do a little excited spin every time a box arrives. Hannah and Brendan who own the business really create a community with Makebox too with craft along lives on instagram and there is even a Facebook community page which is great if you want to ask other makers questions or show off your makes. I will always be a Makebox fan.😘 🪡 🧵

I love the flexibility of the subscription packages, I’m singed up to monthly but they release the info of what the craft is 14 days before payment so I can skip a month if I don’t want it, which to be honest only ever happens when I have a pile of their other boxes to work through and even then that doesn’t always stop me as the boxes are all so beautiful - and I never want to risk not being able to get one in my the future! I love the personal side to makebox too - family ran business and great customer service, I love that you get comments directly from the owner when you post your creations and I’ve even made it into the newsletter a couple of times! Keep doing what you are doing guys! Hands down my favourite find from lockdown

I really love these boxes! They have helped me get through the last few years. They are really stress reducing. They are always inspiring and it has been lovely to try new crafts.

Just a follow up to my last review where you answered that I could cancel at any time: I never made the orders to begin with it was FALSE ORDERS generated by you. You also never said I could send the tat back to you. This is a lie. So I ‘canceled’ the orders only to find a notification for a new order a few days ago! How can this be? You are doing exactly what I am saying… generating new orders with my old details.

I have enjoyed being subscribed to makebox and trying out new crafts. However, I have recently cancelled my subscription as I have found the recent projects just not for me. The customer service is great, very friendly and you get quick replies and I love the skip/swap option. My only criticism is that I have found the instruction booklets often contain spelling errors/missing words and on certain projects (the crochet basket comes to mind) I think the photos and instructions could have been clearer for beginners. I have also had occasions where a box has come without the right amount of something (e.g only 1 wick holder in the candle box and missing fabric in the bunny box). Only small issues but it does sometimes feel that quality control is being missed.

Always very helpful, always reply to any questions. Good quality and good ideas .

Lovely choice of crafts , absolutely delighted with all the boxes I have tried and I look forward to doing another .I am on the embroidery bee and flowers at present , thank-you .

All the boxes I’ve had have been filled with high quality craft supplies and come with an instruction booklet filled with easy to follow written and picture instructions. In my opinion they are good value. The customer service has been fantastic and extremely helpful when I had a query.

Fab idea! Love the pack and the way it is detailed, I would suggest this could be for a experienced person rather than a first time as feels complicated.

Beautiful projects to make. Good quality materials, clear instructions and lovely packaging. Dispatch of pre ordered item was later than expected so would be good if expectations could be managed better but worth the wait.

I have achieved several embroidery hoops which I throughly enjoyed. The instructions are very clear easy to understand, the quality of the kits are superb, I really cant wait to do another,

Outstanding every time. It’s my best subscription box by far! It has everything I need to create the amazing little art and crafts projects and they look so beautiful around the house and the boxes and the creations are perfect as gifts too. I love them. One of my things to do for me time 😊
