Excellent customer service. My order went astray but following an email to the company (wrong department!) they responded quickly and resent my order. It arrived 24 hours later. Packaging and overall look of boxes really lovely. Have yet to start the kits but will certainly review - I got one including pattern and instructions and a second which provides info online.

I reached out to Makebox after I had misplaced the instruction booklet for a box purchased almost a year ago. Although the booklet was no longer available, they sent me a downloadable version within a few minutes of my enquiry and for no charge!

I love makebox. I really enjoy getting my craft box off them every month. Always beautifully packaged and a great mixture of lovely crafts to try. Recently I ordered some haberdashery from them which got returned to them by the post office as the parcel had got damaged on transit to me. Makebox were very good at keeping me informed of what was going on and why my parcel was delayed. I think their customer service is excellent. They go the extra mile. Very personal service. Highly recommend.

The selection of embroidery floss at this store is unmatched, and the fact that my order arrived within a few days made it even better.

I love these boxes. Each one is like a beautiful treat through the post- beautifully packaged, beautiful quality craft supplies- perfect for quality crafting time! There’s always a generous amount of everything, so if you make a mistake there’s some wriggle room- and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. I’m learning new techniques and gaining hobbies through these boxes- and the results are gorgeous things that I love having in my home. Also found customer service to be really brilliant- if I need to swap or replace anything it’s easy to get in touch, and my requests have been dealt with in a friendly and efficient way.

I’ve also always been impressed with the products I’ve bought in the past!

The customer service team are brilliant and always get back to you quickly. I have a monthly subscription and it’s really easy to cancel or switch and I always know when a box is about to turn up on my door. The boxes are beautifully presented and the instructions clear, when they’re not the online tutorials usually answer that for me. The reward system for points is very generous and I can quickly build up points to get extra boxes or those special limited boxes.

I really love the way MakeBox allows me to try so many different crafts and so far the boxes have been great. (I like them so much I have ordered some extras alongside my regular subscriptions.)
I have had a couple of issues, nothing major, but they were resolved easily through email and I have had no problem with their correspondence. They’re human and mistakes happen. I also really appreciate the way they reward loyalty, it’s not all just about getting new customers; in my experience, they also look after the ones they’ve got. Thank you, MakeBox!

Loving my first box with the beautiful hyper real flowers. They are beautiful and the instructions are well written

There were multiple mistakes made with my order. First the kit was missing from the parcel! Once that was sent the template needed to complete the project was missing from the kit. It took several emails to get them to send the complete order. At one point I was asked if I wanted them to send me the template! It would be impossible to use the kit without it so I was surprised that they needed to ask me this. Ultimately they did send everything but it required a lot of emails from me and I was disappointed that they didn’t apologise at any point.
Also the materials sent were low quality. I’d expect DMC or Anchor embroidery threads not some cheap non-branded thread.
A combination of the poor customer service and the poor quality of the materials means I’d be very unlikely to order again.

Love these kits - top quality, easy to use and outstanding results.

I joined make box 2 years ago & have had nothing but positive experiences, they are very flexible allowing you to skip monthly boxes or swap for a previous box. They always let you know what the next box is & wgen to skip by if you don't want to be charged. Obviously it's more expensive than buying the items individually but the idea is its a all on one kit to let you try various ctafts without commiting to buying all the kit. Highly reccomend, also makes a lovely gift!

I love MakeBox. They offer a variety of craft boxes which you can either buy as one-offs or as a subscription which works out cheaper. However, I’ve stopped my subscription as I have accumulated a lot of boxes but still dip in from time to time and buy one-offs if there’s a project I really can’t resist. The boxes are beautifully presented and the quality of the materials is excellent. Each box comes with a lovely instruction handbook with is very detailed and has lots of pictures for you to follow. I’ve learnt so many new crafts from using MakeBox. There’s a wide variety of crafts and of course not all will appeal but I’ve enjoyed taking on new challenges from making paper flowers to felting.
The team are very helpful and responsive and what really makes MakeBox different (in my opinion) is the great community they’ve built on Facebook. Here you can share your projects, sell (or buy) craft boxes that you haven't got round to doing and generally support like-minded crafters.
