I wanted to leave a review to say a huge thank you to Matt at the Maidstone Mamas & Papas store.

The first time I visited, I was just starting to get ideas about what we'd need for our baby. Matt was incredibly welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. I never felt pressured into buying anything, he genuinely just wanted to help and answer any questions I had, which made the whole experience really enjoyable.

A little while later, my parents very kindly decided they wanted to buy our travel system as a gift. My mum called the store and spoke to Matt, and once again he went above and beyond. He took the time to make sure she got the best value from her purchase and helped her make the most of the offers available, which I was so grateful for.

Excellent customer service is hard to come by, but Matt really made a lasting impression. He's a real credit to Mamas & Papas, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Maidstone store because of the experience we had. Thank you, Matt!

We visited the Chelmsford concession store to get an idea of what to buy for our daughter who’s due in October. James was very attentive and patient, explaining the different features of prams and the car seats. We also got shown some example cots and a next to me crib. We left feeling well advised and optimistic. Thank you James!

We had good experience shopping for our baby’s travel system in Chelmsford branch. Carmen helped us understand the different options and guided us towards choosing the right travel system to our needs. She was patient in answering our questions and made the process easier. We are happy with our purchase and appreciate her assistance.

I called and spoke to Holly about purchasing a pram bundle. Holly was very accommodating with a quick quote, delivery dates and provided details of offers that were available. Holly was very friendly and helpful.

As first-time parents, we didn’t really know where to start with prams, car seats, and everything else. That changed when we met Holly. She spent about an hour with us, walking through the products, showing us how everything works, and explaining the pros and cons in a really clear, easy-to-understand way. She was patient, knowledgeable, and never made us feel rushed. We left feeling much more confident about our purchase and what to expect. Really impressed with Holly—thank you for all your help.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience ordering from Mamas & Papas.

I was told on 3 separate occasions that my delivery was scheduled for Friday 24th July. This was confirmed by email from a member of staff, over the phone by customer services, and again in store when I was told a mattress couldn’t be added to the order because the delivery had already been processed and confirmed. My online account also showed the delivery date as 24th July right up until late that morning.

To make matters even more confusing, I received a DHL delivery slot for that afternoon, which I later discovered was only for a fittings pack. As some of the cotbed fittings received on my first delivery were faulty and therefore required replacement.

At around 11:10am on the day of delivery, after I’d taken annual leave to be at home, I received an email saying my delivery wasn’t happening and that it had been delayed by 5 days. I then spent over 30 minutes on the phone to customer services trying to understand what had happened. For them to tell me that it was an internal error and staff would be given the proper training to make sure this didn’t happen again. They also advised that they could bring the date forward by 1 day which is still 4 days after the agreed delivery date.

Wasting 2 days annual leave when pregnant and because of poor communication and internal errors is incredibly frustrating.

Following my complaint, Mamas & Papas offered a very small gesture of goodwill as an apology for the poor service. However given the repeated misinformation, the wasted annual leave, the last-minute delays and the amount of time Ive spent resolving an error that wasn’t mine, I don’t feel this adequately reflects the level of inconvenience caused.

Very disappointing service and I expected much better communication and customer service from this company and for the amount spent.

Danielle was amazing and made our experience very relaxing and personal. She had so much time for us and explained all the different payment options and plans we had to make everything as flexible as possible. She was so informed about all the products and had lots of knowledge. We came away and felt like we had a lovely experience and the best customer service we had received in a while. Amy C was incredible, she gave us so much of her time and didn’t make us feel rushed at all - she even had to extend our parking for us to give us more flexibility which was lovely! We got such a personalised experience, which was exactly what we needed as this was our first baby appointment and we needed a lot of information! Amy C was very knowledgable about all the products we asked about, but she also understood that we wanted most of all to learn about the pushchairs and she taught us everything. We ended up falling in love with the Maxi Cosi pram bundle and ordered it on the spot. Thanks again for all your help!

I had the best service from Amy and Hollie in Chelmsford Mamas and Papas, they were so informative and friendly, we bought one of the prams they recommended which is the Mamas and Papas Occarro 2, we are so happy and can’t wait for it to arrive!

We had our Buying for Baby session booked at Watford, and we were warmly welcomed by Hope, who was attentive, incredibly knowledgeable and quickly made us feel at ease, which resulted in a wonderfully relaxed and insightful appointment. Very needed for new parents with little to no knowledge. We could confidently choose our travel system because of Hope’s help, as well as take advantage of the specials.
Truly a wonderful experience and we’re so grateful to Hope for making big decisions feel like the right ones. Will recommend to anyone and everyone.

This is my first pregnancy so deciding what type of travel system I needed was going to be a mind field.

Me and my mum went to Mamas and Papas in Plymouth Next.
We were met by Esme(we think that’s her name) I cannot even tell you how incredible she was.
Considering my mum hasn’t had to look into prams for 20+ years and my first time, we left feeling as if we learnt something new and choosing a prams wasn’t as difficult as we anticipated.
She answered every single question we had, nothing was too much. And made it feel so simple and not overwhelming. Being shown how to use a pram with all different parts was brilliant, we walked away feeling really positive.

We had a not so great experience in a different brand store where the member of staff didn’t really know any answers to our questions or how to fold it down which was disappointing and made us feel extremely anxious.

From then having the experience with Esme, topped our expectations.

We cannot thank her enough for being so kind and friendly. She is a credit to your store.

I visited the store inside marks and Spencers at Cheshire Oaks and was assisted by Carol. She went so knowledgeable and helpful, making sure I understood and was happy with the fit of my child in a car seat that we didn't even originally purchase from them. Makes such a difference being able to talk to someone who is willing to go above and beyond to help you out. Carol is a true credit to the company!

Katie was so helpful and lovely she gave us so many demonstrations and tours of products which was so insightful. She really made what may have been a stressful time so fun and useful. We will be excited to return and get more products as we really enjoyed our experience.

We had a really great experience at the Stockton branch. We were assisted by Trish who was incredibly knowledgable, warm and helpful. We felt comfortable asking her questions as first time parents to be and we received comprehensive demonstrations on multiple travel systems making us feel really comfortable before making our purchase.

The personalized service and care provided by Jodie, Alice and Matt at the Maidstone branch was exceptional! From start to finish they were comprehensive, helpful and professional. My husband and I are extremely pleased with the standard of service at Mamas and Papas!

We attended a buying for baby appointment with Trish from the Stockton office. She was kind and informative in advising us as first time parents.

We went to the Peterborough branch last Saturday (25th July) and Becky went through all of our pram needs with expert understanding and explanation. Honestly can’t give her or the store enough praise for the fantastic service they provided

Lisa from Tamworth mamas &p papas was absolutely amazing patient and very knowledgeable on products made it a dream to choose ans purchase thing we had chosen, Lisa also helped us last year but unfortunately we lost the baby and we have returned full of upset and joybut she recognised us and gave me a hug and that was even more special, Lisa is an. Absolute credit to the company and special lady.

Had a great SA- Mo at the Mamas and Papas in White City, Westfield. Mo was really informative, and highlighted exactly what I needed as a new time mum, rather than trying to simply sell me anything. Learnt a lot from him, and appreciated his time and dedication. Made the process very easy and efficient.

My wife and I booked a one-to-one shopping experience and were delighted with the service. Kiya was knowledgeable, personable and very experienced. She made the whole experience fun and relaxing when it could have been overwhelming.

Her colleague, Ollie, who was still in training, was also very helpful and proved a deft hand at opening and closing the prams.

I would highly recommend that any soon to be parents take advantage of the one-to-one shopping experience in Southampton.
