McTears made the process of offering my sale items for auction simple and stress free. They kept me informed throughout and produced an excellent financial return on my sale items.
McTears the Auctioneers
Used McTear’s a few times. Always profession, always keep you informed. Always helpful and have found them to be a company you can thoroughly trust.
Selling at mctears
Excellent service - accurate estimate of items value. Slightly expensive to sell.
Excellent service 👏 thank you
McTears were amazing
McTears were amazing! They sold a range of items after a house move. The service was prompt, efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.
We have used McTears quite a few times…
We have used McTears quite a few times over the years and have always found it a good experience. They give advice about the items you want to sell and its up to you whether you go ahead and sell it or not. What you have to keep in mind, it all depends on the day who attends auction and wants to buy your item. You have to remember what ever you get for the item McTears will get their cut too, so sometimes you won't make much on an item. However we have found that it is a straightforward way of getting rid of things you no longer want and know someone else will get pleasure from...and if you are lucky, a wee profit for yourself too.

McTears staff are both engaging and knowledgable. The administration staff are particularly good as nothing seems too much trouble for them. From viewing to purchasing and delivering to the door a very pleasant experience always.
Customer intimacy
Your systems works good; automation is good but.... What is very much lacking is the personal interaction and the oppertunity to ask questions to people who know they are talking about. Your service department; probably young people, lack of knowledge and certainly lack of competence and mandate; not good. Customer intimacy is what you should build in your company profile. I clearly prefer to buy form a customer intimate auctioneer than a large, quite unpersonal and not connected to the customer company like yours.
Buy and sell with confidence
I've being buying and selling with McTear's for several years and have never had any problems with them. The staff are friendly and professional. I would recommend anyone selling with them. I won't recommend you buy but that is so I get things cheaper! They are really great. Deal with them with confidence.
