Very easy website to use to set up an affordable payment plan

I had a wonderful experience with Moorcroft, thanks to their professional and incredibly helpful employees. From the moment I interacted with them, I felt respected and valued as a customer. The staff were not only knowledgeable but also genuinely friendly and approachable, making the entire process smooth and pleasant. Unlike robotic or impersonal services, they took the time to listen to my needs and offered thoughtful, personalized assistance. It's clear that they care about providing excellent service and building positive relationships. I highly recommend Moorcroft for their professionalism and the respectful, good-hearted people they employ.

Fraudulently claiming for an unpaid bill when no amount due (and I checked with my mobile provider to be absolutely sure).
Using address details from 2 years ago - so don't know where they are buying their dodgy data from!!
Impossible to get through on phone to challenge them in person.
Website requires you to 'create an account' to register a complaint - why would I do that when I dont owe anybody anything??

Update 06052025: Moorcroft response does not cover the fact that there is no/has not been any debt between me and my mobile provider and there is no reason for them to be contacting. Mobile provider confirmed again today that they have not instructed Moorcroft.

When the rebellion comes, remember companies like this. Remember the people who work there. Remember how they treat the back bones of this country! Remember it and make sure you make them pay!!!! Tough doo doo when you live abroad and they won’t take you to court because they will be sanctioned! This is blackmail! Asking me to pay for something when all I’ve done is try and email 02 and gotten no response.
This is the era where we rip apart companies for not replying to our emails, getting us into debt& all whilst robbing us blind.
You will be sanctioned by the ombudsman and when the time comes and the uk has had enough, by god I would hide.

Scam?

Constantly chasing for an eBay debt in a name I don't know. Checked with eBay there's no debt on my account.

Tried to contact MDRL by phone and email and ignored.

UPDATE 01/05/25

Received a call from Noel which was triggered by this review. I explained to Noel that we'd had many SMS and calls asking for a name we weren't familiar with and each time were told they'd remove from the database, but obviously didn't action.

Noel found the phone number and promised faithfully we wont get further calls.

I'm pleased Noel phoned, but it's disappointing that a negative review is the only way to get action with so many companies.

Harassing, have specifically told them my situation on number of occasions that i can not afford to pay and am seeking a DRO. They will harass you with endless phone calls causing distress,

Absolutely pathetic! They and contact them and you can’t get through! You then try to use the “live chat” feature…. And all you get is a blank screen without your messages showing up. Just a bunch of pirates!

Call them back after receiving letter with quarter of the information and they couldn't provide me with any further discussion if I did not provide my full details. If they contact you they should be the ones to provide all of your information and not the contrary. Fishing!!!

Caught trying to amend direct debit from one company to yourselves, good job Barclays Bank picked up on it? Without my consent ……under The Theft Act 1968, that’s called trying to “obtain money by deception???”

They have send fake letter without any information asking to call them to talk about debt recovery.

Spoke to Charlie today regarding debt of a tenant during tenure of a previous landlord, and feel confident that the trace team will now look elsewhere ASAP for the individual, and that my tenant will get quiet enjoyment of the property.

1st time dealing with these people, they couldnt have been nicer or polite. paul was very helpful and courteous.

Received letter saying that I owe them money from EBAY Commerce UK Ltd.
My Ebay account is £0.00. Reported to Ebay Spoof EMAIL ebay.co.uk
Tried Chat Bot with them quoting reference number and all they wanted was more personal details of which I refused, they ended the chat while I was still replying.
How Rude !
Seems they are sending out random letters with no proof of what it is for.

Have recently been hassled by telephone calls from these unprofessional company demanding I give them my details when I refuse to hand over my personal details by phone they advise me they cannot discuss the debt that is related to the conversation with the advisor I then request a letter from them regarding some debt apparently I have with them when the letter arrived at my personal address it is not addressed to me someone totally different so you can't speak to them because I will not give them my personal details and handover my date of birth etc this company is completely harassing me in regard of someone else and I still refuse to give them my details so they cannot discuss the case over the phone I think this firm needs to reconsider our day continued their business as I will take this further if I have another call or a letter from these unprofessional people

Received a letter saying I owe £135 to PayPal I checked my PayPal account , the one I never used in over ten years and it said 0.00 they asked for my date of birth I said no they said they knew who it was with reference number I said I have not give you reference number they said they knew me through my phone number I said I’ve changed it recently and only close friends knew it they said we need date of birth to go through security? Do not phone or give any details please

scam drove me mad sending me messages to call them

Spoke to Josh Barber and he was very friendly and quick to help me resolve all of my questions. Honestly the most pleasant conversation I have every had about money and very happy to help and answer my (many) questions. (Please reward him for his hard work if possible ☺️)

Honestly this company are a bunch of con artists. I had a very old eBay account that had a £2 debt with it and now I’ve had a letter saying I owe £131.40 really this company is full of scammers I’m not being funny but a P.O. Box not even at your company address

Really helpful, polite and understanding. The agent I spoke to was more than helpful. Really polite and very informative and manage to help me pay my debt with a very reasonable repayment. Thank you Nayaz you were a massive help.
