Pre-ordered a video game, didn't even get it on the day of release, and got the base version instead of the pre order one, and I payed 10€ extra for it for no reason

Every year they sell IPhones with better advertised delivery dates than their competitors, and every year their "delivery partner" is to blame for constant delays and false delivery date information on the MediaMarkt website.

The junior in store associates seemed to have more information about when the next delivery of iphones would arrive in Austria than the MediaMarkt online support.

MediaMarkt would really benefit from an excel spreadsheet that tracks how many Iphones they ordered, and how many they sold, instead of just drop shipping from an "unreliable" supplier.

Great prices, large assortment of products in the category (coffeemakers/espresso machines and delivery as promised.

Customer service is almost non-existent.
They openly lie to you in the shops, watch out what is written online.
Delivery is via DPD which usually means that you will not get your products delivered, but left at some shop

ordered an iPhone 16 Pro Max from them, but the phone never arrived. Every time we called to ask where our phone was, they changed their story. The case has now been taken over by the police. This has been a catastrophic experience — two weeks have passed, and we still don’t know where our money is, nor have we received a refund. Avoid this company at all costs!

I ordered the Epson Ecoprinter online. Good quality products in fair pricing. Then the day after they emailed me that it is ready for pick-up in my chosen Mediamarkt shop. I chose to pay at shop and it was a fast and an uncomplicated transaction. I will order again in Mediamarkt online.

Great selection of products at a good price

There I can find available products what I need and the quality of the products is very good and trustworthy.

I dearly needed a business invoice for a non EU company. However the responsible people were simply unwilling to provide me with such an invoice and clearly grinned me in the face and told me that they would not do it.

Additionally this branch sold me defect hardware and was not willing to take the defect hardware back.

A few times with quick credit processing and purchase of quality products

It was a very nice surprise for me because it was my birthday and they gave a birthday present 🎁🥰

On the evening of 05 August 2025, I placed an order via Mediamarkt's official website for a headset required for work purposes. The product page stated a delivery date of no later than 07 August 2025.

I selected the pick-up store in District 13, Vienna, close to my accommodation.

On 06 August 2025, I received the delivery slip from Mediamarkt confirming the delivery address (District 13).

On 07 August 2025, I did not receive my order. Later that day, I received a notification stating that
my parcel had been delivered to a parcel shop in District 7, which was not the location I selected at
check-out and not the delivery address in the confirmation. (They even told me that I could go and pick it up myself - seriously??)

As of 13 August 2025, the order has still not been delivered. I have contacted Mediamarkt multiple
times without receiving a satisfactory update or resolution. Now, I am not even in Austria anymore, and they still have the headset and MY MONEY!!! (Not sure if this is even legal in Austria!?)

This constitutes a breach of the agreed delivery terms and has caused direct inconvenience, as the
headset was urgently required for my work.

This situation is unacceptable.
