Great service and advice

Dan and Tommy were both fantastic in the Chesham store, really helpful and patient. Amazing service!

10/10 customer service! After some back and forth of buying and returning my boots in different sizes to try out at home, I eventually settled on the pair I wanted with zero hassle.

Today at the Chesham store I was out it rather an awkward position by another customer who wouldn’t stop pestering me! The lovely woman who was serving me quickly noticed this and came over to subtly get me out of the predicament! Top marks for social awareness and instinct.

As winter approaches, it is time to refresh the wet weather gear for walking. After much research online I was able to identify a waterproof jacket and boots on the Millet's website. Best of all both were showing a significant reduction from retail price.

While the obvious thing to do was order online, wait in for delivery and possibly have to return the items. Instead I decided to call my local store and check stock. The helpful staff advised that both items were available at the same price as online and that they would keep them aside until the next day.

When I collected the items, I was able to try them on and ensure that they were the correct size and comfortable. As it turns out the jacket was too big and I was able to immediately purchase a size smaller. The staff in the store could not have been more helpful or knowledgeable about the pros and cons of their products. Overall I would rate the High Street over the Internet every time. Use it or lose it.

We recently visited Millets in Chesham again as my partner and myself needed walking boots for an up coming camping trip
We were served by Lewis who was very helpful.
Service was good and Lewis made us aware of offers that might be of interest to us as well.
The walking boots were a good price which was made even better when Lewis applied scout discount.
