Order was confirmed 2 days later I received an email advising a refund as item out of stock. Little upset as this gave me not much time to find something else. It would be a better experience if it stated on the website out of stock when you try and order

We can confirm the item in your order has been marked on your order as 'Unable to Fulfil' and therefore cancelled. An email advising you of this was sent at the time of cancellation.
We are truly sorry for any disappointment caused by this and this only occurs when our team are picking items for orders to be shipped.
Therefore, your cancellation notice will occur when and if other items are being shipped to you. Sadly, until shipped no online order is 100% guaranteed hence why payment is not physically taken from the customer until despatch, these funds are ring fenced by your bank and held by them.
The item was most likely confirmed as in stock at the time, however during the packing process we have found this item to be unavailable. It is a common process which can occur with any online retailer and tends to be more common during busier sale period due to the high volume of orders being placed.
As this item has not been dispatched, as mentioned, rest assured you have not been fully charged as we only charge upon despatch, therefore any pending funds held by your bank will be cancelled and will revert back to your original method of payment within 10 working days (this will not show as a refund). Lovely jumpsuit shame about the pattern …
I ordered the jumpsuit which I thought was really nice when I unpacked it .
I tried it on and it was rather big .
But the problem was the pattern on the back was mismatched .Looking at the reviews another customer has had the same with their jumpsuit .So it’s had to be returned .Ive ordered another one but don’t hold out much hope as this seems to be a problem with this jumpsuit .

Monsoon is honestly one of my favourite stores! I’ve been a loyal customer for more than a decade, and they never fail to impress me with their excellent quality and gorgeous designs. ❤️
I especially love their dresses, particularly the long-sleeved styles. 😍 Whenever I wear a Monsoon dress, my friends always comment on how lovely it looks, and I’ve received so many compliments on my outfits over the years.
Recently, I’ve bought dress and jumpsuit from Monsoon for my niece, and she absolutely loved them. Their designs are beautiful, elegant and always feel a little bit special.
