Excellent customer service from Bethany, I had lost the front wheel nut off of my trolley. I quickly had a replacement sent out to me

I have detailed below a letter I sent to the CEO of Motocaddy Mr Helas on the 6th July I am somewhat shocked and surprised that he has not had the decency to respond, perhaps you will on here.
Dear Mr Helas,
I feel compelled to write to make you aware of the experience I have had with Motocaddy since the beginning of April. I am writing not for my own benefit, but because I genuinely believe the issues I have encountered could affect the future success of your company and the experience of your customers.
When I purchased my 2026 M5 GPS DHC, it arrived with a battery fault which had to be returned to my distributor for investigation. Throughout the time I owned the trolley, the battery indicator never functioned correctly, and neither did the online software updates that I was repeatedly assured would resolve the issue.
I continued using the trolley for two months, but on 29 May, during a round of golf, the battery failed twice, requiring multiple reboots throughout the round. Following your advice, I carried out a further three software updates. Unfortunately, the battery indicator continued to fluctuate wildly, dropping from 100% to 80%, then 30%, and finally 5% on virtually every hole I played.
At this point, I returned the trolley to the retailer from whom I purchased it, Norfolk Premier Golf, who in turn sent it back to Motocaddy for repair. After three weeks and considerable chasing, I was informed that the trolley had a fault and that it would be at least another four weeks before it could be returned to me. I considered this timescale entirely unacceptable. I therefore instructed Norfolk Premier Golf that I did not want the faulty trolley returned and would instead accept a 2025 M5 GPS DHC as a replacement, as it is based on proven technology.
The replacement trolley finally arrived on 2 July. You can imagine my disbelief when I unpacked it, charged the battery, and discovered that the GPS head showed the battery as empty. I then tried a friend's 2024 battery, which worked perfectly in my trolley, while my battery showed as empty in his. Naturally, we concluded that my battery must be faulty.
Following further discussions with Norfolk Premier Golf, they allowed me to test a battery from another 2026 trolley they had in stock. This only added to the confusion. The stock battery also showed as empty in my trolley, while my battery showed as fully charged in their demonstration trolley. Clearly, there was a compatibility or software issue rather than a simple battery fault.
As this was over the weekend, there was no access to technical support, so once again I had no option but to leave the trolley with the retailer.
Frustrated and unsure what else to do, I left a review on Trustpilot on Sunday evening. To date, I have still not received any response.
Your representative collected the trolley from Norfolk Premier Golf on Tuesday and returned it to your service centre, where I understand it received a software update. As I happened to be in Stansted this morning, I collected it in person. Unfortunately, this was another disappointing experience. Your premises appear to be entirely unprepared for customer visits, and once I eventually gained access to the building, I encountered what seemed to be a complete lack of interest, empathy, or customer care.
Having successfully run businesses for over 30 years, I firmly believe that excellent customer service is the cornerstone of any successful company. Problems with products can and do occur; what distinguishes great companies is how those problems are handled. Unfortunately, throughout this entire experience, I have been left feeling that customer service has been treated as an afterthought.
My reason for writing is simply to ensure that you are fully aware of the shortcomings I have experienced, both with the products themselves and with the support provided by your company. I would be interested to understand what steps Motocaddy is taking to improve product quality, software reliability, and, most importantly, the level of customer care provided to customers in the future.
I look forward to receiving your response.

If your Company needs training on how to look after customers then go no further than Zena Ellen at Motocaddy. The way Zena looked after me was exemplary, she turned a miserable moment into a magic moment.
I had a problem with my Cube golf trolley, and having described the problem to Zena she sent me a replacement part which arrived two days after we chatted.
This didn’t solve the problem and I emailed Zena to let her know. She immediately responded by saying she would replace the trolley for a new one as this malfunction should not have happened and apologised that the replacement part did not fix the problem which we both thought it would.
I will receive the new Cube five working days after we originally chatted which includes the delivery company delivering the trolley.
I have never before experienced such amazing customer service.
Thank you Zena and well done!

Great idea on paper, but flawed in practice
I purchased a Motocaddy Protekta cart bag from Clubhouse Golf and have used it for five rounds before deciding it wasn't the right bag for me.
Firstly, there are some positives. The bag is well made from high-quality materials and feels like it would withstand several years of heavy use. The club organiser system is an innovative idea and works particularly well for irons, keeping them neatly separated and easy to identify.
Unfortunately, that's where the positives end for me.
The biggest issue is with woods, hybrids and putters that use head covers. Whilst the organiser works well for bare clubs, there simply isn't enough room to accommodate modern head covers properly. The covers become squashed together, making the top of the bag look untidy and potentially causing the covers to crease and deteriorate over time.
My other major concern is the bag's stability. Regardless of how I arranged the contents or used the pockets, the bag never felt balanced when standing upright and toppled over far too easily. In fact, it has fallen over several times and resulted in two of my irons being damaged when they hit the ground.
The obvious response is that a cart bag should be kept on a trolley, but that's not always practical. When I raised these concerns with Clubhouse Golf, the feedback from Motocaddy was that the bag is not designed to stand upright on its own and is intended to be used on one of their trolleys. Whilst I understand that position, golfers inevitably need to stand their bag up at times, whether in the car park, at the range, in the clubhouse or whilst loading equipment. I also received no response regarding the issue with club head covers.
In my opinion, the Protekta's design looks excellent on paper and the concept is certainly clever, but real-world usability hasn't been thought through as thoroughly as it should have been. For some golfers the unique organiser system may outweigh these drawbacks, but for me the compromises in practicality were too significant.
Pros
High-quality construction and materials
Innovative club organiser concept
Excellent organisation for irons
Cons
Head covers become cramped and squashed
Poor stability when standing upright
Easily tips over, risking damage to clubs
Design feels better in theory than in practice
Overall, a well-built bag with an interesting concept, but one that doesn't deliver the practicality I was expecting.

Still early days with my M5 GPS DHC but it's working just as I hoped. Ordered direct from Motocaddy.us and it was shipped immediately. Assembly was very straightforward, easier than I recalled from my previous Motocaddy S-series many years ago.
So far I've had one followup question via email, which Deanne replied to promptly.

I bought a golf trolley for over £1,200 and within approximately twelve months there was a fault with the trolley meaning that it had to be sent off to Motocaddy. I have currently been without my trolley throughout the main part of the golf season for 3/4 weeks and still have not received an update.
The cost to hire trolleys is now amounting into large amounts of money due to the number of times I play. The inconvenience this is now causing is ridiculous.
Very happy to take my money for the initial trolley with zero support once the fault was identified.
Dissatisfied is an understatement.

I bought a push trolley back in Feb 2026. The folding mechanism broke at weekend and I contacted Motocaddy to report it.
Their service team (Aaliyah) replied and after sending them photos and clarifying the issue they now have a new trolley on its way to me.
Great customer service

I have the new M7, 2026 GPS Remote. The GPS screen is shocking. No matter where you are. It looks at a straight line to the flag and gives you 50% distance split. So on my first hole a dog leg right. It shows 233 yards into thick woods, then another 233 yards from the woods to the green??? This can not be switched off. I don't really need to know when I've 50 yards from the green that I should two 25 yard shots. The Tech team are adamant that this is a usfull function. It can not be switched off and there is nothing wrong with it. If all of the GPS models are the same. Stay well clear.

Still useless, haven't fixed the mapping issue with the hole indexing. How would I rate the CEO of the company. I wouldn't even give him a single grain of star dust.

I have been using the Motocaddy for about a year on a mountainous course that has uneven terrain. The Motocaddy has been great, easily climbing hills and very controlled downhill/sidehill descents. Within one year it has paid for itself over cart fees. Plus the exercise is a bonus! Motocaddy customer service is also a 5 star, they immediately sent me a replacement remote when mine acted up. I have had 2 other motorized carts in the past (Cartek and Navigator). Motocaddy by far exceeds these competitors. I'm 5'1" and weigh 105lbs and can easily lift the folded Motocaddy in my trunk. So easy to use, I don't even need to look at the remote in my hand as I am using it.
