Problems with unknown people taking credit for my work and difficulty removing them manually or through the help desk as the AI assistant goes around in circles and difficult to get human assistance and I am at the top of their leader board at the current time.
Since writing this most of my problems have been resolved by MusixMatch and my publisher. Not all response is taking time. As yesterday I played the lyrics of one of my songs on YouTube and the wrong person was credited for the lyrics even though the distributor credited me. To me this should be there top priority as I was at friends house and she thought this other person had wrote the song. And with my publisher the person has inserted themselves as a Colaborator as it is in several songs he claims authorship it does not seem like a database error is taking time. If I was a major label it would have been done yesterday.

Updating my review for transparency after being helped by customer support. They reached out to me yesterday and today, June 30, 2026 and July 1, 2026. They refunded the difference between the plan costs with little effort needed on my end so money was no longer wasted on a product I didn't receive. Much appreciated; however, the review only goes to 3 stars because if it takes a public review to get a refund, that is not a good policy. Musixmatch needs a better in-house support system that is responsive to customer needs. The AI chat bot currently implemented will lead you in circles with no actual resolution.

This company is more focused on taking your money than actually assisting with helping. I renewed my annual Grow Plan on June 17 , 2026. On June 20 , 2026, I downgraded to a Basic Plan for $30 annually in preparation for my next billing cycle. This immediately and automatically switched my account from Grow to Basic. I tried to request either a refund or to have my account reverted back but, the AI help bot is useless and there is no way to contact an actual representative. I highly recommend using LyricFind instead which is cheaper and more focused on actually helping artists. I will only being using Musixmatch when I am required to moving forward. Terrible user experience and customer support.

As a musician and audio engineer I feel deeply contribute to the production community help with missing lyrics in songs from my country but the syncing experince is abit off with popping back yo the start while editing the other overall are great in my opinion

MusixMatch has very easily understandable guidelines to input lyrics and this is an excitement for those who are lit by magic of words like myself.
As a newbie, I am glad MxM will be a valuable platform to bringing unto others more enjoyability to the music I love.

I’m very had a bad experience with this company. I signed up to them and uploaded my catalog but had some technical and haven’t been able to chat to a customer support agent to resolve my technical issues. I wait days for a reply and when they reply they don’t resolve my issue. I’m so frustrated that my new release is being wasted.

I don't understand their crazy ideology for artists and money.

They say I have to pay to transcribe lyrics which I am “featured” in the song on Musixmatch Pro (I am basically a main artist).

But any curator on Musixmatch CAN edit my song lyrics without my permission, without knowing what the lyrics even say, and also, FOR FREE.

And, when I am the first main artist on the metadata, on a collaborative song, I am STILL treated as a featured artist, and I still have to pay to “get verified and administrate all your lyrics”.

If you want to get your lyrics to Spotify, trust me, you totally don't want to go through this platform.

Honestly, that company stressed me a lot, and I am patiently waiting for LyricFind to take place on the Streaming Services. Since 2025, they were always the best option for me.

My own lyrics, written, synchronised and translated! Ready on many platforms!

Even though it may be a little tricky to begin with, it is because they make you go through a brief course to guarantee transcription quality, which I believe to be a very good thing.

Once you're in, you can finally add lyrics to the songs you like, and no one looks into, especially old ones where no artist can do anything at all.
