I originally left a review on January…

I originally left a review on January 14, 2026, and Feb 26, 2026 and unfortunately nothing has changed.

This issue actually goes back to 2024 and its now 2026. My lyrics are still not appearing on Spotify or Apple Music even though they were uploaded through Musixmatch and support has repeatedly told me my catalogue was “reimported” and should be live.

I subscribed to Artist Pro specifically to get proper support and resolve this issue. Musixmatch says responses take up to 3 days, but that has not been my experience. The only time I get a response is when I leave a Trustpilot review, which should not be the only way to get support.

Despite following every instruction given — refreshing lyrics, sending links, and explaining the issue multiple times — my catalogue is still incomplete, duplicated, restricted, or missing.

What makes this worse is that when using LyricFind, my lyrics appear correctly and are fully displayed. Yet they are still missing from Spotify and Apple Music, which makes it feel like Musixmatch has a monopoly over those platforms.

So I have to ask: why am I paying for Artist Pro if I’m not receiving the service I paid for? What exactly am I paying for if the only way to get a follow-up on my ticket is by posting a public complaint?

At this point I want my money back, because I am clearly not receiving the service I paid for.

This whole situation is extremely frustrating and honestly sickening.

Horrible service

After almost 2 months, my Spotify artist is still not verified. If I want to talk to customer service, I talk to an AI bot that just lets you go in circles. Want to speak to a human? Pay! Insane for a company that has a monopoly on Spotify lyrics.

If you have a bug you're screwed

You are virtually unreachable. I've wasted at least an hour trying to verify my artist profile. I keeps saying "something went wrong", even after clearing cache and hopping browsers. Your AI is dumb as a rock and keeps thinking and talking in circles.

EDIT: they ask for additional info but I could only input my phone number and not my e-mail. You don't need my phone number. I try mailing but then I get PAYWALLED FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE???? YOUR product is BROKEN, I chose the free plan that YOU OFFER so how are you gonna BULLY me into a subcription if you A. have a monopoly and B. your product MALFUNCTIONS

Great for lyric distribution

Great for lyric distribution, however it takes really long for a free user to post the lyrics. They usually show up late on platforms. So please ensure the delay is reduced

Muisxmatch has been a great help in the music industry. Provided the lyrics of virtually every song you're looking for easily. The fun and best part of it is that it allows to input lyrics you may know and are missing, verify those lyrics and publish them. It's such a great platform to listen to music with lyrics in view.

In most cases, this happens when users log in using a different method than the one originally used to create their account. Even if the same email address is used, logging in via a different method can create a separate, empty account where contributions, points, and badges won’t appear.

We recommend double-checking whether another account may have been created with a different login method. Once you access the original account, all your contributions and history should be visible.

Horrible Platform!

I can't access my artist profile, even though I paid for subscription, no costumer service, and provides user's music to AI development! you have to actively tick off the option but if you don't you can't go back and remove their authority. Wish we could just upload our lyrics through our distributions again.

ease to use

Ease to use, even though I had problems for a few days when the Studio app wouldn’t load and my newly released album was missing. But it was fixed in a couple of days.

I have been a member for more than a year and recently upgraded to Pro member and became a contributor to be able to upload to other artists too. I earned my Graduate badge and have been invited to take a test to earn the Curator badge.

My only feedback is for the Studio app. When the browser needs a refresh, sometimes the app does not save the last edit, so I need to redo the synced lyrics all over again. In my experience, 2 out of 10 times, it won’t save. The problem is if it is a difficult song, redoing the work becomes quite a hassle.

Why do we artists have to be taken…

Why do we artists have to be taken advantage of constantly? i just want to upload my own lyrics to my own songs with my own effort. Verifying is taking weeks now and i keep getting emails, if i upgrade that i get special treatment. Is this a joke? Its like a black mirror episode!!!!!!! Its my own lyrics and my own songs i cant believe this is real!

I use Musixmatch as a contributor

I use Musixmatch as a contributor, adding lyrics. The platform is well organized, it’s easy to contribute, and you can clearly see the impact of your work. The app and the syncing tools are really helpful, and overall the experience feels straightforward and motivating.
As a small improvement, it would be great to make the review/validation process more transparent (for example, more feedback when a change is rejected). Other than that, excellent.

Good lyric platform

Musixmatch is very good at lyrics; Spotify uses musixmatch as their lyric provider
They have "Apple Sing" (word to word lyrics), translations, and a big community.
The search though is a bit strange, you have to also get the artist's name for you to get the exact same song you wanted, but it's not a real problem. Would recommend, 10/10!
