This is a scam

This is a scam, absolute nonsense. they send and present suggestive information which is purely designed to seperate you from you money. Don't use/join or have anything to do with this. there are far more reputable places if you need information or a background check who are not out to rip you off.

Would not recommend!

Would not recommend!
Every little query has an additional charge. The registration form indicates an easy method to end membership online. I had to make calls, and it was difficult to understand the agent. Customer service is unsatisfactory. I had to jump through hoops to deactivate, and still not certain that my request went through.

Why does this site even exist?

I've requested my information to be deleted from this site--all other people search sites have complied with my opt-out requests without an issue--but haven't received a resolution or response. I've also received emails on at least two occasions stating that I have a negative review on my profile only to log in, *pay a fee*, and find out no such review exists. Dishonest, in a nutshell. Don't even get me started on whatever bogus "algorithm" calculates the reputation scores on this site. What exactly do my neighbors have to do with anything?

MyLife.com

MyLife.com, Inc. 907 Westwood Blvd., #359, Los Angeles, CA 90024 managed by Jeffrey Tinsley, CEO, uses deceit and fraud to entice victims to subscribe. Took money from my account 2 times…

Took money from my account 2 times after it had been disabled. A complete rip-off no one from customer support responded the first time and the second time was told they couldn’t do anything about the refund of the first charge... don’t use.

I wish I could give it less stars

I wish I could give it less stars. DO NOT PAY THEM A DIME. ITS A SCAM. you cannot remove anything. The $1 trial they charged me twice then after canceling they charged another $18+ anyway. You cannot change anything at all. Just add comments. This place should be fined, sued, shut down.

Got an email ftom them stating that I…

Got an email ftom them stating that I had a negative on my reputation score. Under the categories that pop up, the criminal/court one says i have 1 or more record. I have never been arrested or to court. It also said I may have bankruptcy information...nope, never.
My address is an apt I lived in 2 years ago while my home was being renovated. I can see that they are trying to scare you into paying to remove this information, which I will not do.
Any reputable company would not use a 1 star company like mylife, who has been involved in multiple lawsuits related to fraud and deceptive practices, is not accredited by the BBB, and has thousands and thousands of FTC complaints against them, to verify anyone's background. And if you run into a company or person who does...they are not very smart in their own practices, and you don't want to work for them!

I would give a zero but its not…

I would give a zero but its not possible. They say they are offering a free trial for one thing but what you dont know is your signing up for multiple. So you end up getting charged 80 bucks anyway. And you really get no information to boot! This site is HORRIBLE! Dont waste your time much less your money!

I would like to put negative star if I could. Stating on the website that I have criminal or court records when I googled my name! I did have new friends asking me what why I have criminal records, which I don’t ! Damage my reputation with false information! People in this company need to be in jail!!

MyLife.com is a Typical SCAM

Utter trash is what makes gains off of implying that someone’s else’s integrity or “reputation” is in question. This is also how you catch a lawsuit which a search about MyLife.com proves.

As if things are fair for independent, honest, and hardworking people. It can be a struggle to survive let alone thrive after a person is wrongly judged then discriminated against.

As countless others have experienced they posted some ticket under my name from 2000 for the appearance that I had a criminal record. This in order to sell paid memberships to the MyLife scam. Hand them over money only so then details would confirm zero criminal record.

Then there’s the fake “connections” which were mostly random people that may have lived on the same street at some point.

They somehow got my cc and were charging 1$ a month. I called and demanded a refund & to abate jacking my hard earned money. I got a confirmation number but I’ll have to follow up to ensure they fully remove my name or likeness as promised.
Slander even if implied can destroy one’s professional life/finances.

The cycle of planting seeds that end up alienating people from their personal and work relationships renders them vulnerable to further hardship and predatory circumstances.

Totally scammy and unethical!!!

This company is extremely sneaky and unethical!!! After doing some searches on their site, without creating an account, they sent me an email thanking for joining their site, even though I never signed up! In this email, they also said that my account has some info about me that is potentially sensitive, and if I want to control this information, I need to upgrade to a premium account.

Since I NEVER created an account, I know this is a complete LIE and they don't have any information about me. However, they think I'm stupid enough to upgrade to a premium account just to be able to control that non-existent "sensitive information".

SHAME ON YOU, LIARS!!!
