Tried MyLife $1 trial and immediately canceled my subscription that very same day, or so I thought. Four days later I was billed $99.90 for a premium membership. Calling them for a refund was a JOKE! In short they couldn't give my refund because my account was canceled. HUH? That was a waste of a total of two hours of my time.

Emails sent to MyLife customer care are totally worthless as they don't respond to any of them.

I resorted to calling the PayPal to dispute MyLife. PayPal must've seen this fraud charge a mile away because what normally takes a couple days took only a few minutes as they had it resolved and a refund is on the way almost after hitting the Enter key to submit, BUT ... I got another email the next day from MyLive saying my subscription was renewed and that I'll be billed again for $99.90 for three months!

I called MyLife AGAIN and SUPPOSEDLY have a confirmation number now for a cancelation of the renewed subscription. I'll also be notifying PayPal to not authorize anything from them under any circumstances.

For a company that supposedly is to check on the reputations of people is questionable in and of itself.

FTC Press Release: MyLife accused of posting misleading background reports.

I signed up and found it was not what I thought it was. Requested a refund immediately and was charged $50.85 anyway four days later. Getting a refund was a run-around, and I'm still trying. It seems every time I try to tackle the problem their website is down. Despite having a transcript of them agreeing to a full refund, I still have nothing back.

I signed up for 3 day trial which was 1$ after looking at my bank transaction my life deducted 99.00$ from my bank account that I didn't want and I called and they lady said she can't give me no refunds.thats crazy.

From a family friend found my hubands person information as well as pictures of our children on their site. No permission or authorization had ever been given. We are not signed up for anything they offer. How are they able to do this. Filling out numerous reviews where I can. companies like this cause id theft to become that more succesful. And also give military information.

This company is shocking. I have sent hundreds of emails asking that they cancel my subscription. Complete scam artists. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. I am reporting them to the Police for fraud.

This site had useful information available for years and years, and with related matters, though, never to be used or found.

Signed up to do a people search for my neighbor because MyLife supposedly only charged $1 for 3 days. I was actually charged $2 for 2 searches, but that is not what was advertised. Now being charged $44.95 with auto renewal, something I did not want. When I called, MyLife will only refund $35 as they say I used their service. The service and info BTW was very inaccurate. Don't get scammed by them.

First off I get numerous email saying I get a 7-Day free trial for dollar okay never was anything a dollar and never did I get any reports I think the cheapest was $7.95 and and I had six different charges in one day and because I used a prepaid debit card they charged me 40 bucks on the second day do not do not do not give them anything they are horrible awful people and I'm going to sue them if they don't give me my money back I will sue them their crappy rude and they don't care and they have no like idea how to look people up or you know they don't even give you a report to their liars

Mylife just kept spamming me with "important info about your reputation". The first time I received one of their emails, I took a look. On their website, they stated on one page that my reputation was higher than the national average. On a different page, it was lower than the national average. Isn't it strange that it could be both.

When I continued to try to see what Mylife knew about me, first I had to go through many minutes of Mylife supposedly searching public records, until they finally brought me to a payment page. They weren't even telling me whether there was any issue. I know there wasn't. I have never been arrested for anything. I have an excellent credit score. I don't do anything against anyone else except write reviews about bad companies which is the case with MyLife.

I had been to Mylife before. So, I went to my dashboard. There they had my income very wrong and people I had never heard of as associates or relatives. They even improved my ex-husband's name. Unfortunately, that isn't his name. Only Mylife would incorrectly write it that way. Let me put it this way, Mylife had my ex-husband's name as a combination of his name and his brother's name.

Mylife claims that they can protect you by giving you the reputations of people on dating websites. Mylife didn't have my past names. I have been married twice. So, neither my maiden name or first marriage last name were given. They wouldn't know a criminal using an alias on a dating site. How are they going to protect me? To me, it is very dangerous for Mylife to make this claim.

When I checked "Where's my info", I was given the name of a woman in Minnesota. I live in New York State. She didn't even have the same middle initial. Could Mylife even give me information about the wrong person when I am conducting a background check on a potential date?

What I really want to say is that Mylife is a scam. Don't buy into it. If they can't tell you proper details about yourself, how can they tell you correct information about someone you might find on a dating website?

Mylife has a very low Reputation Score in my book.

This company operates in a misleading way in order to charge your credit card. I signed up for their trial and made sure to cancel the account before the end date according to their FAQs. So I went ahead and canceled the automatic renewal. Well, it turns out that there are 2 different services provided in the account and they have 2 separate charges, so I had only canceled one of them and they charged me for the other one. I thought that I was canceling the whole account but I feel scammed by this practice. I truly believe they do this on purpose so if you cancel one service, they can still charge you for the other one. I did get a partial refund but they still were able to keep some of my money.

I advise everybody to NOT get their service subscription.

As we all are aware MyLife had a recent lawsuit. They were providing misleading information about people in hopes of those individuals would sign up and pay for their services.
Here is the issue, a lot of people and business think Mylife is a good source of correct information, and their background checks are accurate. THEY ARE NOT. Many people including myself has suffered due to FAKE background checks by this business. Again, do your research on this business, Google the lawsuit. This business has caused much hardship. Further, you can contact them and have your information removed. BUT, you WILL then get 5 to 10 emails a day from them and how your reputation is declining and how they can help you. The only thing they will help you with is unloading your wallet.

I honestly was about to order services but decided to test it by looking up a family member very close to me. The information is sooooo way off. He has literally NEVER been arrested. He has had parking tickets but the way they present the info is so misleading and they have people as his family members that we have NEVER heard of....meanwhile they don't mention any of his actual family at all. So glad I checked first and this will be going in all my reviews. They should really check their information. They could be open to a lawsuit and ruin a good man or woman's name.

Nothing but scamming people! I had a bad "review" but they wont tell me who unless I pay (not that I believe its a real review). I called them and they had a "only over the phone deal" 3 years of searching for $50 and they will reimburse me with gifts cards! Hearing that proves they are a scam. They say they removed my profile info, but send me emails saying people searched me and I have new reviews. How can that be if they took my info off their site. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. DO NOT GIVE ANY PAYMENT INFO TO THEM

Mylife.com is nothing more than a big scam. They fabricate lies and post them to scam you out of money. The FBI needs to investigate and prosecute to the fullest of the law. Everyone that I know of know this site is a big scam.

Impossible to cancel tried several ways this is a rip off

I paid $1 for a three day trial. I cancelled before the trial ended and my life still charged me $39.99. I called them and a foreign lady answered. I told her I cancelled and the lady I talked to when I cancelled said I would only be charged the$1. She wouldn't answer me when I ask her why I was charged more. She is a very rude and hateful person.

I was offered a 7 day introductory offer for $1.00. I signed up for it. I cancelled the auto renew the same day. They did an auto renew for one month for $44.95, three (3) days later. No emails, nothing. I went back on their site and again cancelled auto renew. I called their customer service and talked with some who had a rather strong accent (from India?) who said they would issue a refund and gave me a verbal confirmation number. I told them if I didn't get the refund, I would dispute the charge with my credit card company. I am tempted to contact with the Federal Consumer Complaints Agency.

First of all I dont give a rats ass what people think. I dont know them, theyre opinion means nothing. My Life.com makes money off of peoples mistakes in life (darlin we ALL have made mistakes) This company makes its living from finding info on a person Whether its true, is actually you theyve looked up...they dont care. They publish it for all to see and invite ypu to have the info " locked " FOR A PRICE" Any business ran by flauting others misfortunes and then charging them to challenge their findings is trying to come up from gutter. It belongs there, along with any one who uses these bottom feeders bs.
Btw, this is how inaccurate their findings are; Im not 59 years old, I never lived in Anamosa or New York, nor do they have my current address right. Idk over 1/2 of the associates they have listed that are giving me "negative scores, one of them listed is my veternarian clinic! Lol. 75% of what theyve written a report on me about is wrong, totally fictional. So take it for what it is...bottom feeders lying, cheating, swindling money from people theyve threatened with having a bad reputation score. Whats MyLifes reputaion score? Answer, who the hell cares

Try and Try to get info removed. They kept on trying to sell me stuff to change my social credit score. It is a scam.
