Just used MyRoute for motorcycle tour to France & Germany. Good in my opinion but with irritating flaws, namely:

1. If you miss a waypoint for what ever reason it keeps trying to send you back even when obviously you don’t want to go back.
2. Removing a waypoint en route is tricky and it took me some time to work out how to do it.
3. There is an occasional tendency, which you have to watch out for, to send you off route on a strange detour.
4. The clarity of on screen instructions eg when approaching junctions is poor compared to Google Maps and Waze.

Overall. a promising app which needs improvement.

Used it for the first time this weekend. I took 2 gpx routes that I bought from a provider, placed them in MRA, joined them and turned it into a weekend ride with friends. I then split the route for days and stops before exporting the gpx files for Garmin and shared with friends. Everything worked well. The app was extremely straightforward. I’ve told my friends to buy it too. Days of base camp are over.

I need a few things only. If these were be accessable, the sw was perfect.
These are:
-improvement in live functions such as showing traffic, accidents, police activity etc.
- the offline maps refreshment is to slow in that way, when the smallest change forces downloading everything.

What made your experience good is the ease of use, but I am still understanding some of the finer parts of the software, In answer to the question "What is this company doing well", well for me everything so far, I am finding some trouble when I am on the chart adding points when I move about, but that is when I have unlocked the map so I get that, just have to get used to the software and produce more routes and test them out.

Good experience with My-route app. Very precise way pointing and great maps. Easy to export to TomTom .itn formats. Happy with the app and its performance.

Routes made for Garmin and TomTom were different on tree bikes which made it interesting but we just followed the leader, got us there most time but sometimes Garmin took very unusual routes

The restrictions on the free version don’t impede on satisfying my needs for a route planning app, to the point where I am considering getting a subscription simply to encourage the devs.

Does a great job and exceptionally good at planning a route with way points, and they are always updating and adding other great features too..

Over the many moons of biking, I have used a plethora of navigation aids but this is very user friendly and accurate. We have used this in several trips out and I am impressed with it so far.

I hear it’s a great product. I’m coming off Basecamp, which I was never very good at and a rank beginner on MRA. Several riding friends are using it. I will eventually get more experience.

I like the app for driving with my motorcycle But not for my car!
What's missing:
1/ more route allers likecwaze
2/ option to see time to a next waypoint by color or type, Handy für long rides
3/ list of gas stations along the rode, important in ca and usa ..

I used to use Garmin Base Camp.(No longer supported by Garmin) This is much better. I can use the laptop on line to plan the routes and send them to my GPS unit and navigate offline while, riding. The maps are automatically up to date The maps are clear and finding places is super quick. So one can plan routes as I have just done of over 3000 kms and I am confident that I can lead the group with no panic through mapping failures.

Crap administration

Perfect app for road trip planning - and execution!

I have TomTom Raider navigation on my motorbike and it's easy to create routes on MyRoute and than transfer them to navigation.

Very good for planning and easy to use once familiar. The navigation app is a little slow on android auto, but very acceptable and getting better with development. Would be good to get spoken audio warnings for speed camera and exceeding speed limit. I only get an audio noise. Round trip suggestions work well.

I feel as though I need a lesson to get the most out of the app, especially the navigation function. I will go through the information again

There is a lot good about MRA, but it is also clunky and often goes off route and makes really random diversions - like it did to us in Germany on the B500. It just for no reason sent us off the road onto very small country paths and then 2kms later, back onto our route on the B500! It does this stuff a lot. I have now used it very extensively across Europe and the UK. Of course it may be some element of user error but that also comes down to how complicated it is to use and set good routes. Compared to Google maps or even WAZE for simple tracks or A to B routes, it is really not sophisticated. The zoom in function for approaching junctions also does not work regularly - and certainly not as easily as WAZE, for example. Also, the place names (towns, cities, villages) are in such small type that it's very difficult to read them and thus easily get an idea of where we are. I have a new Chigee AIO-6 so the screen size is good yet MRA display is not. When you set a route, the guide blocks the road names and makes it difficult to see the road on the map. The exit on roundabouts (where it says exit 1 or 2 or 3) is SO small that it is almost impossible to read when on the go - it is strangely better on my phone than the NAV screen which is bigger! These are just a few of the issues.
