I've used National a few times in the past for my tyres and had a good experience, i thought i would entrust them with the MOT for my Mazda 6 sport. Online booking was straightforward, pricing par for the course. On the day of the test, i dropped the keys in to reception, found the staff friendly and talkative. There is a waiting area in the reception if required but i waited outside making some calls. After an hour, Alan, who carried out the test, handed me my keys, again, he was friendly, professional and told me exactly how the test had gone. I then popped back into reception, had a final chat with the lads, got my paperwork, which was quick and efficient. Overall, in summary, my experience was excellent once again, and considering that they were short staffed on the day, i can only commend them for their efforts. Cheers lads. Highly recommended. I went into a National Tyres in Portsmouth about a year ago, and the chap I spoke to about my BMW Z4 was really helpful, although ultimately he couldn't help me. I wanted to repay this by using the company again. I booked four tyres online with the Hartlepool branch. Simple enough online, although when the confirmation arrives it suggests that I might have to wait all day, unless I booked a shorter visit. There isn't an option to book a shorter visit - I had to call to confirm. The branch itself, is an awful place to visit. Its gloomy, grubby, worn out and not somewhere you might want to spend any time waiting. (Something I notice from most tyre places I've visited in previous years). What's up with this industry? It wouldn't take much effort to make it a more inviting place but they don't seem to give a toss. I would like to meet the area manager at the branch and find out his opinion. I spent my hour walking around the local streets. I have diabetes and its always a concern that you might run out of energy if you do unexpected exercise - fortunately a couple of chocolate bars saved the day. The emailed receipt invited me to leave my constructive criticism, but the link on the confirmation email doesn't work. Who's job is it to check these things?? Have my TPS valves been replaced as suggested by the booking web site? I don't know, it doesn't mention valves on my receipt. They are clearly not interested in my repeat business. I consider my "debt" to National Tyres concluded and won't be going back. By the way, the actual staff were great.

Superb customer service by Barry and the team. Concerned with problem on car and away from home yet phoned and team at Hartlepool got it booked in quickly from phone call to them. Excellent communication on super fast diagnostics to identify repairs needed and repair job incredibly well priced. Totally recommend and will be using services again.

I had my car seen to yesterday for the tracking as the wheel was going everywhere, when I got the car back not gunna lie still like it now steering wheel still going everywhere not sure if they rushed it as it took 10 mins for them to sort it so I felt like it was a little rushed.
