Not great regarding testing - good in terms of products

Not great for cosmetic testing. I do not mind delays - as long as I am kept in the loop. I was told that our testing had been completed when in fact it had not even started! 10 months later, I am still waiting for my final certificate... I have only dealt with the Toxicology staff member Tom and feel sorry for him as it seems as though he is the only one doing the work! Whether it is that they are understaffed or just extremely inefficient, they should be more honest & communicate with their clients.

However, they are very good in terms of delivery and ingredients orders. It's a shame that they have such a terrible toxicology system.
I ordered a large batch of items for next day delivery and everything arrived on time. I had problems with my online account when I tried to place another order. I called up the office, they answered on the second ring and resolved the problem right away!

Catherine,

Thanks for taking the time to write a review and for your praise on our ingredients and products.

I am sorry the CPSR service hasn't lived up to your expectation, obviously we don't make customers wait that long as we do try to turn around the majority of our CPSR's within 10 working days providing all the information submitted is correct.

If you could email me at support@naturallythinking.eu the details of your order number, then I will look into it straight away to find out what and why this has happened as obviously not the service we want to give.

Thanks, Dan

Great source of information, support and products!

Over the last year I have had only great experiences dealing with Naturally Thinking.

The products they sell are always 10/10 and arrive with a trucks worth of packaging! I have never had any brakages and have purchased pleanty of glass bottles!

I have attended two courses held by naturally thinking (good manufacturing practice and cosmetic making courses). Both courses were incredibly helpful and gave me a true and thorough insight to cosmetic making for sale.
These courses are not just for cosmetic sellers, they are great fun for all abilities and requirements.

Since completing the two courses I went on to produce and sell my own products. Naturally Thinking have been a huge help in advice and providing testing for my products to allow me to sell to the UK market.

Overall I can't thank or recommend them enough!!!!

Great company to get CPSR's done

I have had four cosmetic safety reports done and have been very happy with the service. The price is good compared to other companies. The reports were done quickly and the process was easy. My queries were answered quickly. Woukd definitely recommend.

Bad service

Out of stock of many items and cannot contact the by phone.
I would rate Naturallythinking between bad and awful.
A truly horrible experience.

Incompetent, unethical and unresponsive.

Dont ever get any products tested with this company. They simply cannot deliver. They do not have the manpower or the equipment. They will take your money, and only then inform you that there will be a delay of "several" months because their equipment is faulty or they are awaiting replacement machinery. When you phone or write to complain, no one will take your calls. I have emailed the owner directly several times and am still totally in the dark as to what is happening with our tests. He is NEVER available to take my calls. It has been 6 months since we submitted our products for testing. I have sent countless emails and spend a fortune on making unreturned calls to the poor ladies on the reception desk. If you have recently paid for products to be tested with this company, take my advice, bypass the so-called Customer Service Team and go straight to Trading Standards.

Terrible times scales and customer service

I have been waiting two weeks for an order. Got an email saying it is being picked but one product is out of stock, what should they do? I asked them to send the rest of the order and cancel that product as some of te order is for a friends birthday. No reply three days later.

Checked on the website and the order status is still picking ...no refund and no change!

I am on the phone and have been hanging on now for 50 mins...so now my free hour will be up and I've not been able to speak to anyone. Looks like I will have to hang up as no minutes left to talk. How they stay in business I dont know. There are better companies out there.

I cant believe the positive reviews are real...

Delighted with first order

I recently placed an order with Naturally Thinking, the order arrived promptly and was well packaged. This order was for a gift therefore I haven't used the oils and can't comment on them but I plan to place another order for myself.

Great product range

Great product range and fast delivery, received all my ordered items promptly. One issue I had was with the Rose water, it had no 'security' seal which I thought was a bit odd (hence the four stars.) I was assured by a customer service representative through email that is was safe to use and it did smell lovely.

Appalling Customer Service / Sarcasm / Accusations / Product not fit for purpose

I placed an order with N.T on Sunday 8th November 2015. I received my order on Tuesday 10th. 8 items from this order were incorrect, so I notified them via phone. I have been waiting for these items to arrive and they arrived late today.

Among my order was an eco preservative that will preserve some body products for upto 24 months. The preservative came with an expiration date of July 2016! How can a preservative with an expiration date of 7 months preserve something by upto 24 months.

So, I contacted N.T on Tuesday to advise them of this and received an email from a representative named Lauren who stated 'it 'should' last longer'. What? 'Should' is not good enough, especically if I should produce a product to be analysed by an independant chemist in relation to its shelf-life.

I emailed Lauren and asked if she could clarify and offer a more plausable response in relation to my question, no reply. I emailed a further two times and still no response from N.T.

I decided to contact Trading Standards today who advised me to contact N.T again as the product was not fit for purpose. So I contacted them again today with information from Trading Standards. This time I did receive a reply, from a surly representative named Dan. I have taught and practiced a range of complementary therapy for over 20 years, and I have a keen interest in natural health. I have a number of allergies so I make my own body products. In these 20 years I have never come across anyone who represents a company who was as sarcastic and accusing as Dan from Naturally Thinking.

Dan accused me of not contacting N.T first before approaching Trading Standards when in fact I had given them 3 opportunities to respond. I forwarded these previous emails to Dan who chose once more not to respond.

I was also told by Dan 'because I had purchased as a business the customer contract regulations don't apply'. I advised Dan that I did NOT purchase for any company as I do NOT have a wholesale account with Naturally Thinking. I did indeed order under my own name.

I did NOT request a refund of my product, but NT have chosen to refund the purchase price INSTEAD of answering my original question. I feel I have been mislead in relation to this preservative being offered or sale.

It seems to me that one can sell anything for as long a time as one can get away with. One can misrepresent products and mislead customers, then when challenged, give a refund and everything will be forgotten.

Today, I have spoken with numerous friends and shared a similar post to this on my Facebook page. A number of people have responded with only negativity for Naturally Thinking.

DO NOT purchase from Naturally Thinking if you value customer service. I have since ordered from another company, an eco preservative just the same with an expiry date of 2020 - this speaks for itself doesn't it?

Naturally Thinking? 'Not Thinking' would be a better name for this company.

If anyone would like to view the emails I would be happy to send them to you.

CSPR - 8 months and undelivered

I ordered a CSPR from this company in March and have not received any answer to my ongoing enquiries about a status update until July. They then sent me a CSPR for a wrong list of ingredients, claiming the system had not picked up the ingredients correctly. The only contact I have received from them after admitting they had made a mistake is a confirmation of delivery. It is now 8 months after I originally ordered from them and the order is as of yet undelivered. The company does also not reply to any of my emails or calls. Stay away from them!

Diabolical

Would never go back to this company! Terrible customer service and quite honestly I don't think their products are worth the money they ask for them.

Bad business practice

I have bad experience about ordering from naturallythinking.com. First, my order came after nearly ONE MONTH and instead of the ordered white plastic bottles came transparent ones. Now they say that I should make an OTHER order to get the white bottles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Transport is quite expensive and at the end they became really expensive. I wrote to them and said is not fair I should do an other order to get the things I have already ordered and paid.

I you have a choice, do not use naturallythinking. Waste of time and money. They seem to be abusive and without good business practice.

Appalling Company

I have never encountered such bad customer service and incompetence before.
They lie about orders placed with them and don't have a clue what they're doing.
First they told me that the order was sent by UKMail, then Royal Mail and then ready for me to collect from their warehouse.
They have a telephone number on the website but no one bothers to answer the phone, they just keep you on hold, the only other way to contact them is by email which takes days for them to respond. AVOID!!!

Fantastic Communication

I read a review on here about the bad communication, so I was a little worried about how well by CPSR was going to go.

Tempted by the prices I thought I had little to lose in placing an order for a CPSR which another company quotes me £280 to complete and 28 days, for only £39.

I placed my order during the Christmas period, so thought I wouldn't hear back from Naturallythinking for a couple of weeks. However I received the automatic emails straight away that let me know what was happening with my order. Then I received another email 2 hours later, running through a few questions with my formulation (this was clearly a human).

After answering a couple of questions, I received my CPSR 3 days later and all for just £39 each. This makes my business affordable. I did previously purchase a £280 report elsewhere and it is nowhere near as comprehensive as the Naturallythinking report.

I have just placed an order for 20 more reports, which will allow my business to be totally legal and give me great piece of mind, all because of the excellent prices I have been offered. I will post again to see how this bigger order gets on.

A bit of communication would be helpful.

Four months ago I paid full price for 5 different products to have toxicology reports. (On separate occasions) In the beginning the communication was flowing, then I found I was being asked for things that weren't requested on the Naturally thinking website when I made my order. I made sure before deciding to part with my money that I had read multiple times what was needed from me first to save them time. 6 weeks ago I emailed the toxicologist to ask directly what is going on with my reports. Just give a straight yes or no will I get my reports or not. NOTHING. No reply what so ever. I am a person who does all business dealings in writting so I have proof of whats been said, so I emailed the company via their message center on the website where they say its the quickest way to get a response up to 48 hrs they say. 8 days later and NOTHING.

When you are trying to start up a business and have invested what little you have, you can not afford to wait months on end for things like this. I wish I had read all the bad reviews on this company before I parted with my money. My business is now in limbo waiting on a yes or no from them. The communication is appalling. To take a persons money state that a process like this could take between 6-8 weeks then for it to be dragged on for 4 months for no reason, and fail to reply to emails even with a simple ' thank you, I have received your email will get back to you in due course'; is unacceptable, and can not be called good service.

I will be taking my money elsewhere in the future. But for now I'm considering contacting WATCHDOG!

Take your money and fail to provide what you pay for.

How long is toooo long. Attended their courses, GMP & EU legislation. Found it to be a waste of time and learned more reading online and using the manuals associated with the ec directives. Most if not all in attendance were for therer for the 50% discount on testing. Might be a good course for those that are complete loons and need taking in hand though. Took 10 months to get the links and supplementary course informations emailed across from the 'instructor' by which time I had already found and used the information needed. Submitted a product for full testing and over 7 months later I am still waiting for the CPSR to arrive with excuses of next week being offered regularly. No offer of compensation of any form as a gesture of good will and I am expected to just have to wait it out without explanation. Even the boss isnt interested in replying to emails, I know you are laid back Danny but hey that is just unacceptable,
